Very Generic. Weak. Not in demand. No buzz in the fragrance community, and for good reason.
Although the original Ikon is a fall/winter masterpiece with excellent performance. This spring/summer flanker is basically a joke. It’s not that the scent is bad. It’s just boring as hell like a gazillion other freshies. I considered selling it but not worth the trouble. Besides I know the buyer will be disappointed. Thus, I’ll use it as a room and shoe freshener.

I was very pleasantly surprised how nice this is. If it had a bit more ooomph I could add it to my “Daily Favourites” hall of fame but I find that you have to spray a lot to get just enough to last 5-6 hours so you’re bottle is as quickly as a can of anti-perspirant. It is pretty cheap though (£15 for 125ml in the UK) so you could replenish frequently.
At the very end of the dry down I noticed remnants of the original Ikon but the Incense of the original Ikon stands it well apart from Ikon Pure which has it’s own fruity (Pear?) woody, spicy composition – ideal for Spring through to Autumn but original Ikon would definitely take over during Winter.

There is some resemblance to the original Ikon when the heart of the fragrance comes through, but this is a lot more fresh. I’d have to do another test for a more proper description though.
