TASMANSKIJ – :
This is a licorice anise scent. Anise dominates this fragrance. It is amazing until it gets to the middle phase, which I am not fond of. The first phase is anise, anise, anise! Oranges, citrus, and lovely jasmine mixed with anise, it is absolutely refreshing. Then the middle phase smells like coconut milk and rotten fruit, which is probably the musk and anise, not a good mix in my opinion. The drydown, however, is a a creamy tropical anise, almonds, exotic citrus fruits, and flowers; basically a blend of all the notes, where the anise is still shining bright. It is so creamy in this phase but still BRIGHT. I really like it, both on skin and clothes. It is very sensual and sexy, very tropical vacation type of scent.
If you love licorice and anise, get this. I totally agree with 1blondeangel’s review. This is a day to night scent. The day is the first phase where the night is the drydown. But the middle phase, well, you’ll have to just be patient through that one.
Update: Gave it away…too cloying. The anise and “milky” note, which I am sure is coconut milk, was a little tooo much.

COOL, I’m the first review!
Let me just say I have fallen in love with Monotheme Venezia Fragrances. I purchased two last year blindly because the notes enticed me. I’m so glad I did!
Ibiza Night Flowers starts out exotic. The flowers (peony, jasmine & star anise) come across immediately and are soft & sweet yet they hit you in the face with a lovely breeze in the heat of the day or night. I picture myself in an exotic location, with flowers in my hair, dancing the night away outside with the locals & sipping fruity drinks until the wee hours of the morning. Within only a few minutes, the fruit start taking center stage all the while, the flowers linger in the background. Musk, Almond, Vanilla all play a part in this most intoxicating fragrance. It’s very sensual!!! Yet, it’s just as refreshing & calming. I could see this being my one & only exotic vacation fragrance. It’s all you would need for day or night. Sillage is great!
My husband smelled this on me one Sunday & could not keep his hands off me. So, I must say it’s not only intoxicating to me but to the opposite sex as well.
I highly recommend trying the Monotheme Venezia line. And, I love the smooth, white bottles.
