This was a “blind” buy for me, based only on the description of scent composition, as well as on the fact that it is not one of the mainstream scents that everybody else and theirs mommas are wearing..So I like that many people dont get it, leaves more for me 🙂
Overall, I do like Hypnotica. While I do not at all care for the opening fruity-ethanol hand sanitizer-like bomb, thankfully, all that mess is gone within about 1 minute, and what stays is a lovely combination of summer flowers and green blackcurrant and crisp ozone-like cyclamen- very light and subtle, not too sweet, great balance. I wish it stayed longer. It is about 4 hours on my skin, but it stays for 8 hours on my clothes. It also makes a graceful exit with a hint of ripe berries and sunny wood, I don’t get any muskiness from it.

It’s cheap. It was cheap, and it smells cheap. In the air around me, on my body, just by smelling the cap: cheap. It’s sharp, synthetic notes of fruit punch and plasticy flowers, and it’s very much kiddy-like and not pretty at all. Like the user below me said, it’s very much soapy and imo almost a bit repulsive. It’s just not like a perfume. Sort of more like a handwash or a body spray you’d find in a dollar store. Barely tolerable; not my thing.

Hypnotica is an interesting fragrance to me, it opens with a burst of fruit, especially pineaple, giving a fizzy sensation ,very fresh and energetic, but sadly after a few minutes appears a strong musk…very soapy and persistent. This soapy smell is almost like laundry detergent. The fruity notes are also present but very shy. The sillage is heavy in the first 20 minutes the it fades a bit , the longevity is not so bad maybe 4 hours on my skin. I remember getting compliments while wearing this scent but honestly i think i won’t buy again.
