D.S. & Durga celebrates the music of Duran Duran by launching four limited edition fragrances in October 2018, celebrating four decades of Duran Duran’s music.
Perfumer David Moltz: “We grew up on Duran Duran, and were really excited when they called. Simon (Le Bon) came to my studio and we worked closely together to translate the lyrics and images from the songs into scent. Simon has a great instinct for perfume, so the process was seamless.”
“I just didn’t want to smell like every body else, so got working with D.S. & Durga to create something different. The collection we came up with is four very different new scents which are brave, original, cut to the heart and ring like glass. I love every one of them”, says Duran Duran frontman Le Bon.
HUNGRY LIKE THE WOLF, 1982. smells like it sounds
“D.S. & Durga‘s Hungry Like the Wolf perfume oil smells just like it sounds – think leather and woods under a pale, powdery haze… Hungry Like the Wolf features notes of leather, atlas cedar, cade, sandalwood and patchouli that capture the vibrant energy of the original music video.”
“I insisted on this song from the 80’s (although there were so many that would have worked!) The fragrance is animalic and captures some of the scenes in the video – the market, the jungle at night. It is furry, wolfy and badass!” – David Moltz, D.S. & Durga co-founder and perfumer.
Notes include leather, atlas cedar, cade, sandalwood and patchouli.
Available in a 10ml oil- based rollerball. Each fragrance is limited to 500 pieces.

“This smells amazing! Like cinnamon and manhood!” I’m sure that is what Deadpool would have to say about this. Tried this out earlier today at Liberty London. Very impressed. A very potent and masculine leathery, woody and spicy scent. I wish they also formulated one for Wild Boys and another for Notorious. Such a shame that only 500 are in circulation. For me this is the best out of the four.
