almost a dupe of black opium but with some honey spice note instead of coffee..nice but not unique and really reminds of other sweet designer perfumes, wouldn’t not ever tell its niche when smelling this on other people.but staying power is really good as it should be for extrait
natik_1981 – :
I loved it, it’s special and unique
250479 – :
Delicate, feminine, woody, floral, poudery, warm and poetry, not very special, but nice!
seryi – :
It shares some familiar female designer fragrance vibes which are not a good thing to be seen in a Niche fragrance.Sweet, woody and a little floral and too feminite
its a MEH to me.
Longevity and sillage both moderate to low!
Not a FB worthy.
Pass.

It reminds me of a “spicy” Black Opium by YSL.
Too sweet.
Cheerioz…

It really speaks in Hundred Silent Ways with full of thoughts and sweet memories. One spray is like a blink of an eye that speaks in hundred silent ways and leave traces in hundred silent ways.
My rating: 10/10

Scent – vanilla, vetiver, orris, jasmine & sandalwood.
Season/Time of Day – I prefer to use this one in the colder months, day or night.
Projection – I did get noticed, it garners compliments.
Longevity – I get 24hrs consistently.

This perfume has an amazing story. It is inspired by a quote of precious poet Rumi! “I closed my mouth and spoke to you in a hundred silent ways”. Rumi touches and awakens our hearts, this elixir touches and awakens our senses to fill the hole in our souls with which we’re made of.. Eternal Love of God..

Nishane products are very dense, so you must wait at least an hour to say what exactly you are smelling.
So, after the horrible (for my taste of course) Black-Opium-Flowerbomb phase, you will appreciate a fantastic creamy gardenia and sandalwood duetto, that has nothing in common with the fruity and caramelized side of those two, apart the sweetness provided by vanilla.
Starts with fruitchouli, ends with a white creamy flower and sandalwood.
I would recommend it to any white-flowers lover

Marco Chau – EXACTLY! I just received the bottle that I HAD to have and am in LOVE. I am so glad that I went for this blind buy. I am hoping the sillage and longevity live up to my expectations :o)

Hundred Silent Ways must develop on skin a Hundred Different Ways, because I’m surprised by the reviews I’ve read here. This reminded me a lot of Vanille d’Iris by Ormonde Jayne. The opening is initially quite sweet, but within minutes the vetiver shines through and complements the gardenia, iris and sandalwood very well. The fruity notes do not emerge strongly on me. It’s more suited to cooler weather but could be worn in most settings. In my view it leans feminine, but the vetiver might be more prominent on others.
To my nose, it certainly isn’t a LVEB or Black Opium. There are gourmand elements but this perfume is far more balanced and way less sugary. The vetiver note is very welcome. It is on the pricey side though.
For me it’s a definite like, and on the wish list for when I win the lottery.

This is YSL’s Black Opium with a much better name.

fruity, white floral and totally not for me!
at the start there is quite a brutal smokey-vanilla accord, which then clams down into a respectable floral scent. unfortunately, this type of scent does not really speak to me, and as such, i’m not keen on it, but it does smell quite pretty, i must say…

Hundred Silent Ways kind of reminded me of Allure Sensuelle by Chanel sans Patchouli and 24 Faubourg Parfum by Hermes sans Hyacinth and with much tamed Tuberose and white flowers, both happened to be my favorites. The dry down is soft woody, creamy and balsamic with heavy vanilla.
This fragrance is sort of thick leaving an oily film on the skin and it took a while to bloom. Because of this, I believe it would develop quite differently on different people. It is very well made with high quality ingredients and definitely worth trying.

Tried this on paper. First thing first… Guys, this is too girly for us. Not even unisex. Wife confirms that too. It is sweet. Unfortunately it’s sweetness is in the league of Victoria’s Secret’s fragrances. This doesn’t necessarily mean plastic smelling. It is nice but not exciting enough to spend €160.
OK for girls but a pass for women. I am still happy to smell another vanilla/jasmine fragrance ‘Cinema’ (YSL) on her which is more suitable for women at her 30s and 40s.

I closed my mouth
and spoke to you
in a hundred silent ways.
Nishane was inspired by Rumi’s poetry? 🙂 Really eager to smell this one.
