I honestly can’t stand it. It’s cloying. It’s annoying. It’s too sweet. It’s tired florals on overly warm base. It’s menacing. Worst blind buy I ever made.
Wollfs – :
Warm cozy woody musky and vaguely sweet, but mostly oily and expensive cosmetic smelling. I like it and the texture it left on my skin was nice.
I am not sure what exactly it smells like. It’s a warm skin scent that does remind a bit of dryish suntan oil, a bit of expensive cosmetics and a bit of massage oil. It does vaguely remind argan oil scent, but less toasted and more dry woody. I enjoyed the wafts of scent in a warm summer night.

Nice and different, though smells like shampoo..Its longevity is minimal. It goes away after about 15 minutes-especially on anyone with dry skin.

I agree @LetThereBeMe! I even checked the Caudalie website to make sure there wasn’t a perfume based on the oil that looked exactly like the oil… (which would make no sense, but you never know) and there isn’t one. There’s Parfum Divin (2014) which is listed on here with the exact same notes but this oil is just an oil.
Oh well, since it’s here and since I’m soaked in it right now, I might as well review it. Honestly, I DO get a definite scent from this but it’s more of a cosmetic/ body cream sort of scent, not what one would describe as a perfume. Think the smell of something thick, white goopy and Nivea-like (not smell-wise, just how it looks in my imagination if I were to close my eyes, sniff and describe what I’m smelling.) It’s actually odd to me that something that looks and feels like argan oil smells like this. I’m seeing all the things listed in the notes but it’s difficult for me to point at any one of them and go “Aha! I smell rose! Or cedar!” Normally I’m good at being able to sniff out at least a note or two accurately but this one just befuddles my nose.
It’s not an unpleasant scent. When you’re hanging out at home and using it on your face and hair like I’m doing right now it’s actually a relaxing spa-day kind of scent. But it’s really not anything you’d be thinking of wearing on a date or to impress your friends. It’s like the comfy yoga pants and baggy T-shirt you wear at home when you want to relax and you know no one will come over and bother you.
As an oil, it’s good. A bit on the greasy side (another reason you don’t want to run outside with it.) It makes my hair shiny and strong and keeps my skin happy during the cold months. One tip I can give is to flat iron or blow-dry your hair and apply the oil while your hair is still hot.
Anyway I feel weird writing all of that since Fragrantica is not a makeup review site. If you really want this as a perfume, try the Parfum Divin first. I haven’t smelled it myself but it would make way more sense than this if all you want is the scent.
DO NOT BLIND BUY!!

Divine! It truly is a divine experience applying this oil… anywhere you like! It’s sexy and heavenly. As soon as I open the bottle and dab some on my finger I am already in a happy mood. It’s a personal kind of scent that I wear for myself rather than thinking how it may affect others. Since it is an oil it seems more like a body product but the scent lasts a long time and is like a perfume. I highly recommend it. Dyptique makes a body oil that is equally as satisfying but a different, more subtle scent.

I’m surprised that this one is on Fragrantica. I would never have imagined seeing it here. It’s a body oil. Am I the only one who finds this being here, strange?
Anyway, moving along. It’s here. I own it. This is the review section. So I’ll get on with reviewing it.
Having freshly applied this to my skin, I would not have guessed all the notes listed here. The smell of the oil is quite hard to describe.
It is musky, but not a soft, cozy musk. Its a musty/dusty musk. The floral notes are not very prominent but do add, just the right amount of, sweetness. It also smells rather nutty on me.
Sadly, I get no spiciness from the pepper or the cedar. I also can’t identify any citrus.
I do like and use this as a layering base. It holds fragrance well.

This one is very Close to huile divine, but huile divine is Long lasting

It’s a great oil for body skyn (I don’t like oil on my face, but i tried it also on hairs), the parfum is light and feminine, very nice…but I can’t believe those notes, i feel a lot of lily!
