Well gypsyparfumista did not exaggerate at all, I must say.
Sunshine in a bottle. Fresh & cheerful and yet classy.
True it does not last too long – gone quiet just 1.5 hours into wearing it. To be honest, I can forgive this, which is a biggie given that I hardly ever compromise on longevity.

Lovely start to finish. Though I don’t get noticeable citrus in the open, this quickly goes to the heart: spicy dry from the champaca leaf, sweetened a bit with floral. In fact, it smells quite a bit like unburned nag champa incense, delicious, but with a definite head shop vibe. Drydown is a soft amber, not too sweet, which makes me extremely happy. Wish it lasted longer (3 hours tops) or that this one came in body oil like a few other Tallulah Jane scents, but I think it might be FB worth anyway. I’ll bet this would be wonderful on a guy too.
(My sample was a freebie from the perfumer, sent with my order, and I’m guessing the concentration was EDP).

This scent is magnificent!
I received my 30 ml edp of this just today from Tallulah Jane NYC; and a note from the perfumer read : “You requested HOPE, I sent RAYEN as it is the same formula, with a new different name.”
Anyone interested in this scent can get it by ordering RAYEN from the company’s website.
