I got me a sample of this one yesterday.
It might be due to the fact that I was wearing an other perfume already, but when I sprayed this on my wrist, the sharpness banged me on the head and almost gave me a headacke.
First thing that came to my mind was: ‘Aftershave’! If this one is not more suitable for male, at least it is suitable as a unisex-scent, in my opinion.
With it’s drydown it became more soft and tender but I couldn’t get rid of the aftershave-idea…and along with it came the association with ‘roomspray’, probably due to the aromatique character of this cologne.
Funny thing is that it was easily washed off, but it lingered on in my nose for quite a while…
The Fig is quite different from what I know it to be…I don’t know if you are familiar with the shower- and bodylotions- and butters from ‘Rituals’ like in the Netherlands, but they do have a line in which the fig seems much more ‘figgy’. (actually I was searching for something like a frag to match it with)
I must admit that lately my nose may be just too full of scents from wearing and/or from trying many…so maybe I must give it a little vacation…(-:
And so I might update on this one later.
