(You guys who are asking about jasmine, hedione = basically a chemical that smells like jasmine.)
The bottle is basically glass but wrapped in some sort of matte plastic to give that rubbery look, mine has the plastic peeling off in one edge so I was able to get it for a very cheap price. In the back of the bottle, it’s been debossed onto the plastic (I just googled the ‘opposite of emboss’ and it gave me this word) it’s printed:
    HIGH FREQUENCY
    Main Notes
    Magnolia-Jasmine
    Almond-Musk
I’m just including this here so you guys can feel satisfied that the company agrees about the jasmine too.
Anyway the first two minutes of this was underwhelming. Similar to PdM Pegasus but in a sort of ‘why even bother?’kind of way. But after the fragrance settled, this literal marzipan scent emerged. I actually got up and went to the kitchen where I have a small block of marzipan from Austria (54% almond) I compared the marzipan to my hand and my hand smells much better. My hand is like the marzipan + a very pretty heliotrope floral accord. It’s like how you wish your marzipan would actually smell.
All that being said this is a very grown-up scent. This isn’t your gourmand Nina Ricci marzipan. Because the almond note is sweetened with floral notes (for me it feels like heliotrope + gardenia & magnolia, not so much jasmine to be honest) instead of sugary notes this feels way more adult and sensual.
If you are familiar with Teint de Neige (a powdery heliotrope + rose perfume) if that one was the innocent young naif, this one would be her femme fatale big sister. Like the polar opposite while still being in the same powdery/helitrope-ish category.
I feel like this would be really sexy on a guy too. It feels like the kind of fragrance to wear while having sex on a cold winter night.
I really want to try the other two offerings in the Carnal Blends collection too.
Anyway now that I said all the nice things, the price ($305 for 90ml) is a joke and the website is pretentious and relies on the same kind of innuendo-laden hype that the “pheromone”-based perfumes did back in the 90’s (basically “buy this and get laid!” but behind the gauze of big and fancy flowery words.) I really don’t find that cute at all, I find it more condescending really. I’m really side-eyeing the company. It’s like someone watched Eyes Wide Shut and took it way too seriously.
    Fragrance itself: 8.5/10
    Price/Silliness: 0/10
EDIT – Okay, I come back after 12 hours because I feel obligated to tell you guys, I am not only still smelling this beauty on my hands and wrists (especially my forearm area where fragrance always tends to stick) and the fragrance has gotten sweeter and attained a deep rich, almost chocalatey honeyed almond powdery floral quality. Why can’t it smell like this from initial spray??
Anyway, I’m increasing my score of this fragrance from 8.5 to 9.2 because the longevity (only 2 sprays, one on each wrist and touch wrists to backs of hands and make a light sweeping gesture towards forearms, so literally only two sprays and its lasts over 12 hours!) and also because it smells so extra lovely now!

I agree with the previous comment: why isn’t jasmine listed here? “High Frequency” is jasmine heaven 🙂 The fragrance is nice indeed, a well-blended mix of white flowers and a powdery accord (almond, is that you?). Reminds of a less artificial-smelling Alien, the jasmine/white floral note is more natural and alive here, somehow. But, unfortunately there are 3 “buts” for me (cringeworthy joke, I know :))
But n1- it stays close to skin, very close to skin, way too close to skin.
But n2- Longevity is low to moderate, which could be forgivable for an Elizabeth Arden or Bruno Banani fragrance, not so for an expensive niche perfume.
But n3- Its price. Around 200 dollars for a scent that only lasts a couple of hours and it’s only noticeable if you stick your nose into your wrist.
If they improved “but n1” and “but n2”, well, the price tag mentioned in “but n3” would be justified. Until then, 2* out of 5* IMHO.

    Where are the jasmines!!
This is jasmines, magnolia, and hints of gardenia. This is a white floral BLASK. It begins showing some almonds yes, but later, the colder the more floral it gets.
It is fine, but i kind of see it as a room spray (freshener) rather than a fragrance, although it’s kind of nice.
