Ok does what it says on the tin. Definitely the best one in this range of soliflores. Smells of rose geranium essential oil with a citrus edge.

I love soliflores and no one does them better than Yardley. I was really excited when they came out with their “Heritage” collection. Orange Blossom and Hyacinth are delights. Geranium is easily the least of the line. The opening is terrific: herby, spicy geranium and liquidy fresh cut grass. It’s pungent and smooth and cool enough to tame a hot day. But the heart turns overly sweet and oily, it reminds me a lot of daphne, and remains so through the drydown. If you don’t mind the smell of daphne(not one of my favorites) then I highly recommend Geranium. To me, this is a rare disappointment from Yardley.

I was not sure what geranium smelt like before I bought this one, but I would recommend buying this one only if you like the smell of geranium since it appears to be a fairly linear fragrance. I do get some green notes and overall its not a bad fragrance but not something I will use or buy again. Sigh! One more bottle bought unsniffed that will sit in the back of my closet! Such a pretty box though! Had more luck with Yardley’s english daisy which I will review later.

Very natural scent… true to the original flower. Delightful in summer.
