Her Secret Temptation is not a perfume I can wear. I am beginning to think that I dislike patchouli and yet it is a note featured in many perfumes I enjoy. In this particular instance I find it a cloying suffocating powdery mess on my skin. I love powdery fragrances in general. But this is so sweet in a very strange non-gourmet way, there is a nauseating sweet powdery note in this that I cannot stand. At first I thought it is the weather, I tested this the first time in really hot and humid weather. But I tried it in different situations over a period of time and got the same sickly feeling every time. This is the first perfume that made me feel physically unwell.
I get the comparison with LVEB, they share the same sweet patchouli powdery note. In fact the dry down of this smells pretty similar to LVEB, more than one person mistook it for LVEB while I wore this. So this might be a cheaper alternative for those who enjoy LVEB. If you like modern patchouli powdery scents do try this, it should be right up your alley.
I don’t see this as a “fresh oriental” there is nothing fresh about this in my opinion. It is a pretty heavy hitter. This is best for cold weather and preferably in the evening. This is a solid dislike for me, but don’t let that deter you from giving it a fair trail. If you like the modern sweet powdery patchouli type of scents this might be for you. Lovely bottle though, it is so feminine and pretty.

This is a wonderful sophisticated sweet perfume. I accidentally got some reduction of the brand and I spat from the testers. I am very capricious about smells and
I do not slave prices and brands. I first tested Her Golden Secret and then her Secret Temptation. Both of them liked, but the second one grabbed me. I love lately oriental floral perfumes, but it’s kind of clean, well-made and made with nice products exquisite candy. Sweet but not heavy, but really tempting, enticing. I love this perfume.
Edit: perfume I use winter and stay fine and elegant in the cold. At the moment, temperatures are between 0 and 10 degrees Celsius

To tell in detail about the perfume it’s EDT but scent lasts longer than most EDT’s. The perfect definitely is a night one. Its too heavy for the day and the scent is very sensual.

Longer lasting than usual for Antonio Banderas’ perfumes and with greater sillage too on my skin, but unfortunately on me it is a bit of a mess, unbalanced, cloying. The masculine version is much better.
