I blind bought this in a moment of weakness, thinking if it didn’t work out, I could give it to my sister who also loves all things Hello Kitty. Even though it’s very humid here, this EDT is still going strong after 3 hours from 3 sprays, chest and arms. It’s predominately sweet liquorice, from the natural root not the confectionary kind, much like lolita. The initial spray has a fresh grapefruit and raspberry blast that quickly gives way to sweet liqourice and vanilla with a hint of floral. The dry down is still sweet but also more musky and slightly woody. I don’t get much of the rose/frangipani, even though my husband thought it smelt like flowers. And if there is toffy apple here, it must have drowned in the sweetness of the liqourice. The bottle inself is rather pretty, cute in an understated way. It’s a bit different to the usual offerings and even though it does project much, overall I quiet like it. For me it’s a lighter, fresher liqourice scent for a rainy day.

Grapefruit and peach. The Miss Dior Cherie comparison kicked in my memory. This is a clean shampoo, Victoria Secret type perfume.
Update: I think I may have the wrong Hello Kitty here. There are so many versions. I also add apple to the above review, and smell no vanilla.

Very much like Lolita Lempicka.

My sister–in–law offered me a bottle of this one on my birthday. She knows that I love to wear perfumes so she had asked my husband what I was wearing that period. He told her ‘Katy Perry’ and she misunderstood it with ‘Hello Kitty’!
When she gave me the perfume I was wondering if I would ever wear this because my first impression was that this must be for children only. So wrong I was!
Loved it. It is so girly, innocent and lovely. Pear and liquorice notes came gently to my nose, the flowers were giving their touch and then vanilla note softened the perfume down, giving it a wonderful powdery sweet feeling.
The longevity for this ‘Eau de toilette’ was nice to my surprise. At least, two to three hours on my skin and if I apply some vanilla lotion first I get the maximum silage of it.
If I like a perfume I will wear it. And since I love this fragrance, if anyone asks me what I am wearing, I will definitely answer ‘Hello Kitty’ without hum and haw. Proudly!

This is nice light fruity and fresh. I thought I smelled lychee but I guess it was apple and other combination of raspberry and whatever. I like it! It’s such a fun youthful scent. It’s like as if YSL Elle and Miss Dior Cherie had a baby sister. 🙂

Although advertised as an ‘adult’ scent, this still seems a mite childish, just because of the name. But even so, I’m a sucker for anything with a mix of raspberry w/vanilla, and because this is also classified as a gourmand, I’m all the more anticipating to try this. I wonder where I can buy this in Canada…. I hope this is as nice as it sounds.
