Wonderful!!! This is a really gorgeous perfume!! I adore patchouli and rose, and this combination of notes is altogether one of my very favourites! I love the lily-of-the-valley, it’s so lovely, fresh, sweet and endearing, and the rose and raspberry are yum! It’s really such a delightful, long lasting and delicious scent, and the bottle is to die for! The beautiful amber smoothes everything over, and it’s all perfect for me. I love it!

This is gorgeous and if you like Elle (YSL) you will like this too. The Patchouli and Rose combination always does it for me and this has not disappointed. It opens with clean patchouli and rose with the raspberry lending a sweetness to it, the Jasmine, Neroli and Amber add to but never take over or away from the Patchouli and Rose. I do not get the Vanilla but on the drydown the Musk comes through. Had it on for nearly six hours now and I can still smell it.
Update – I was wearing it for work and one of my male staff said that I smelled fantastic and asked me what it was, he then asked me to order a bottle for his wife

OMG!Great quality and smell.I bought it blind, expecting sugary modern celebrity junk, but this is awsome. It is very similar to Elle by YSL,but sweeter.Yes this is sweeter and more patchouli version of ELLE by Ysl.Great!!

After reading Dr. Marlen Harrison’s review, I had to seek this one out (the very reasonable price helped…I paid around $30 USD for a 3.4 oz.) and his description of a winey, patchouli/rose intrigued me. Also, this is my first Spanish fragrance, so I am very happy to have it in my collection. It is a delightful, light fragrance. Something about it makes me want to gleefully spray myself with abandon! This fragrance is light enough (in my humble opinion and experience) that you could do that. The patchouli I think is what causes a slightly winey/boozy feel to it (I didn’t actually smell “red wine”) and the rose is very soft. It isn’t what I would call sweet, but it isn’t earthy/musty or heavy. I am impressed with how well this is blended. The more heavily you spray it on, the more this helps with its longevity for the day; just a normal 2 sprays will get you only two hours. Office friendly. I think some men could pull this off. I certainly would like to smell it on a man, I think it would actually be quite nice, if not intriguing. Sometimes you need a fragrance that you can just have fun spraying yourself like crazy with, and this one is light enough (and inexpensive enough) that I think you could do that and not choke anyone else out or give yourself a headache! It is a well made little sleeper of a gem!

My sister brought this back from a trip to Spain for me…and I wish I could love this. The intial spritz of bergamot settles quickly into a strawberry/cherry scent which seems to disappear after only a few hours. The fragrance is nothing new nor complex and reminds me of the fruity body sprays you can buy at Victoria’s Secret or Bath & Body Works. The bottle & topper are cute if you are a bottle collector, but a forgettable fragrance.

I love it! Bought in Spain while on holiday and now my only problem is that I can’t buy in Australia!

Nice fragrance, but not unique. It reminds me to the smell of Robitusim a little bit. To me, it smells like rasberries, blackberries and strawberries mixed with flowers. Not bad, though.

I don’t like it at all.
It is too sweet, flowery fragance along the same lines as YSL Elle (but stronger).
Sometimes I have seen it classified as floral-chypre-oriental.
According to the official list of notes, Hechizo features Italian bergamote (I don’t get it), Tunisia Neroli (hmmm… I wish, but not), “spring” muguet (really?), jasmin (sweet jasmin, like Songes), bulgarian rose and Morocco Rose.
Strawberry in the heart and patchouli, amber, vanilla and musk in the base.
All in all, I can see why it can please a lot of people, because it has long and noticeable sillage, and it can be comfortably worn in cool summer nights, but it’s not my cup of tea.
