Hm… I bought this scent on a recent trip to Dubai. It was presented as a vanilla scent, and that is my strongest impression of the scent as well. On the notes here there is no vanilla _at all_. Interesting. There are also notes mentioned here, such as “spicy notes”, and some flowers (lotus, orange blossom) that I don’t detect at all. To me this is a very soft, powdery, vanilla scent. Long lasting and without agar wood (oud) that so often characterizes Arabian perfume oils. A beutiful winter comforter. Obviously a good mix of ingredients as well.
Edit: My bottle is also different from the bottle in the picture althought the packaging is much the same.
