Description
We announce Givenchy Harvest 2008 with pleasure. It is presented to the market in March 2009 and it includes luxurious editions we are used to seeing in previous years. The fragrances of this collection are the best variations of the most famous fragrances composed of the highest quality harvests of flowers from various parts of the world. Harvest 2008 brings us flowers from sunny Morocco, India, Turkey and aromas of Madagascar.
These limited editions are composed of highest quality flowers the essences of which decorate each of the fragrances. Another Givenchy edition is added this year. Trio of Amarige, Organza and Very Irresistible has been presented from 2005 in luxurious packages with richer, high quality composition, whereas an enriched version of Ange ou Demon joins the Harvest in 2009.
Just like every year, Givenchy takes us for fragrant journeys around the world. This year the love of flower above flowers, ylang-ylang, is renewed, combining and newly composing Harvest 2008: Amarige Ylang-Ylang 2008. Its harvest was collected in 2008 on the island of Nosy bee, Madagascar. The perfume radiates with sunny and floral essences of ylang-ylang, which are the key ingredient of this fragrant elixir. Top notes incorporate ylang-ylang, fresh almonds, neroli and petit grain leaves. A heart adds mimosa supported by white flowers, while a base encompasses velvety wood accords. The fragrance is packed in elegant glass flacons and is available as 60 ml (2 oz) EDT. The new Harvest fragrance is an ideal revelation of shimmering and sensual accents of the original edition.
demanadidas – :
I find this to be a fresh, non-indolic jasmine and mimosa scent; I get barely more than a hint of ylang ylang. I was hoping for something a bit darker, more dirty after reading the notes, but perhaps this special harvest ylang ylang was used because it is cleaner smelling than the usual heavier scent. I find this version more user friendly, which is frankly what Givenchy is becoming to the extreme. The house has not really stimulated my nose in quite some time, and while inoffensiveness sells, this doesn’t get my dollar. A pleasant yet forgettable spring scent.
