Oh wow this can brighten up the dreariest of days! What a fantastic perfume, very tropical with a gorgeous aquatic twist. It’s a very ‘feel good’ Fragrance. It’s everything you would expect a tropical scent to smell like, I absolutely love it. The first spray smells similar to Hawaiian tropic golden
Paradise then it settled into a gorgeous floral aquatic musky fragrance, I smell the coconut and lime in the initial spray it’s very similar to Body Fantasies Coconut Signature Body Mist, gorgeous Summer Fragrance xx

Totdat I was testing Giorgio Armani’s Sun di Gioia and it reminded me of a scent from the past… And all of a sudden I knew it…. Harajuku lovers sunshine cuties Baby G. I don’t think it’s a dupe, but it’s aan close call

I loved the coconut and vanilla in this one. Drydrown a bit powdery but still sweet. Not too overwhelming.
Too bad I can’t find it anywhere anymore, I would love to have this one again.

Got it during a period when I was obsessed with coconut smell. This perfume seems quite simple to me – sweet coconut and vanilla. I love to wear this during the summer, when I go to the beach. However, because of quite poor lasting power, it is not worth the price.

I completely agree with Caseyu, i have wanted this for so long, a year almost, and then i finally got it in mail today, what a disappointment! I almost thought a got a fake one, but it did come in a box with a Kohl’s tag so .. it’s real. And it smells HORRIBLE, at least ON MY SKIN. I don’t smell ANY coconut, vanilla, cream .. anything sweet whatsoever, actually all i smell in it is .. grass. Not nice freshly cut, just gross. It reminds me of DKNY To Go Women, in a bad way. I LOVE the bottle and will keep it because of it, but seriously Gwen .. no good. This is actually my third from the series and so far i have only quite liked Love, Lil’Angel wasn’t good either. Blah.

It smells like sweet coconut. It reminds me of going on holiday to a warm climate with sandy beaches. The smell is slightly like suncream, but is really pleasant, perfect for summertime.
However, I wouldn’t recommend it. This perfume only lasts a couple of hours on my skin, and 10ml of this stuff was expensive.
I’m now on a mission to find a perfume that smells similar to this, but with a better longevity. ‘SJP NYC Pure Crush Sarah Jessica Parker’ looks promising. Can anyone recommend it?

oh Lord, i wanted to love this. went to store, sprayed on arm. went, “what…?!” this is no sweet girly frag. this is straight-up harsh somewhat woody (what kind of wood, i cannot say, but the same ew-wood that is the main element of the composition of Sunny Love) mixed with the dryest “coconut” i have yet encountered. total disappointment. i am willing to give any coconut a chance. check out the wardrobe – coconut. but not this one. thought at first it was a bad batch but then i sprayed Sunny Love on my other wrist and realized they were both noxious and couldn’t do it. no creaminess, no musk, even, that i could sense. didn’t even get fruits, beloved! i don’t really know what to make of it all. did not purchase.

This is a fun summer scent, but in my opinion I find it to sometimes be a little strong. It is definitely one for Coconut lovers.

I prefer this to the original G. When I first smell it I get Coconut, pineapple (?) and vanilla. It’s more powdery that the original but for some reason I like it a lot more. After a little while there is a sort of musk smell to it too. I definately recommend! 🙂

    Margarita.
On my skin, from the bottle. It’s all the same. I get a soft, hardly noticeable musk far off in the distance. It smells like margarita. Pure and simple.

i don’t get any fruit whatsover.
Topnote coconut, then immediately dries down to vanilla and musk…..very powdery.
    Smells like baby powder

I personally think G is the best among the Harajuku Lovers Series! I want it so bad because im going to Australia next year and its gonna be summer and i feel that this fragrance should be perfect for a summers day as i had smelled it during a window shopping session with my best friend

This is the cocounut fagrance that I have been longing for! I originally tried the original Harajuku Lovers G but found there was too much of a Pinapple note for me. It was overly sweet and I smelled like a Pina Colada. Not what I was going for. My sister, however, loves the Pina Cola fragrance and bought the original.
Sunshine Cuties G features more of a Coconut and Vanilla combination, which I love! It’s much more of a deeper and mature scent, for me, than the original. But still summery! Hope that helps others who may be deciding between the two!

creamy coconut but in a elegant perfume smell i love it!

I’m not really getting much coconut here. To me it’s all about the tonka bean! And a dash of vanilla on the side. Not bad, not ecxiting either.

I disagree with the other reviewers. I put on 2 sprays of Sunshine Cuties G and it lasted me 9 hours!! The thing is, I really love the opening of the fresh fruit and coconut. It’s sparkly and summery and makes you feel happy. But on me, it was quickly and almost brutally replaced with the tonka beans, musk and vanilla in the base. The tonka bean smell was so strong and lasted so long, that I became afraid other might think I had spilled chocolatey candy on myself… It’s very sweet, thick and powerful. I think I will stick to 1 little spritz in the morning or switch to a fruitier HL fragrance.

Creamy coconut with a subtle, vaguely fruity floral background. The vanilla is what gives the coconut its creaminess, it smells like a pleasant dessert-y (natural, not syrupy) coconut. This stuff is so weak that it’s more like a body spray though, it should really come in a larger size even for its modest price.

    Someone compared this to
    “Creeds virgin island water”
NO WAY THIS ONES WAY BETTER!!
    it’s kinda like a Pina coloda/Vanilla
it’s not real sweet, it’s just right
some vanillas have a fresh paper smell to them.
like when you flip through new printing paper and smell it
    that’s what this has……. with a pina colada 🙂

Love the coconut! Reminds me of the tropical island where I’m originally from 😀 I wish they had bigger bottles and I wish they were a little cheaper heheh..
Soft, vanilla, not fruity-floral sweet.. Just perfect!

Smells very soft, and cozy, not the least bit over-powering, like a day at the beach w/ an 85 degree temperature… In other words its just right 2 me. I also found the coconut in this version smoother and more well blended than in the original…

I picked up a small bottle and tried it today. It’s not too bad – the coconut is pretty strong, but it is tempered and freshened by the Mandarin and White Peach on the top, and the Orange water quickly comes into play. I can’t quite catch the heliotrope, but I do get hints of the tiare flower (which is a lovely scent on its own). The vanilla and sandalwood powder it out after awhile. Unfortunately it is a very short-lived fragrance – just a couple hours and it is gone. I don’t think I’ll be bothering to put money into buying a larger bottle of this.

While very very similar to the original, theres something about it that makes it a bit different. Its nice & I like it. I only like G and Love from the new Sunshine Cuties. I think they’re a bit better the the originals. : )

I received mine today and had been really looking forward to it. I think the package is really cute. The fragrance was a slight dissapointment to me. I had expected a completely different fragrance as the notes are quite different from the original but when I sprayed it on I found that the coconut is again very overwhelming, which I like, but it makes it very similar to the original. Also, the lasting power is very bad, at least on me.

I think G is the sweetest and nicest one of the Harajuku Lovers serie. It’s nice and sweet, but not overwelming.
