Apparently, Fragrantica hasn’t updated Illume’s fragrance line, so I will put what info I have and my reviews for their other scents here. Illume has a large candle collection and seems to focus on those more than EDP perfume, but I really like almost everything I have smelled from them and think they have a knack for combining notes! Super impressed and look forward to trying out more of their stuff.
AMBER DUNES
Top notes: bergamot, peach
Middle notes: tobacco flower, golden amber
Base notes: sandalwood, Asian teak
I LOVE this one! The peach, amber, and sandalwood come through strong to me and is a lovely combination. It’s sweet but not cloying and reminds me of warm weather. I would totally eat a candy or tea that smells like this, but it’s not overly gourmand, either. Very interesting and unique in my opinion.
INDICA LAVENDER
Top notes: bergamont, sea salt mist
Middle notes: herbal indica, white lavender
Base notes: white patchouli, white cedarwood
This has a very strong cannabis note to it and I am definitely not a fan! I don’t want to smell like weed, and despite the other lovely components in here, I can’t stand to wear it.
CHANTERELLE MOSS
Top notes: lime, melon, eucalyptus and lavender
Middle notes: ginger, Thuya wood, rhubarb and dewberry
Base notes: violet, cedar wood, sandalwood and patchouli
The woods and berry notes of this perfume come through the most. It smells like fresh and fragrant moss! It is sweet and I don’t get the lime at all (not a great lover of lime so it works out for me).
BLACKBERRY ABSINTHE
Top notes: green leaves, apple, blackberry
Middle notes: rose, jasmine, lily of the valley, lactonic
Base notes: wood, amber, vanilla, musk, patchouli
The sweetest of the bunch! Definitely get that blackberry and vanilla note, but it doesn’t hang around in sugary dessert territory too long. The apple and patchouli are present and keep it “natural” smelling.
TONKA NOIR
Top notes: jeweled mandarin, orange slices, black plum
Middle: crimson rose petals, night-blooming jasmine, whipped custard
Base notes: salted musk, Madagascar vanilla, sandalwood, tonka bean
I smell more plum than citrus and the foody notes like custard, vanilla, salt, and tonka. The musk, or something else in here, gives a slight tinge of alcohol. The flowers aren’t that present but this one is more floral compared to the others. I still like it!

I am loving this little roll on that I bought on a whim. It is a great fresh watery scent with a hint of sweet citrus. I get mainly cucumber and “bamboo” (although I’m not sure I am familiar with what real bamboo smells like but it is reminiscent of other scents labeled bamboo). The dry down after a few hours is when I really enjoy this. It smells very unisex, clean, and somewhat sweet and soapy on me. This is great on a hot day and lasts a long time because it is in oil base.
