Spicy, exotic and a touch animalic due to the honey accord that is present throughout this gem has not disappointed. The rose stays in the background along with the cloves giving away a soft, smoky, velvety sensation but is well blended with the woods and spices. I can detect the saffron note which gives the whole concoction its exotic vibe. The Oud here is not skanky though present and detectable. I kept sniffing my arm to enjoy the warm, sensational, oriental beauty. Bearing in mind its low cost I can say that for those, like me, who appreciate Orientals this oil is a must.

Another Mitsouko lover here! I definitely see the lineage and could easily call Hanuna a cousin of Mitsouko, but there’s something about it that’s not quite working for me.
One swipe of the dabby/ wandy thingie on my decolletage has given me 8 hours (and counting) of moderate sillage and no sign that the scent is going to wear off soon. The cloves, oud and wood notes are the main attraction but, sadly, I get very little in the way of floral notes, and I love all the ones that are listed in the pyramid. A little more honey would be welcomed by my sweet tooth but, given the low cost, I am deeply impressed with it’s potency and longevity.
Personally, I feel Hanuna leans more to the masculine. I probably need to try it with a vanilla/ honey-ish body lotion to see if it’ll tip more towards the feminine. There’s an awful lot of potential here that I don’t want to lose without some sort of fight.
I’m still undecided about it, though. One minute I’ll love the warmth and depth of the cloves and woods, another I’ll be bored and want another dimension. I’ve ticked the “Like” icon above for now. But, if you see the “Dislike” score a hit, then bounce back again, it’ll probably be me, still deciding what to make of it!

I you, like me, love Mitsouko for its soft apricoty sweet and soft spicy opening and a skin that turns the magic smell sour and harsh on drydown -choose Hanuna. It is spot on, no difference! (on my skin that is).
Oudy/woody at start and end, middle noticable enough to give it some warmth. Lasts <10 hours.
