Oh yes. Doesn’t smell like Flowerbomb to me, Flowerbomb is very sharp in comparison. This is round and softly fuzzy. Wild strawberry toffee, sweet but not scented eraser territory, more like a pale pink blanket of awesomeness that’s always a pleasure to have around. When applied lightly it’s subdued and content with being so. That’s how this fragrance is the most becoming.

I agree with the others that this smells very similar (not exactly the same) as Flowerbomb. This is a bit fresher – not as heavy or quite as “perfumy” as Flowerbomb. One spray of Flowerbomb gives me a killer headache and this one doesn’t bother me at all (although it is also pretty potent, strong and long lasting). If you like Flowerbomb and either can’t wear it cause it gives you headaches or just want something similar but much more affordable I would highly suggest getting this one. I own both and much prefer NO4.
Edit: I’ve since gifted away my bottle of Flowerbomb – no regrets.

Meh. Starts with promise, ends with disappointment.

I use Hanae Mori Butterfly, it’s been my signature scent for over a decade. I have also had Magical Moon (which I liked but not as much as Butterfly), and I have No.7 currently as well. I bought No.4 and No.7 at the same time, and I don’t know if it’s just because I prefer No.7 more than this one, but No.4 is somewhat “eh” to me. It might be my body chemistry because when I take a whiff of the bottle it smells great. When I spray it on, it reminds me of some waxy/alcohol type hairspray or lipstick smell. I don’t know why. Hours later, it smells like some type of faint, tart raspberry body spray that you would get from VS or Bath & Body Works.
One thing I have noticed, is that it is very long lasting & the sillage is HUGE, as compared to all the other HM fragrances I have mentioned. However, the longevity is this odd transition from alcohol smell that burns your eyes, to weird waxy scented makeup, to body spray, to body wash. I don’t know if that explains it but it’s not worth waiting it out for the dry down. Perhaps if yo spray it on hours before leaving your house. One of the men I am dating couldn’t handle it when I first put it on, he said it smelled nice but it was burning his eyes.
For you HM fragrance fans out there who love Butterfly and Magical Moon, I would suggest No.7 as something that is more true to these scents as a series of what you would expect from Hanae Mori. Then again, I am really into the fruity, gourmand, sugary, vanilla, berry, caramel, edible smelling fragrances, if that makes sense. For instance, someone recommended Flowerbomb to me based on my preferences and I hated it, but I strangely love the Viva La Juicy Noir and Gold perfumes which I was expecting to find nauseating.

Just got this in and again I am so irritated to know this is another limited edition… Because this one smells absolutely divine! Well, to my taste at least 🙂
This is absolutely the type of scent that I’m craving for lately. The very sweet, very gourmand, fruit choulies!
This one reminds me a lot of Aquolina Pink Sugar Sparks, but without the coffee. But instead of coffee this has delicious toffee! (Just one letter of difference, right?! LOL) Yummmmie!! My nose and my senses are very pleased to say the least!
And since PSS is also compared to Flowerbomb, I guess No 4 is also similar to Flowerbomb.
I think Jimmy Choo lovers will love this one as well. I wanted to love JC edp, but I couldn’t as it just was lacking the sweetness for me.
Hanae Mori No 4 ticks all the boxes I have been looking for lately. Fruity gourmand, sweet & creamy with a hint of floral notes in the background.
A new favorite has been found, such a shame it’s another limited edition :'(

Back in 2011, I purchased a bottle of Hanae Mori No 4 because it resembled and reminded me of one of my all time favorites, Trish McEvoy 9 Blackberry & Vanilla Musk. I LOVED it, received compliments whenever I wore it, and I found I could transition this from day to night quite easily. I agree with the chart of the “similars” since I have at least half of them. I can’t comment on FlowerBomb as I’ve never had the opportunity to smell it.
When my husband went back to Macy’s in April 2012 to purchase another bottle for me for my birthday, he was told that it was a limited time release the year prior and they no longer sold it. The saleswoman directed him over to Trish McEvoy’s perfume area, indicating that her No.9 was very similar and perhaps I may like that….he was unaware that this was already a favorite so it was a great gift! ( especially because it came with a small bonus bottle of their new fragrance, Sexy, which is WONDERFUL for evening!!).
I’d recommend trying Trish’s out, the price point is about the same, however, I’d say that Trish’s No. 9 and Sexy have excellent staying power!!

I like this scent but this is very sweet to me so I wouldnt wear this as an everyday fragrance. I’m surprised that everyone thinks that this smells like flowerbomb because I dont think this smells like flowerbomb at all…

I am completely in love with this scent. As others have stated, it is a lot like flowerbomb. The difference is that this one is much fruitier. I like to wear flowerbomb during cooler weather; and this one is perfect for the beautiful sunny, spring weather right now. I think I could even wear it in the heat of summer. It is not as strong as flowerbomb; but on me, it lasts a good 6 hours. I held off on purchasing it because it’s an edt, but now I’m so glad I did. It’s quickly become one of my favorites.
leex2 – :
This is a lovely fragrance, especially for spring or summer. The dry down is berry on top, with floral below.
I don’t think I’m dying to own, but I would be satisfied to receive as a gift.
I have also tried Flowerbomb. I loved it as well and feel like Isabella211 that the fruit is the difference. I love both.
Sheff7321 – :
it’s true it smells almost exactly like Flowerbomb. The only real difference, that i detect anyhow, is No.4 is slightly fresher smelling, not as perfumey and musky as Flowerbomb. There seems to be more of a berry tone, which I like. I love Flowerbomb, especially in the colder months, so No.4 seems like a lighter alternative for summer. Both are just lovely, sweet and sensual.

Smelled this today at Nordstrom. Smells just like Viktor and Rolf’s Flowerbomb. Even the sales associate that was assisting me said, “Yeah, that’s the same thing I said when I smelled it”. I’ll have to spray it on my skin to give it a proper and more in depth review, though
