Hamsa by Celine Leora is an effervescent scent that is reminiscent of the European classic, Badedas shower gel. The soapy, green quality lends an alertness while the fruity sweetness blends with the smoky note of a tobacco quality lending a retiring sophistication. You will see hunter green and lush forests, hidden away coffee shops and secret places!

This scent is very shampoo like, but that doesn’t mean it’s bad. I actually quite enjoy it. It’s very fresh. It reminds me of a mixture of Burberry The Beat and the old formula Herbal Essences. The notes of frankincense and coffee do make it different from those two scents, though. I quite like this. I think I’ll all out buy it.

This is such a true to life shampoo scent that I feel as if I am sniffing straight from a shampoo bottle. It is not a skin chemistry thing cause I also sprayed on my shirt, it’s about perception. I do also get the apple, it smells a lot more like apple than blackcurrant, for sure. It has an overall aquatic vibe from the lotus but I can’t actually smell the lotus under the fruit. After the fruit fades the olibanum is more obvious, but at this point it is pretty weak. No coffee or incense here, it is very light and fresh. (I mean of course it is, this is shampoo in perfume form.) The real main accords are fruity aquatic, barely balsamic at all. I really wanted to like this but it’s just not my cup of tea.

Thank you to my swap partner for letting me try this fragrance.I am in total agreement in regards to the two above me comparing it to shampoo. I totally reminds me of the old Clairol Herbal Essence. I did not think of this until I read the above review.
This is very unique. I think I get what appears to be a green apple upon application. The apple note seems to begin fading leaving a trail of something soft, feminine with a mild spice note perhaps? I keep waiting for that coffee aroma but alas.. it never seems to appear.
This fragrance has a mysterious niche quality to it. If you enjoy a soapy scent I feel this is it. Very unique which I really love. It’s soft, not a silage monster. It does not seem to have a very long presence unfortunately.

I just received this in a blind swap (Thank you Luna Rebel!) I was very attracted to the notes but wasn’t so sure based on the reviews. Well it’s almost a win! Not a love but definitely a like. It opens easy enough with a bit of fruit. Then the olibanum and incense create an interesting balsamic take on what is typically fruity black current and fresh lotus. I also get a faint hint of coffee lingering in the background. I kinda wished it stayed there because, it goes on to become gentle and clean and a little soapy or shampoo-y in the dry down. Nice but that’s all.

I bought this perfume blindly for personal reasons only, I didn’t care about the notes or how much it was.
Firstly the bottle is absolutely gorgeous!
The notes on Fragrantica are as follows White Lotus, Frankincense, Black Currant and Coffee but I don’t get the coffee note at all!
The first spritz is confusing. There is a very odd indescribable note which I admit to finding a little off putting.
Thankfully this settles into a truly glorious juicy, berry type of fragrance with floral undertones. As the fragrance develops, the smell gets more intense, more beautiful and more unusual. This perfume is a masterpiece, is truly underrated and under marketed.
I spritzed liberally this morning and I can smell it on myself 6 hours later and its still going strong. This is not a massively projective type of perfume, it’s not a silage monster or a powerful fume, it’s just a very beautiful, subtle and delicate perfume which I admit to being utterly addicted to.
It was a double whammy making this purchase as I got the bottle I wanted but I actually love the fragrance inside it.
Great longevity, subtle silage and overall 10/10 for fabulosity.

Fragrância perfeita para o verão fresco, lembra noite de verão; arbustos do caminho perfumando o ar; não tem no entanto, pouco duradoura!!

Very pleasant when I first put it on, fresh and floral, with the distinct berry note. Unfortunately, the fragrance fades almost immediately. Several hours later, only a pleasant shampoo-like scent remains, and that only if I put my nose right on my wrist.

Opens up as sweet apple shampoo, a min later everything is gone, sweet light, not lasting, a waste.

This perfume sounds amazing. Can it be bought from shops too, or only online?

I’m not sure I’ve ever smelled a fragrance with Lotus as a note, much less the main note. And if I have, it wasn’t noticeable enough to point out. What I can say is, Lotus in Hamsa is gorgeous. I just bathed myself in Hamsa at my desk – that’s how much I love it. Good thing it’s not very powerful.
It’s a very fresh floral, very refreshing and uplifting, and I get a hint of orange peel (even though that’s not listed in the notes). It’s smooth, succulent and juicy, yet it remains light, airy and soft. It is NOT a fruity-floral, which makes me love it more. I also don’t get any coffee note, but I somehow feel that the coffee might have been used to keep it from being sharp.
This is perfect (and probably best) in summer, but nothing about it feels restricted to hot weather only. I can easily see this being an all-year wear. Longevity about 5 hours, projection soft.
Update 11/14/14: I just read some of the shampoo comments and I think it must be a body chemistry thing, which is totally normal. I truly get juicy, almost airy orange peel on my skin.

I could use some good luck right now, lol! This is very refreshing and calming and leaves a soft, pleasing trail of scent, whenever I move. I think this is going to be one of my most loved summer scents! On my skin, definitely the lotus and the black currant come out and there is something there to anchor them that I suspect is the coffee, yet my nose doesn’t pick up “coffee” but more “fresh”…sorry, that is the best way I can describe it. Like a coffee bean smiling at you, not a cup of fresh brewed coffee, if that makes sense. I still have yet to experience the smoke and incense, but that is okay. This is charming! Women can definitely wear this, and I think the coffee (elegant and understated) keeps it from becoming a tropical flower/fruit bomb so it is light enough that I think some men could wear this, too. Give it a try! Yes, the bottle is so beautiful to look at! If you look on the website, there are Hamsa candles available too.

It would be such a shame if it is to feminine to be unisex.. As a believer in the Malocchio (evil eye) I am familiar with this symbol! I am so interested!

Ok…..first of all this perfume is something pretty rare….the bottle is practicly fabulous, even the white plain box as something special on it… But the perfume is the true Géminis here…
Star whit a strong of flower and and fruits that become is just seconds a smell that you already smell everyday….but you dont’ know…..
