What a delicious smell this. A fruity opening with pineapple and citrus and then I smell the cocoa and aldehydes that give the fragrance a sweet gourmand feel. The drydown becomes more a floral scent which I get honeysuckle the most. I’m pleasantly surprised by the quality and special scents of KPP

I received my sample in the mail monday and wore it all day tuesday. It’s lovely! It would not have been my first choice judging by notes but I’m glad I had the chance to sample it. I had a few bad experiences with chocolate notes in some designer perfumes when I started my fragrant adventures so I’ve been avoiding them. (It reminds me of TM Angel but not as obnoxious) The cacao note in HC is beautiful, it smells like coco powder before you add the cream and sugar to make it edible. Robust, nutty, not gourmand imo.
The opening scared me a bit with the aldehydes and citrus, I thought it was going to be a “classic” scent but after a few mins it became more contemporary with a sweet bright green freesia. And a bit powdery and soapy.
The heart introduced the chocolate. The sweet flower from the opening becomes stronger and rose-like, gorgeous. The fruity green fades.
The drydown is a nice clean patchouli with hints of cacao and rose, very sexy.
This scent is perfectly unisex imo.

I smell rose -oud- patch combo, smell of oriental traditions, serious, more for men I think, closer to skin, good longevity, can smell it next morning. Thanks for the sample, I would like to try other ones too.
