I have a vintage French Fragrances formulation. Think of a combination of Green Water (latest version), vintage Liz Claiborne for Men, and vintage Eternity for Men. However, this one is lighter and has the best balance (which you may or may not like). The jasmine is obvious, in what I call the “suntan lotion” kind and it’s just a touch sweet. It may not have much of a “wow factor” to many people but since there are so few (if any) of these fairly complex, natural-smelling, well-balanced scents being released any more, the best response might be, “wow, it’s so comfortable and relaxing.” I don’t detect any calone but I’d guess there is a bit of a “fresh” aroma chemical used with discretion here. Though my bottle didn’t come with a cap, it looks green, not that light blue color you see in the picture above, which suggests to me a possible reformulation into more of a contemporary aquatic, based on some of the reviews below.
UPDATE: About seven hours after application (2 sprays to chest) and it’s still reasonably strong. Now I’d describe it as a light, fruity/green chypre. Very good for hot/humid weather.

Wore this tonight at dinner with my family at decent restaurant. Got some complements. It’s very manly and rugged, which matched what I was wearing ( a flannel and jeans ).

It’s kind of a fresh chiper. It’s got a very masculine kind of edge to it. You know and it’s a very rugged feel.

I picked this up as it was cheap and I’m a fan of Halston.
It opens with tropical fruit, wet and delicious. This quickly becomes aromatic and aldyhedic in the vein of Chrome or Escape. After that it settles to a fresh chypre woody scent and disappears in a matter of hours.
Due to it’s staying power and sillage I would not recommend this one. I feel Unbound is a better choice for freshness and longevity although it is less complex.

i love this stuff its so rugged and masculine and it may smell like everything else when it comes out of the bottle but it quickly has a unique vintage chypre feel to it that makes it more unique
definately a HOT buy

This is a crispy/aromatic/aquatic chypre, more for a young man.
The more proeminent notes are cypress, lemon, vetiver, cedar, geranium, musk and oakmoss.
The longevity between to 3 at 5 hour, acording with the temperature.
If you like Hugo Boss´s Hugo Spray, this frag is a good option.
