Description

Halloween Man is a new fragrance that appears on the market in 2012. It is announced as a very attractive fresh oriental fragrance with woody accents that will enchant you with its notes. A man who chooses this scent does not fall under stereotypes, does not follow the trends and is not afraid of anything.

“I am able to see the world from a different point of view. I know who I am, but I also know that I can be someone else. Sometimes I do not understand myself, but I like myself. I do not fit into any stereotype. I fear nothing… except myself sometimes. BEWARE OF YOURSELF.”

“Night has its own scent. Can you smell it? It is a second skin. Or is it the first? Apple Martini comes out followed by an aphrodisiac ginger heart, finishing with sexy leather. No, do not open your eyes, yet. The night also conceals deeper aromas of musks, woods and cinnamon.”

Halloween Man present accords of apple martini, violet leaf, green basil and mandarin at the top. The heart shares aphrodisiac notes of ginger, cinnamon, lavender and Tunisian orange blossom, while the base features sexy leather accords, musk, gray amber and vanilla.

Halloween Man fragrance is available in dark purple cylindrical glass bottle with silver colored stopper. The fragrance is available as 75 and 125 ml EDT. The advertising campaign is accompanied by slogan: BEWARE OF YOURSELF.

It smells like $1 Million clone. Its sweet, spice and vanilla a good fall scent.

This is definitely an overhyped fragrance! I bought this and quickly sold it. It’s being called a one million clone. I found that PR one million was a very sweet and somewhat cloying. I much much prefer one million. Prive it’s amazing the added tobacco note adds so much character to the one million DNA. As one million is very sweet I feel there’s more character and the notes are more noticeable. Halloween man is so so synthetic I actually really did not like this frag. It was overly sweet without the character and depth of one million. It’s a bit more linear. And in the dry down becomes even more sickly sweet reminiscent of syrop. A syropy thick over sweet cough medicine kinda vibe with a bit of grape lol . This one smells cheap. And no one around me seemed to appreciate this scent either. . It doesn’t stink but it’s definitely not what I wanna smell like.

The troll serje.allen is back on the site… after the admins blocked his last three accounts…
    Downvote him.
Not being mean…i just know his history and for others who remember him, this is a heads up.
“Sergie.Allen hated for being really annoying.

It has the same type of sweetness in JOOP pour homme , but it’s less louder and more acceptable.

I must have gotten a bad bottle because I blind bought this based on reviews here and what I recvd is water mixed equally with cheap grape soda and topped off with an eye dropper of raw gasoline. And after two minutes I had to press my nose into my wrist to get even that. Two hours later, I could still snort out some vaguely sweet something, but then it mercifully disappeared.

1 Million’s less obnoxious copy cat with candy berry dry down. I can see this being more unisex than for males specifically as it does smell pretty feminine. I’ll probably wear this very casually but outside of that I don’t really see myself buying a full bottle personally.

If you looking for a 1-million clone, this is a pretty cheap alternative. Smells like bubblegum to me but its a nice grape-candy with some juice inside. I do get some berry vibe but its more a candy-sweet than a blast of fruity. Good for colder climates, nothing too unique from this scent because of its intended purpose. I get 5-6 hours on my skin and less if its snowing.

Yes, take my words this is very very close to PB One Million, it is very distinctive that they have a lot in common! Very well recognizable fragrance in terms of popularity, but it can be pulled down for sure, since it is already liked by the females. There are fragrances that are much more unique in terms of smell, but for the price you cannot go wrong if you want to save a bit from your loved brick of gold. I think this one have its own place in the shelf and can be pulled only in night out casual events, clubs, discos, bars where you might want to be noticed by the opposite gender but nothing more than that!
Edit: Now its Fall and its the perfect time to wear this casually and believe me this fragrance work like a horse. Have the above average performance leaning towards awesome performance and it have its fans. I am telling you i have received quite a few positive comments about the smell! Even tough it is an old formulation and a clear clone of PB 1 Million…

  16. :

If you love 1 Million you’re gonna love this for sure. While not 100% spot on it’s damn close. Like 1 Million it’s a playful fragrance that would work well in the clubbing scene. It will generally gather support from the younger crowd, but I’m 46 and would wear it, as I wear 1 Million. I don’t believe in stereotypes and can make up my own mind. So sheeps and haters, look elsewhere.
It’s not as potent as what 1 Million was back in the day, but compared to current formulations it will stand beside it well. Want the same vibe at a fraction of the price? Then get on it!

One of the first blind buys I bought from reading these reviews. I totally found a winner here. I do see the resemblance to 1 million, as I have that as well, but this is a fantastic scent on its own. It doesn’t last as long as 1 million, nor does it project like a beast, but it does garner attention, certainly gets noticed. All positive feedback so far. I may have to buy another before the secret is out lol

  19. :

This cologne is a beast.. it smells borderline feminine like One Million but it’s somehow better in my opinion, it gets tons of compliments and don’t be afraid it over apply it, the only people who get gagged out by the intensity are old people

A recent purchase based on reviews. Yes One Million clone but I actually like this better. Yes synthetic but so is One Million. This has a slight powdery vibe but in a good way. Longevity is awesome. Not as good as the original one million but much better than current reformulated version. Does not have beast mode projection but does project 4-5 feet for first 2 hours. It does leave a great scent trail for about 3-4 hours. Skin scent after about 5-6 hours depending on your skin. Can still smell on my skin after 8-9 hours.
This has been reformulated. Purchase the one with the J/P logo on the top of the cap. I’ve have a 2013 bottle and sold a 2015 bottle. The 2013 was made by J Del Pozo the newer ones without logo on cap are not. The newer has less everything in terms of performance. Overall it is a really good fall/winter, early spring scent that gets compliments and is nice to smell.
I will buy another bottle to stock up.

I own this on a blind buy for $22 for a 125ml. It’s pretty similar to 1 million. Sweet, cinnamon, vanilla, synthetic. A party scent for younger guys.
It’s a bit less potent than 1 Million. Maybe even a bit more well-rounded…but neither is a smooth, well-structured scent.
Longevity was a bit below average (4-6 hours) on my skin with good projection for the first few hours. I was surprised at the longevity.
6.5/10 for me. For the price it beats out Ultra Male or 1 Million. So, if you don’t want to smell like Eros, Halloween Man could be a good substitute (without the longevity).

  23. :

    3 out of 5

If I had to go back to my late teens or early 20’s with my current knowledge, this would be one of the first fragrances I would buy. It is cheap, but it smells great and performs well. It definitely has a similar vibe to 1 million (not to be mistaken for being a clone or smelling just like it), however its not as “in your face.” This gives it some great versatility, as you can wear it to the clubs/bars, or even to class or work if you are a little lighter on the sprayer. If you like the JPG le male/ultra male, 1 million, Versace Eros types of scents, definitely grab a bottle of this stuff.

Amazing Quality Juice for the price it really reminds me of 212 Sexy mens Carolina Herrera and 212 Vip mens Carolina Herrera with some extra almost light menthol touch in the background along with its own originality of course. This is more like the older versions of both 212 sexy and 212 vip back when they were stronger, Don’t Trust or believe any hatred for this cologne I understand that this may not be someones favorite but
1.it’s price is amazing and cheap
    2.it’s great quality
    3.it smells sexy
4.it has great projection and longevity is about 5 hours
5.cheap enough for extra spritz to refresh
6.There will always be people who would rather down
something instead of realizing that they are really
going out of their way to mislead people into hating
actually really good fragrances , hate should be
reserved for extremely horrible fragrances not because
it doesn’t smell like some garbage that cost $600.00 a
    bottle.

    This is great…
    Everyone is different.
    Last about 6-9 hours.
You can smell it easy 6 feet away.
It’s a scent you spray on both waists, neck, and chest…
Four sprays all together no more.
This scent… you need to let it breathe and let it settle.
    That’s a must, it’s very strong.
You can wear this in the club and people would be noticed.
If you wear this on a date, give it an hour to dry down…Once that happens your safe.
It’s a beast, spray it more than four times…you’re entering beast mode.
Great buy 4.2 Oz for $22.00 bucks.
This scent along with Individuel Montblanc, Encre Noire by Lalique, F by Ferragamo Black Salvatore & Club de Nuit Intense. All $25 bucks or less for 3.4oz or 4.2 oz bottles.
All great scents that are underrated, selling for a surprising unbloated price.
    Can’t go wrong.

i own this frag. two words……no three words……BEAST MODE…..INEXPENSIVE……. very synthetic yes. but i paid less than 30 for this and performs better than niche frags and it reminds me of a deep fall winters day. the opening is mad strong and it may knock you out if you go more than 2 squirts. cinamon berries and sweet amber and cinnamon. for the price this is a steal but if you don’t like one million….or 212 or any other sweet spicy young powerhouse scents then pass on this but for me i don’t mind it for the price and the performance.

this is so synthetic that it caused me to have a headache, its one of the few fragrances i ended up returning ever since i got in the fragrance game.. to compare this to 1 Million is an insult to 1 Million.. sure lots of people hate 1 Million, but at least it is done a lot better than this..

  31. :

    5 out of 5

I used to wear this scent on days when I wanted the 1 Million smell, without quite as much attention from the sweetness, and yet I was in too good of a mood or dressed too nicely to wear my cheaper “comfy” fragrances. In other words, it had a home in the “1 Million-esque” section of my cologne shelf.
Unfortunately, after wearing this scent more, I too came to the conclusion that it was just too synthetic (kind of made me queasy a couple times I wore it) so I had to sell it.
If you’re looking for a better clone of 1 Million that’s similar to this but more natural smelling and easier on the senses, try Armaf Tag-Him Prestige, it’s much better. It smells like 1 Million’s dry down but it’s deeper and more complex. I highly recommend it!

    Senteur : 10/10
    Longévité : 9/10
    Sillage : 8/10
    Général : 9/10

Yip, it shares that opening blast of 212 VIP but where 212 smells like straight rubbing alcohol, Halloween Man adds a little more pop (mostly bubblegum) which is reminiscent of the dry down 1 Million has (which is around the 24 hour mark lol). Pretty synthetic fragrance that can easily give you a headache but there’s great value in Halloween Man, cause it lasts forever.

  35. :

This is awesome juice. It is 1 million like .. But its better in my opinion. And the price is unreal for such quality stuff. If you like 1 million and you dont want to pay that price. This is a gold mine.

  36. :

    4 out of 5

I did not like this fragrance at first since it’s opening gave me a strong headache. Several months later I’m testing it again and I’m surprised by the quality of this juice. Yes, it does remind me of Paco Rabanne’s One Million, but this one seems to be more balanced. Although it’s a mainly sweet fragrance i can pick up most of the notes listed here on fragrantica: the cinnamon, the vanilla, the leather, the amber… even the lavender.
Overall adjectives to describe this fragrance: sweet, synthetic, youthful, sexy.
For the smell i’d say that this one’s a little bit more versatile than One Million, but i still find the projection to be too loudly for most occasions.
Nice sweet fragrance for clubbing or casual events. Good performance on those scenarios.

I bought this on eBay back in 2012 when it was very rare in the UK. With hindsight I wish I didn’t, it smells rich and fruity but a bit cheap. People say it’s a clone of PR One Million and it definitely is but the best way I can describe it is One Million if it was made by Joop. And I don’t mean that in a good way – very synthetic and the materials smell pretty cheap. Spend the extra 25% and get One Million.

  38. :

    3 out of 5

Yes it’ll remind you with the One Million, but more sweet, better in my point of view, Perfect for WINTER
Stays long, the silage is more than good

If you dont like one million, you will not like this… self included. Smells like cuba royal to me, which is only 10 bucks.

  41. :

    4 out of 5

It smell prety close to one million or carolna herrera 212 vip men, but a little bit different, is not a clone of any of the two perfumes previously mention, but lets be real. We are comparing halloween man with two more expensive fragances. So if you like te above mention fragances buy this one. because its inexpensive and achieves almost the same things that the other two more expensive ones. Last at least 6 hours and the big bottle is 125ml. You can ask for much more if you like this kind of scent.

  42. :

    5 out of 5

Sure this fragrance does resemble 1 million, but I do believe this one is so much better. This one is blended better, it’s not as bombastic as 1 million, and it just feels much more balanced. This one is also way cheaper as well which is always a good thing. Highly recommended!

  43. :

    4 out of 5

I own both Halloween and One Million. There is really slight similarity between them. I know they both share the cinnamon, mandarin, and leather notes, but that does not make them twins. This one has a hint of vanilla to the dry down. I personally prefer one million over this one. I did not like it but it is still one of the good colognes out there.

  44. :

    5 out of 5

Lets first talk about similarities…. Opening is similar with One Million (not same) and have few other similarities with 212 VIP, Joop Homme Wild etc. as for me these all belongs to same genre of colognes.
But trust me its totally distinct on its own and more for a romantic meet.. even for love and wild occasions. I wont recommend it to worn at crowded parties.
Great Silage and Longevity. A must to own… you wont listen many people know about it!

  45. :

    EXTRAORDINARY – LONG LASTING

  46. :

    4 out of 5

A less synthetic but more refine alternative to 1 Million… I must be honest, I’m not a fan of 1 Million but really appreciate the craftsmanship put into it so to have an alternative that is less synthetic is absolutely amazing. And I must point out that this fragrance has better longevity too… I sprayed a single shot to the hand at around 10:00pm yesterday and I was baffled when I got a whiff of it just a few minutes ago and when I sniffed my hand, its still there (very close to the skin though) and this is about 1:40pm the following day and I took a bath with a scented shower gel.

  47. :

    4 out of 5

This is one of the hard to describe fragrances.
The smell is spicy herbal with some mystery.
    Starts strong & lasts long.
    A very beautiful casual wear.
After a few hours it ends up smelling like spicy vanilla with a hint of leather, disappointingly exactly like 1 Million.
Halloween Man has more depth, more character to it than 1 Million.
Personally, as a not-too-big-of-a-fan of 1 Million, I’d definitely choose Halloween Man over 1 Million 10 out of 10 times.
Not a bad fragrance at all.

  48. :

    3 out of 5

This is how 1million should have been,
for me its an overall better fragrance
longevity and projection is about the same as 1 million
but it’s less synthetic, bottle looks better and more attractive for me…
    worth the money.

This cologne is so great! Went to Walgreens one day a few weeks ago. This young girl was doing a promotion for “Halloween man-Rock on”I took a sample of that and loved it. The following day i tried it again and realized it smelled just like abercrombie’s “Fierce”…. so i ended up not buying it since I already have Fierce. I then tried a small sample of the original “Halloween man” she had given me and was really surprised by it. It’s fresh, but sweet at the same time. Kinda citrusy. Bought a bottle that same day! Wore it to work. Got about 3 compliments from different girls. One was from my supervisor as I walked in. The fragrance is sweet and it smells alot like that old school pink bubble gum, but it’s so good. And the girls love it. I was pleasantly surprised. Give it a try! Definitely a keeper.

  50. :

I love this,1 Million and Ab Spirit Millionaire. Throw in Diesel Spirit as well. I prefer the Diesel as it is straight up amber and cinnamon with no leather. Halloween is a solid fragrance on it’s own even though silage is not as great as some of the others mentioned. It’s a good playful, night scent for the times that you don’t want to put on a serious frag. This should not be used on a daily basis but on occasions as mentioned.

  51. :

    5 out of 5

Halloween Man is its own fragrance, although it does contain elements that make it blend in with modern popular, spiced-sweet frags on the market. The easiest comparison to be found would be with the infamous 1 Million. But it is similar- not an exact ripoff. The first minutes certainly DO smell like 1 Million, side by side, with almost no difference. I should know- I tried. Halloween then dries into, at least to my nose, a spicy bubblebath fluid. You know, for kids. It’s a very clean smell (obviously). It projects average on my skin, and lasts just as long as Paco Rabanne’s primary association. I do recommend Halloween Man, although it’s not high on the list. That’s not to say it’s inferior, it just doesn’t overwhelmingly impress me.

    sillage very good
    Longevity very long lasting

I bought these based on the reviews I’ve read here and the fact that I like One Million, but every guy wears it where I live in England when in clubs etc.
Let me first say, I dig One Million – regardless of the stigma attached to it. I think if it was a fragrance by Dior and in a classy bottle with a high price tag on it. People would love it. It’s a dislike by association fragrance.
That being said, I got my 125ml bottle of Halloween Man for £26.50. It was a blind buy. I was hoping it would be similar to One Million and a bit better even. On first spray, I have to admit I got the 1 Million plasticy, rubbery metallic bubblegum vibe. Which quickly dissipated after about 3-5 minutes. What I was left with was a warm, powdery, sort of lighter version of than 1 Million. However, as for comparing it to 1 Million… It’s not too similar the longer you wear it. I get a strong apple note in this, which is perfect as apple is my favourite note in fragrance. It’s a fragrance that does many jobs… It can be compared to 1 Million, Mont Blanc Legend Intense, Individuel, CH VIP and even CH Sexy Men. In my opinion, it’s like a mix of all these fragrances and still stands on it’s own.
It’s got a sort of powdery, metallic, apple, sexy vibe. The sillage is fantastic. I sprayed it on a friend to get their thoughts, they loved it… I could smell it on them afterwards as they past by me. But in the best way – it was a beautiful subtle yet present trail. Not a bubble or invasive cloud…
Projection is great for first few hours and longevity is about 6-8 hours on me.
Complements? I always get complimented when I wear fragrance with apple notes in. No idea why. This was no exception. On first wearing I had a women tell me “You smell amaaaaazing… I have a cold and I can still smell how good you smell, what is it?”. Another woman told me that “Can I just say your fragrance is making me go weak at the knees”. Another asked if I could come back so she could get “a whiff of that beautiful smell you have on”. These compliments were the first two days I wore the fragrance. It’s a winner for me.
The bang for your book is incredible. As for the “apple martini” note. I can smell it quite prominently. I’m not too sure the name Halloween Man matches the fragrance or the colour of the bottle. That being said the bottle is sexy and youthful. Sprayer is one of my favourites, the mist is wide and evenly distributed. Cap fits tight and the weight of the bottle is hefty.
I’ve long been looking for a super sexy, alluring scent that I love. I think I may of found it. Definitely check this out. It’s great juice regardless of the low cost.
    Score.
    8.7/10
    Update:
Owned this for 2 weeks now and worn it on many occasions. There’s a lot of depth to it, it smells different everytime I wear it. The apple in this fragrance is beautiful and delicate. On the dry down it reminds me massively of Thierry Mugler’s Alien Essence Absolue mixed with Hugo Boss’s Boss Bottled. Combine those two fragrances, tone it down a couple of notches and make it powdery. That’s Halloween Man.

  54. :

Certainly not for me, it is simply a bit cloying and a bit too strong to my nose in the first 2 hours…possibly good for a night out, clubbing or so on….not for the office I believe, romance or intimacy at least you spray it 2 hours before..anyway…you can always control the sprays…

Halloween man is warm, complex, and pleasing to women. A very nice departure from those sharp, “aqua” colognes. I bought this for my boyfriend as a birthday gift because he was born on Halloween. I like it so much, I’ve dabbed it on myself so I could sniff throughout the day.

Unfortunate attempt to try to copy PR 1 Million. This is so cheap and so synthetic that it makes 1 Million not look synthetic in comparison. 1 million is so much more quality than this that it shouldnt even be put in the same class. All I got from this was bubble gum just a lot of bubble gum for about 4-5 hours and than its gone, so it does have medium sillage. But it is just gross I wore it to work today to try it out and I actually got a headache after about an hour. I got this and Quasar as blind buys from this designer and both were huge dissapointments, trust me skip this, and just add 20$ to this price and buy 1 Million you can not go wrong. This smells like a 5-10$ scent, all the ads and intriguing bottles in the world couldnt help sell this, it is just a shame that it is even produced.

This is what I smell in no particular order: frankincense, anise, tobacco leaf, water accord (syn), cassis, green apple (syn), tonka/coumarin, mint, lavender, ginger, Ceylon cinnamon, oakmoss (very-linear here- a synthesized or denatured form?), galbanum, clean musk, amber (labdanum/benzoin mix), rectified birch tar (not as complex as crude, which I prefer, but ah- IFRA), castoreum.
After the initial blast, ginger, green apple, cinnamon, frankincense, and the leather accord dominate. I’m a bit disturbed by the watery/ozonic note gliding along underneath- it lubricates and cools when I would prefer things to stay a bit warmer and drier. I suppose it was added to freshen the apple note, but I think this fragrance would do better if it was turned down more than a wee bit (especially as, in tandem with the white musk and fruity notes, it also keenly reminds me of “the B&B vibe”). But it’s an interesting take on a fruity oriental, with leather, gourmand and basic fougere elements included as well, giving a nod to 80’s powerhouses without venturing too far in that direction.
Overall, it’s a solidly-built, autumn-evening frag… yet it’s commercially and socially a “safe bet” (like a crowd-pleaser brought to a pot-luck dinner), bringing together recent (since the 90’s) trends in perfumery, marrying it with some classic elements which have been enjoying a revival of late, and unveiling something that maybe tries a bit-too-hard to please everyone by latching only halfway onto too-many trends, and therefore has only a smidgen of its own identity remaining. In short: it lacks a sharp focus and strong statement of its own.
However, the base seems to have been constructed independently of the mish-mash laid on top of it, giving the very-long drydown a unique, narcotic and sexy character. It is almost enough to fully-redeem the journey to that point.
For originality, I give it a 6.5/10 (I strongly “like” it).
    Longevity: 20+ hours
Sillage: heavy, 8-10′ even in 65F weather; after 6 hours it moves to moderate/soft where I find myself enjoying it most.

Goes on interestingly spicy, but on my skin there’s a nasty sour note that takes over for a while. Then it settles down to a very mild leather mixed with a cheap, synthetic note I smell way too often in modern perfumery.
    No. Scrub, scrub.

Nice one here. Starts with a huge apple martini and bubblegum blast…quickly dries down to something similar to Joop Homme (but less powdery). Good longevity but be careful with the number of sprays…

It smells like CH VIP Man. Inexpensive to boot.
    MY RATING: 9/10

Halloween Man is a very sweet and spicy perfume. Amber, cinnamon, ginger, basil, and vanilla are the primary players, while the leather and floral notes cheer on from the bench, still noticed. Every perfume store clerk would push this one on me. Initially, I felt it was too strong and was unattracted to it. When I gave it a chance on my skin, I grew to like it after a day. I didn’t know how I felt after an hour of wearing it; I just knew that I kept pulling my arm up to my nose to sniff. It had my attention. Eventually, it won me over.
For a big bottle, it is very inexpensive. Halloween Man is a strong scent, so don’t spray too much on. This fragrance receives a lot of hate on here, but I’ve found it to be well-liked among the non-Fragrantica folks out there. I’ve often been stopped and complimented while wearing this one. I don’t love it because I don’t think I can handle smelling like this everyday, but I do reach for it from time to time. On days when I like a sweet, spicy tone that lasts all day, I turn to Halloween Man.

Ordered this and not disappointed at all. Very diffrent then 1 Million sweeter with sparkling fruity apple note. Longevity and sillage is not a problem at all with this one….
    Love It !

I ordered this online and was disappointed. It has a nice smell after awhile, but gives me a killer headache regardless :/ It is very strong. Just one squirt gave me a headache from hell. I can normally handle scents without getting headaches. The only two that have affected me badly are this and the candy apple body spray from Bath and Body works. Maybe has something to do with the cinnamon vibes? Not entirely sure. Either way, smells very manly and way too overpowering at first, but then it dies down to an almost womanly fragrance. I’d enjoy it if n
