Description

The perfume which follows the Guess fragrances trend starts of with strong accords of citruses: bergamot, mandarin and pineapple, cheering and refreshing all the way to the heart of intensively spiced sage, nutmeg and lavender. Masculine notes of suede, Peru balm, warm and milky sandalwood, mahogany and vetiver, give this fragrance a warm sensuous trail. It’s available as 50 and 75 ml EDT. Ellen A. Molner from the house of Givaudan created it in 2007. The nose behind this fragrance is Ellen Molner.

Had it twice and enjoyed it each time…FCUK 3 is a copy of this and if you can’t find suede, look for it!

Bought this in a department store in the Philippines back in 2009. I smelled a bunch of colognes and this one stood out to me at the time. I get a slight tropical vibe from it, kinda like coconut or pina colada. These are not listed notes, but that’s what I take away from it. This is a nice scent that’s way under the radar. I definitely enjoy having it in my collection and I definitely wear it from time to time.

Edit due to the fact that I hated my own review.
This is ok, simply a sweet, synthetic smelling fragrance. I used to combine this with D&G pour homme. Combined it is great, on it’s own not so much.
It starts of verrrry sweet. Then as it settles you get this almost raspberry smell to it, mixed with a VERY synthetic suede accord that almost gives me a headache.
Not horrible by any means but definitely more of a “starter” fragrance. For those more advanced noses I say stay away.
    Scent 5.5/10
    Longevity 7/10
    Silage 6.5/10

It smell candy…anyone else get this? A sweet suède scent, mayble a little wood, that is all i get from it. Not a bad scent, but not a very good one. Can be very versatil, anyway it stay close to skin and have a weak longevity so it won t be a trouble here… I see myself wearing it at a children birthday or something like this. It remind me something funny, like the scent of a clown or something like that. The bottle design is outstanding. It make a good décoration for your room office. So, let s go for the funny score:
    Scent: 6,5/10, average scent.
Longevity: 2,5/5 i get 3-4 hours with it.
Projection: 2,5/5, mayble a little more than close to skin, but do not last long…
Versatility: 3,5/5, good for most occasion, but wouln t put it for night out because of it weak projection and longevity.
    Overall: 15/25, something to try.

Guess Suede is very alluring and very seductive. Guess suede is a nice oriental fragrance with woody spicy feel to it once it dries. Perfect for fall/winter days and nights. This frag is underrated and hard to find, Its not easily seen like Guess Man and Marciano. I got this @ Hudsons Treasure Hunt 70% off for like 15 bucks 2.5 oz last bottle had to jump on it. Very nice very rare

My day started with the compliment – Guess what I was weraing. Yes, it was Suede. Soft as an underbelly
of a kid, ; whispery, and creamy, with distant murmur of citrusy woods. Scent of a guy wearing friendly attitude towards the world, and…himself.

This one is not so bad,but no so good also, its a fresh fragance, but i think it smells very commercial, this fragance is typical of the fragances of this decade, fresh citrus and plastic, not very original scent……..

at first i did not like the fragrance, and found it very exquisite unconventional. After a while i say. is very different and that different appeals to me.

    Notes / scent: 4
    Longevity / sillage: 3.5
    Overall / subjective feelings: 4
Description: mixture of resin and suede
Short opinion: I like the smell. Apparently not very original and a bit synthetic, but it has something hard to define but seductive. Maybe, it should be a bit more long lasting…

I had my reservations about Guess Suede! Thank goodness I was not let down. That badly… Guess Suede seems promising from the bottle The initial blast is of fruits, woods, & suede! Im thinking to myself what a lovely combination here.. However I got this burst of suede into my nostrils which was almost to the point of being overbearing & I said good grief!!!! This stuff is POTENT! I like the structure of this cologne because the suede is there from beginning to end. If it were not for the suede, this would not b such a good frag. Mind you I dont care for suede in fragrances but it works here. More better than Guess Man, its still lacking something, altho longevity is good, 6+ hours I will go neutral here as this is not a bad scent!

This has a warm, rich, fruity start, which is as others have mentioned, slightly synthetic. Once the fruits have begun to fade the spices and woods are at their best. It reminds me a bit of Xeryus Rouge or perhaps Dunhill Desire for Men, though has nowhere near as good sillage and longevity of either. All in all it is a pleasant fragrance and can be bought cheaply.

I find it too generic to be taken seriously. It smells very similar to euphoria

This smells like Kid’s Shampoo to me. Cloyingly sweet and synthetic.

I have been wearing Guess Suede for a year now and it is still interesting from top note to base note. The sensual lavender spice and woodsy notes of sandalwood and mahgony really break through. For a lover of Woodsy vetiver scents I really enjoy this fragrance through the cold weather months. Overall, a must try at 7/10 rating.

    Hmmm
I tried Dsquared2 He Wood the other day. I liked the opening notes… disliked the base notes… wished the tops were the base…
But you know want? Guess Suede’s base notes are very similar to He Wood’s top! Very nice. Ozony.
    I like it… but I don’t if it fits me. Maybe i’ll buy it…

Guess Suede is a uniquely modern fragrance that captures masculine, rugged edge. Its combination of fresh citrus notes, contrasted against a warm mosaic of rich woods is the perfect blend for the trend-setting man.

I thought this one seemed A LOT like Calvin Klein’s Euphoria Intense for men. Even its drydown seemed to go through similar stages. This cologne lasted on me for well over 7 hours (soften a little over that time, but clearly still hanging in there). The jury is still out on it, I’m trying Calvin Klein Euphoria Intense to see which I like better (or where the difference comes in).

I just bought this one, blind purchase, and I’m glad I did. Guess Suede is a soft and sexy scent. Any citrus or fruit in the opening is fleeting, gone in minutes. What comes through is a sensual spicy lavender accord for about 30 minutes, then some woods start to come through. The dry down is mostly woods and sandalwood, and a light suede accord.
It’s a little bit similar to 212 Sexy Men, but where 212 SM has flowers, Guess Suede has spices. It could be stronger and longer lasting, I would love to project this scent. It has close sillage and below average longevity, it’s quite subtle. Warm, romantic, intimate… designer style. Night-time wear for me.
