Description
Gucci presents two new limited editions of Gucci Guilty (2010) and Gucci Guilty Pour Homme (2011) fragrances. Gucci Guilty Platinum Editions are available from September 2016 in metal bottles redesigned so that instead of gold and metallic gray they are colored in platinum, featuring glass windows with an interlocking G. Apparently, the inspiration comes from the urban and romantic universe of the creative director of the house, Alessandro Michele.
Gucci Guilty Platinum Edition retains the original floral and spicy composition. The top notes include geranium and pink pepper. The heart contains lilac and peach. The base includes amber and patchouli. The fragrance is available as a 50 and 75 ml Eau de Toilette.

This was actually an erroneous buy for me. I card-tested it and it smelled more woody and spicy than floral, and I was trying to find something different. However when I got home and actually started using the bottle it was a lot more floral than expected. I guess it’s with how they stored it in the shop (on a heat-emitting spotlight with no cap). I’m not particularly fond of it but I do use it when I wanna a spicy feminine edge, something between my Chloe Love Story and Samsara.

I have original Guilty and wouldn’t mind having this one as well. Compared to original, this is less juicy (sexy) and more “clinical” smell what makes him perfect for humid and hot days, as well as formal occasions. It is clean and tidy with some “guilty” dancing on the edge of getting too sexy for every day use.
