The original Gucci Bloom was admittedly a bit of a let-down for me, but I am pleased to see it selling so well. Gucci Bloom’s popularity, however, has spawned two flankers that I actually prefer more than the original.
Gucci Bloom Nettare Di Fiori is the latest flanker to hit the market and I have enjoyed sampling this fragrance on numerous occasions this Spring. It’s a very pleasant, mentholated tuberose on my skin, with added notes of osmanthus, jasmine, honeysuckle and white musk.
Gucci Bloom Nettare Di Fiori is a tuberose fragrance for those that don’t like heavy tuberose scents. There’s a huge difference between Robert Piguet’s Fracas and Gucci Bloom Nettare Di Fiori. Fracas is a powerhouse tuberose for the daring woman, whereas Gucci Bloom Nettare Di Fiori is more generic and office-appropriate. It’s not designed to knock people out with its presence.
Some may consider this flanker boring and may even prefer the much stronger and more creamy original. I, however, personally favour this fragrance for its delicacy and inoffensive approach. During Australia’s warm Spring seasons I don’t enjoy wearing heady white florals, so fragrances like Gucci Bloom Nettare Di Fiori fulfil my white floral cravings without giving me a migraine in the process.
For such soft projection, Gucci Bloom Nettare Di Fiori lasts surprisingly well. I do sincerely hope that these flankers will last as long as the original on the shelves and will not become short-lived limited editions.

As other reviewers have said below, this flanker Nettare di Fiori is very similar to the original Gucci Bloom. Yes, there are some subtle differences between them (this one is a bit greener, with a nice addition of a fresh ginger note); however, if you already have the original Bloom, then this one is totally redundant, for it doesn’t really bring anything new to the table (unlike the flanker released last year, Acqua di Fiori, which is considerably different from its pilar fragrance).

It’s mostly white floral, but in a mild way. Not too harsh. Tuberose is the main note.
It’s powdery and sensual.
I think it’s very suitable for autumn.

This is amazing! Modern, feminine and elegant. I get a very sensual white floral bouquet, creamy and luminous, a bit dusty and just a little bit spicy. This is the best from this line. And it lasts and lasts and lasts!
It gets a 10/10 from me. It is a must try for white floral fans.

I’d be interested to wear this with a body lotion as, by itself, it does not seem to last all that long which is very upsetting because it’s incredibly beautiful. This entire line has just been home run after home run and I really enjoy liking things put out by Gucci.
This truly is a woody, musky and more floral version of the original with an increased amount of jasmine and the addition of a lovely rose. A but spicy from the ginger which is preferable to Twilly. The tuberose is less pronounced, although still clearly there. It lasts around 3 hours on my skin which isn’t horrible but it isn’t exactly intense either. Lovely for Spring & Summer. Would wilt in the cooler months, sadly.

i love this new bloom addition………i actually thought i wouldnt like it cuz i figured it would be a strong rose scent with spicy ginger overtones lol (not a good mix to me lol ) but boy was i wrong…….on me its mostly tuberose & jasmine & a wonderful creamy soft dry down…….its a beautiful fragrance !!! it just goes to show reading the ingredients can be deceiving lol but maybe on some people they may smell rose but i didnt notice it
i would say its a soft sensual romantic perfume………its the night side of bloom – nettare is a perfect word for this perfume – nector of the flower…….flowers liquid perfume 🙂 i also love the original bloom too 🙂 ordered the aqua version – i hope thats a winner too lol 🙂

The ginger is not particularly strong in this; it smells very much like the original Bloom to me. Nicely blended but quite dull. Sillage and longevity are poor-to-middling, even in hot weather.

Smells like the original Gucci Bloom. A bit deeper, a bit greener. A good addition to the line. Pleasant.

العطر جميل ..لكن لو امتلكت الاصدار الاول فلا حاجة لك لاقتناء هذا.. لا افهم حقيقة لماذا يتم إصدار فلانكر مطابق للاصلي؟

I liked the original Bloom and was looking forward to its “heady” sister. Tried it yesterday and unfortunately it was a disappointment for me. I could not smell pretty much any tuberose or jasmine or honeysuckle because ginger is absolutely overpowering everything on my skin. I used to have Jo Malone limited edition Ginger Biscuit fragrance and this new Bloom is practically a dupe. Very one dimensional on me. And funnily enough rather long lasting when you do not want it! I still could smell it on my hair this morning. So I am back to original Bloom… I love my flowers:)

Longevity is extremely poor. Brought it back. Disappointed.

This is the ginger infused fragrance of the season that I’m waiting for. I tested Hermès Twilly d’Hermès and was not impressed, but we are not focussing on that fact here. In Bloom Nettare di Fiori, prominent honey suckle and supportive jasmine work well together as a great introduction to ease in a gently spicy veil of ginger over tuberose. I detected a softly sweet osmanthus, and smooth musk in the dry down. Patchouli was so quiet and just added a touch of minty freshness in the background.
I like Bloom but found the “woody jasmine” there a little “sharp” and the whole composition is a little “greener” than Bloom Nettare. So instead of having a green and crisp vibe, you will have a spicy and fresh vibe here. Ginger note is just enough as an extra “kick” to add onto the sweetness of the flowers and not at all “bitter” or overwhelming. It also tamed down the patchouli I think. All the notes work cohesively with each other in a smooth harmony. If I have not had Bloom, I would just get this one and be set. Since I got Bloom at a fraction of the price, I have no regret in that regard. But I definitely will add Bloom Nettare di Fiori to my collection.
Such a pleasantly unexpected ginger frag, and nicely done just like Dior Poison Girl Unexpected that I love. It should be named “Bloom Unexpected” 🙂 I enjoy this one a lot, especially with a little heat.

First impression: seems nearly identical to the original Bloom, but with a soft ginger note hovering above it. I dislike patchouli and I did not notice it in this version.
I dislike the original Bloom and this flanker because I worked at a lab for a number of years and the gardenia/ tuberose impression in these fragrances smells identical to some esters we used there (Methyl Anthranilate, among others). Please note that they are perfectly pleasant scents and there is nothing wrong with them. It’s just that, to me, they resemble some of the chemical fumes I’ve encountered in the past. The Acqua di Fiori flanker, on the other hand, is completely different. I find it divine and wear it often.

I will be getting this one.. smells very sensual a must have..
