I don’t like to talk about essences compositions, I prefer talk about sensations: I sense this fragrance like pure velvet, but that impression you feel when you seat down on an old velvet sofa, accompanied of the impressions of the old wood it is also made. Or inside to an old velvet jacket. Is the same feeling I have with Habit Rouge de Guerlain (that is the “signature” of another close friend and I can not dare to wear it), I can’t say they are so similar, but maybe in a remote way they are so. It is a bit vintage, it’s remind me Jicky maybe, I can’t say. HEDO’ is the diminutive of HEDONIST, and like Jicky is though to be the essence of a dandy, with successful. But this fragrance is not so vintage, as it seems, it’s modern, young, and definitly misunderstood and underestimated.
A rare black pearl into a velvet box.
To reach this perfume I had to fight against a lot of prejudices.
First, was the fragrance of a my close friend and house mate. And I hate to wear the same perfume of a friend of mine. To me it’s like to go in bed with his mate. Well.. Can happen, but it’s so rude. You’re justified just if you fall in love with that (him, her). And I am and still in love with Hedò. And my friend didn’t love it so much, luckily.
Second, I’m too sensitive for wear a fragrance signed by an underwear company.
Third, I don’t usually like now-days compositions. I prefer 80s or 20s scents (but about it I do many exceptions).
