It has that really pleasant and comforting smell great for winter months. The dry down is wonderful. If you’re wondering what it smells like then I would say La Nuit de l `Homme by Yves Saint Laurent.
Smell: 7/10
Performance: 6/10

Greetings everyone,
A while ago I have decided to try one of La Rive fragrances. There was plenty to chose in the supermarket for around 5-6 Eur.
It is very generic fragrance. The beginning is promising with hints of pepper vanilla, yet later it is reduced to smokey vanilla sandalwood chemical soup. Very boring and nauseating. Regarding its potency it is on the weaker side.
from what I have seen La Rive are making a lot of cheap dupes these days. They offer a lot of watered-down frags, that are very generic and very synthetic. There are some exceptions though, as clearly they are unable to fully mimic some of the more complex scents.
Only very few scents that La Rive offer are actually worth looking into. Among these I would recommend looking into Le Male and One Million clones that they have. Sweet scents are easier to mimic, therefore there is a greater chance of success in this case. They also have a clone of T. Hermes which according to forums is promising.
To get back to the point, I had to stop using this frag because it was too irritating from me. I gave it my dad, and he used it as an aftershave.
I mean its not terrible, you cannot expect huge quality from something around 6-7 EUR, but this scent is not worth it.
I give it 5/10 In Cheapie category. I did not like the drydown and synthetic feeling to it. It is promising frag, but there is a feeling of chemical mess.
