A very nice woody citrus fragrance.
After swiping, I get a very nice fresh lime note. After a short while, a woodsy cedar note with musty overtones presents itself. This effect reminds me of how the lime plays out on your skin when first spraying on Siberian Musk. As the lime note diminishes, the sandalwood becomes more noticeable by the creamy note. At this point, Green Velvet becomes a creamy musty wood fragrance with lime undertones – the lime is now complimenting the wood notes.
Not being an offensive or overbearing fragrance, Green Velvet could easily be worn for work or play. Projection is about an arms length.
Perfect for the Summer months – even those hot days.
Recommended.

Thank you to Rising Phoenix Perfumery for the opportunity to try this amazing scent. Green Velvet is truly a unisex fragrance and my husband and I have both been enjoying it.
Lime is noticeable for just a few minutes in the beginning. This fragrance is all about the basenotes, as its construction would suggest. And why not? Vetiver and sandalwood happen to be two of my all-time favorite notes, so I’m happy to cut to the chase here.
Cedarmoss adds a pleasant musty aroma and casts a vintage/barbershop shadow on the scent, but truly, this fragrance is dry, woody, warm and all about the interplay of sandalwood and vetiver. These two notes take turns dominating throughout the course of a day when I wear this scent.
This tiny bottle of intensely-colored golden juice with a slight green hue offers visual evidence of its potency. Without a doubt, this is one of the strongest, longest-lasting natural perfumes I’ve tried (and it outlasts a fair number of perfumes with aromachemicals, too). Two drops–one on the chest and one on the back of a wrist–are enough to scent you and the space within arm’s length of you for an entire day, 10+ hours. Apply more and you’ll likely overpower.
Overall, Green Velvet is a beautifully done natural perfume that is a must-try for sandalwood and vetiver fans.
