I had high hopes for this. I love the green tea yuzu , green tea mimosa, and the green tea bamboo but this one..? Not only is it repellent to my own nostrils, it doesn’t work with my body chemistry. For those of you who love this…. enjoy.
I had hopes that I could too.

I like it. It’s a green-purple fragrance if I had to describe it with colours. Suitable for spring and summer the most. Fig leaf, lemon, violet leaf, pistachio – these notes I can detect the most. Sillage is moderate. Fresh fragrance, kind of sharp. All in all, a good combo and a nice perfume but I don’t feel the need to buy it.

One of my favourite scents this summer. I don’t think it smells of figs much at all, and thank goodness it doesn’t have a lot of the original Green Tea scent in it either. It smells fresh and woody and slightly sweet at the same time, with hints of tea and bergamot. Like you just came out of the shower! You do have to reapply if you want people around you to be aware of it, but I can still smell it faintly on my skin after a good 3 hours.

This is definitely one of the best of the flankers…the fig comes out right away and it just smells good…

This is indeed sooo good. I’m not a fan of the Green tea line, but Cucumber and now this one are my favorites. It smells sweet, yet not cloying, very prominent fig and fig leaf with subtle tea note. So far it’s not very green or citrusy, I’ve been wearing it for an hour and it’s more of a woody fragrance. Today is very humid outside, however Green tea Fig performs great. A really lovely summer fragrance. Three sprays gave me a nice, moderate silage. As the whole scent calms down, I can definitely smell the pistachio note, it’s so yummy. What’s more, the current price is really ridiculous, so I’m seriously considering about purchasing a bottle.

I love fig as a note in perfumery. I’ve had Diptyque Philosykos for several years now, and it’s one of my summer staples. Naturally, I couldn’t resist sniffing EA Green Tea Fig. This is a very good fragrance for fig lovers on a tight budget. The smell of the actual fruit is reproduced very realistically, and the composition is complemented by the standard Green Tea fare of herbal, citric and musky notes. Just like the other scents from this line, Green Tea Fig requires frequent reapplication, because it quickly turns into a skin scent. It’s a nice refreshing summer fragrance.

To my nose, fig is prominent particularly in the top notes. It is not sweet. The tea provides some softening of the edges and bergamot (citrus) keeps it fresh. This is more woodsy and blended than say Body Shop’s Fig scent. EA Fig smells too masculine and herbal on my skin which is too bad as the C$40 sticker would have been good for the summer.
One spray on me:
Sillage: a little less than arm’s length
Longevity: about an hour then skin scent
Rating: 2/5

I’ve tried several fig fragrances and this one by far has the most realistic fig note in my opinion.
I also love tea fragrances, but honestly I was not very impressed with some of the Green Tea flankers (although I love the original one). I didn’t expect much from this one either, but I was so pleasantly surprised. It’s so good and lasts more than the other fragrances from the line. On my skin it starts with tea and fig leaf, which soon turns into juicy fig fruit. Then it slowly develops into a greener scent, but this tea/fig aura is still there.
I love it! I grabbed a bottle right away. Good job, Elizabeth Arden!

It’s a shower fresh, clean, calming, inoffensive herbal scent. I tried in hot weather and stayed fresh (without sweet undertone) and relativ longlasting (on clothes). This will be my summer everyday perfume soon!
GrinM – :
Very nice top notes, citrus, tea and fig. Later it is more herbal and green.

green tea fig
impressions:
juicy
leafy
bright
fruity
the scent of green fig once you bite into it. this goes more plant fresh once on for a few hours, tht initial top juicy note subsides. i get a nice whaft in the car from my arm.
there is an unusual note with the fruit element.
i cant smell the original and flankers in this (thanks goodness) i dislike them all – the sales girl sprayed this near me is why ive tried it.
green tea nectarine has a juicy brightness with greenness that this also has. different scents but for point of reference/comparison.
Maters – :
Very nice and realistically smelling fresh fig in the opening, real fruit, not candy or cocktail. Dries down to a recognizable Arden “green tea” base of tea, citrus and a bit powdery sweet.
UsaliwatKit – :
This one looks EXCELLENT. I’ll be trying it for sure.
SantaKlauS – :
The fig and pistachio combination looks yummy. I like the Green Tea series, and I like a fig note. I’d try this one for sure.

Yes, please!
Elizabeth Arden is a little late to the fig party, but this sounds intriguing. Fig is a favorite note of mine.
