Very much a lime scent. The lily is faint, not as strong I was hoping for, but accents the lime and obvious tea note beautifully. I chewed through my 100ml bottle super quickly since it’s impossible to overspray. It went everywhere: clothes, curtains, cushions, air and carpet. It was like being somewhere tropical with a cooling drink in your hand.
I’ve ordered samples of others in the Green Tea line and I am now eagerly awaiting them, but depending on how those go, perhaps this one will be a repurchase. I can see me enjoying this line immensely after the lovely experience with this one.

I find Green Tea Exotic to be very light, maybe the lightest feeling of all the flankers…the citrus gives it interest…very fresh and clean feeling…worth the $10 you can find this for…

Fragrance -Green Tea Exotic Elizabeth Arden
    Bottle from – 2016
Green Tea Exotic opens on my skin with a burst of fresh and sharp citruses with dominant lime laying on top of a clean and calming tea.
Soon enough, bouquet of flowers with dominant lily and with an astonishing touch of orchid starts to emerge and bring some tropical and exotic vibe into the game. This all leads into a woody, musky, ambery and floral base with a wisper of a bit green narcissus.
Green Tea Exotic is a fresh, soft, safe, green and floral fragrance and it is perfect for hot summer days.
    Longevity – 5/10(4-5 hours)
Silage/Projection – 4,5/10(moderate to soft projection for the first 1 hour, than sits closer to skin for the duration of the scent’s evolution)
Weather -Best in spring and summer
    Age – 18+
    Compliments – 7/10
    Scent – 6,5/10
Main notes according to me – lime, tea, lily, orchid, narcissus, bergamot.
The drydown is woody, ambery,a bit musky and floral and I get some -woodiness,ambrette and flowers.
    Emotions -fresh,calming,clean,pleasant,green,tropical,exotic.
Occasion -For more or less any ocasion when you just want to smell nice and clean.
Perfect for casual activities, college and office.

An update to my late-August review.
I do love the scent and wore it frequently until the weather started to turn cold, and I’ll be wearing it again when the temperature rises again in Spring, but it in no way resembles Libertine.
It turns out that when I reviewed it previously, I was one day from a full-blown sinus infection, so who knows what my nose was telling my brain.
    I apologise for the misinformation!

I bought several fragrances in the EA Green Tea line and ended up giving them away, save for the Green Tea Exotic. At some point, they all started to smell much too similar to each other.
If you’ve never used EA’s Green Tea line, I strongly recommend that you test the product before you purchase it. Buy a sample that allows you to see how it performs throughout the day, as these scents will not work for all body chemistries.
This scent is fresh, crisp, and affordable. Like others, I too detect the original Green Tea fragrance in this flanker.
Longevity is weak, lasting a maximum of 2-3 hours. You’d have to respray it, which I personally would never do, given how “loud” the initial blast is. During hot weather, your body chemistry will most certainly change the smell of the fragrance throughout the day, so a re-spray may not be pleasant. During the cooler months, a respray may work better.
The initial spray is quite loud/strong with the lime, bergamot, orchid, jasmine, and green tea being the prominent notes. The citrus and lovely amber are noticeable in the dry-down, which is pleasant, soft, and clean.
It’s perfect for the warmer months, especially summer. The heat will bring out the various notes a lot better than would be the case in cooler months.
This past summer (it’s Fall now), I found that this fragrance performed a lot better when sprayed only on my wrists and top. I sprayed it on my other pulse points and it ended up being too overwhelming/cloying for me.
It was cold outside today, given that it’s Fall weather. I used this fragrance and it was uplifting given the grey, rainy, gloomy weather. However, it’s so citrusy/floral, that I don’t see myself reaching for it again until the Spring/Summer of 2018.
I like this scent but I will not repurchase it once it’s done.

I just bought this today and am wearing it now. It reminds me very much of Libertine and I couldn’t be more pleased about it!
I was heart-broken that I found Libertine just after it was discontinued, and I’ve been looking for a replacement. It must be a combination of sweet florals and narcissus, bergamot, and amber; this is it!

Such a beautiful, clean, fresh fragrance. I get a lot of similarities to original Green Tea but the dry down is lovely, floral fresh, a bit soapy but that adds to the freshness. Perfect for use after a shower on a Summer day, light, airy and just lovely 🙂

Wow, sooo nice!! Shower-fresh and floral. Inoffensive light scent, can be worn anytime. The wood note is not detectible at all to me which is great.

So far one of my favourite fragrances from EA and that’s a surprise because I’m more into fruity and tart or gourmand perfumes… This smells like a fresh and lightly sweet (white) tea bag with a twist of a classic white floral perfume from Chanel, Burberry etc.
Opens up with a rich scent that remind me of cucumber mixed with lily of the valley or maybe white lily (which is listed). Not sure about the middle notes but the scent of the base notes are very beautiful and pleasant to scent on my skin: it’s like I described in the beginning; like a fresh and lightly sweet tea bag filled with some petals from lilies and some orchids.
    Can’t scent any amber note.
Since it’s fresh and smells like flowers, I’d prefer to scent it in warm weather.
Fits all occasions; parties, day and night, for school, work or any other casual or non casual day.
This lays in a cathegory which I don’t prefer but I’d definately wear it anyway and I really, really like it. It is also quite strong so one spray is enough – which is a great thing.
Not quite sure whether I should mark it with Love or Like… I’ve reflected on it a bit and some to the conclusion that it really doesn’t matter that much in this situation. Right now I Love it but I’d prefer it to smell more white tea and bergamott + maybe orchid and wood.
Although I got mine for a very good price (bought it on an airplane), I don’t think I’ll keep it… It’s a 100ml bottle and I’m sure it’ll take at least 30 years before it’s almost 3/4 empty. But I’ll definately purchase another if I find a smaller bottle.
I recommend this to those of you who usually enjoy fresh, floral and a little sweet perfumes.

Because I had no expectations whatsoever, I was blown away by the sheer simplicity of the smell. It does smell like a somewhat sheer citrus green tea with salty ice cubes.
I am VERY impressed with the longevity and sillage because it has been 8 hours since I sprayed it and it is still going strong. The beginning is more bitter as compared to the sweet end notes but no complains at all, specially at this price point!

Bought this today! I have been trying to get all of the green tea line-so I have the original, lotus, tropical, yuzu and now this. I find this similar to EA untold eau fraiche which is in my top.five all time favs! Its such a gorgeous light scent the only problem….its lack of longevity! I mean, most EDTs don’t have incredible power to them but this is just crazy! Being that it was only 20 bucks I don’t mind going crazy with it

I work at a beach/marina currently. At the marina, the office is no more than the size of a 2-car garage, filled with mainly men. It is an older “building” and has its own issues with poor smells – on any given day you are blown away with a fishy, musty, bodily-odored or soiled smell (emanating from a single bathroom supporting 15 different people in a paper-thin building). I am the only female in the building.
That being said, I wear this everyday. It is completely inoffensive in such a small proximity, and every single person in there loves it.
It is fresh and “green,” tropical without being fruity. It reminds me of tropical flowers. The white flowers are well-grounded in a very green way, not like any other heavy white floral fragrances. There is still an underlying green-tea note that keeps this fragrance from being too girly, although it is definitely NOT a unisex scent. Very pretty. It is for the cool, easy-going lady who can surrounded by men but still set herself apart as a woman.
First purchased this at a TJMaxx or a Marshalls, but loved it so much that I later purchased a full-sized bottle from Amazon. I keep one in my backpack to freshen up at work at any given time.
This is a completely safe blind-buy. But beyond safe, it is actually incredible. It is in my top 5 favorites. Fills a niche that needs to be filled in a lot of casual, outdoor environments.

This was pretty disappointing, I was expecting it to have the nice green tea scent that the original Green Tea has but with a nicer (exotic) twist, some tropical flowers or fruit perhaps, going by the hibiscus on the packaging, I was hoping it would smell like a beautiful fresh garden in Hawaii early in the morning but I didn’t get that at all, it was green, a bit citrusy but just masculine and smelled like alcohol. I was thinking of suggesting that my boyfriend use it but I can’t see him wanting to use a perfume with flowers on it. I keep looking at the other versions hoping to find something like what I had in mind but I haven’t so far.

This is a very transparent and green fragrance.
On my skin it smells mainly of green and black tea, a bit of bergamot and lime and loads of sandalwood 🙂 It’s really nice and it reminds me of a hand fan made of sandalwood which I once had. I really like it and it’s perfect for summer days! It smells luxurious and refreshing.

I don’t understand why people compare this fragrance to others which have different price (or can be said – have huge price range). Please compare it to the same level. Price never lie.
For me, I really like this perfume. It is affordable, only less than $16 I could enjoy the freshness of green tea & jasmine. It is my second green tea series after lotus. And I think I will add another green tea series on my collection!

Some perfumes start out nice, but then develop into something that makes you regret wearing it. This is one perfume with no regrets! It is beautiful from start to finish. Floral but not cloying; fresh, clean, and modern without being masculine; feminine without being sweet or bland. This is noticeable but gorgeous. This one gets compliments. Equal parts citrus and floral. Can be bought cheaply and is a great value. I give it a solid A.

I wasn’t expecting much from this tbh. I got a large 100ml bottle free in exchange for some points on a shopping loyalty card. Can’t be up to much were my thoughts! How wrong could I have been! This scent is lovely. I find it really refreshing and uplifting. Yes it actually lifts my mood. Perfect as an office scent or just around the house, shopping etc. I love to smell clean and this does just that. When the free bottle runs out I will definitely purchase another. All in all a great scent to have in a collection.

It is simmilar to Avon Treselle.

nice and fresh. Fortunatelly not too much green tea and not too much citrus, green and dry. There is nothing “exotic” about it. Reminds me (a little bit) of Chanel Chance, but since Chanel Chance was too strong and aggressive for me, surprisingly I like this cheap EdT much better. I got it for 10€ and I am happy with it.

This is a stronger more floral version of the main Green Tea perfume. It lasted longer than the original. It’s a keeper.

Very citrusy to me,lime and a little masculine at first whif.Yes i get a tinge of mint, nice for summer that is why i got it.watery fresh floral with lime, its nice and i’m glad i bought it.

In my opinion there is really nothing “exotic” about this fragrance. It is quite simple and one dimensional. I actually purchased this from Marshall’s for a good deal, but still ended up returning it knowing right away that I would never wear it again. I really wanted it to smell like chance eau fraiche, but sadly, it didn’t behave that way for me. It’s a plain Jane green tea scent with a hint of aquatic. Kinda flat, kinda boring. Tea, lily, slight citrus. Meh.

Just got this and geeez gosh golly! With the original you can smell the green tea. It’s nice but would be even better without the actual tea smell. This has no actual tea smell and all the other notes just glisten! Can’t find a teensy fault with this scent other than…it just doesn’t last for days at a time, and I want it to! I have a few scents like this, so perfect, you just gotta have em in your collection….well my collection. I was surprised to find the notes listed. Orchid is kinda sexy to me, this isn’t. Lime is a bit sharp, this isn’t. Tea smells like, tea! This doesn’t. This is an adult Tinkerbell scent. Perfectly innocent and charming. No vanilla, I LOVE that. This is light but still ideal for winter too, a doctor visit, dental appointment, church gathering, anytime you wish to feel wholesome and just pretty! Such a lovely flowery scent. This is so much more elegant than the original. Love this.
Note- I use this like a body spray. One spray for the back of my neck, couple under my shirt, wrists, and it lasts all day.

I thought it’s time for me to add Green Tea to my collection. So I choose this version of Green Tea, but I find it too floral. Lime is also quite strong so the green tea note doesn’t stand out at all. It does smell very floral aquatic to me than aromatic. Well, it is not the type of Green Tea I expect, so I decide I won’t be keeping this and continue my quest for “the Green Tea” for my collection.

Love all the green teas. This is not my favorite (Lotus is) but it is still very light and refreshing!!! I get a saltiness with this one that I don’t get with the others. Must be the lime and the orchid. Very nice!!! If you haven’t tried any of the green teas do yourself a favor and try at least one. They are amazing in the summer and a total bargain!!!

I love all green tea series by EA so I bought this, it was 4 months ago. First use I don’t like its smell coz I think it’s a man smell, too strong, no flower at all. But lately my sweat finally familiar with this scent, floral smell has appeared, it’s soooo fresh and soft. My boyfriend love so much this smell on me. I think I have to change my mind to give it away to my sister 😀

    Don´t underestimate this lovely fragrance!
I mainly bought it because it was on sale, it was a big bottle and I liked the box. I was looking for a light floral to wear at home. Something fresh and clean, nothing offensive and heavy.
Honestly, this smells like an expencive designer floral.
When I wear this, people tend to look around and search for the flower blossom that´s surrounding the air with it´s delicious scent 🙂 But it´s me! <3
IMO it is a fresh, clean floral scent. I also like the fact that it doesn´t have musk in it. The lack of musk makes it less heavy and keeps it fresh and clean smelling till the end. The green tea notes make it smell herbal and fresh, but it´s never too harsh or bitter. I guess it´s the sweet orchid which balances this out.
I wear it when I´m not in the mood for my sweet gourmand scents, when I want something more sophisticated and mature.
To me it smells like a flower garden after rain 🙂

Fresh, clean, feminine, easy to wear. It was a blind purchase and I was worry that it would smell cheap (because of the price tag) but what a pleasant surprise! It doesn’t smell cheap at all. Very nice and simple every day fragrance, good for spring and summer. I am wondering if it is very different from Green Tea Lotus? Is anyone own both of this fragrances or may be tested both of them and can tell how different they are, please?

LOVELY ….ABSOLUTELY LOVELY. i LOVEEEEEEEEEEEE this perfume. Its so fresh so clean …at the same time with the florals coming in its sooo yummy. so feminine.very nice to spritz after shower and on a hot day going out shopping. I live in a tropical country..so this is perfect. You have to try this if you love fresh clean scent and wanting a floral punch in it. I never tries the original green tea cause i found it tooo strong n overwhelming. But this i love. And the scent has a very good sillage. Definately will recommend it to anyone who loves floral scent. GORGEOUS. im so happy with this purchase,

Bit disappointed with this as I love the original Green Tea, but could barely smell Exotic when first sprayed it on (bought on the net so no preview) In fact, have struggled to describe the smell of this one, finding it so vague and underwhelming, a subtle floral smell but maybe just too subtle …

Green Tea Exotic opens with the burst of lime and the citrus tones of bergamont mingled with the smoky aroma of steeped tea. I found this Arden Green Tea version to be a more mature and complex formulation than the other Green Tea offerings. The heart of the fragrance sparkles with more tea, but tempered by the florals of lily, jasmine, and the headyness of orchid. The drydown of the fragrance is soft and sexy along with a hint of some sort of minty note. I really love this fragrance, I’m going to save it. It’s going to be a wonderful fragrance for spring!

Eventhough it starts with citrus notes extremely fresh, after a while surrounds you really sweet and womanish floral scent. This was the thing I liked with this edition of Green Tea, the original one is too much fresh for me. This one is absolutely a perfect summer scent including the summer nights.

  38. :

    5 out of 5

The lime is loud in this fragrance, but it works well with the green tea note. It’s so fresh and crisp. I like it, it’s definately a summer scent. Pour this all over you and have fun in hot days!
