This, to me, has the underlying vibe of freshly cut grass on a hot summer’s day. It smells of the outdoors in hot weather – possibly a woodland stroll in warm dappled sunlight as it filters through from the canopy above. I get a mix of citrus and tea, a dash of mint, and something herbally, which I think is the fennel. I also smell the spicy clove-like scent of carnations, and the warm earthiness of celery seeds. I definitely get the ozonic element too and, because of that, I think Green Tea is a very good ‘fresh from the shower’ scent. It does hold a certain warmth, which closely mimics clean warm skin fresh from bathing. It’s not quite as refreshing to me as scents like CK All, which I find to be cooler, brighter, and more open-airy, but this does have its own brand of freshness, which is very addictive in its own way. Easily a unisex scent. I love it.

There is something decidedly masculine about this, as in, I can imagine this being quite appealing on a man. I have been going to the bottle to smell it multiple times a day and it is growing on me. I generally do not like tea nor green tea scents but I wanted to try this because of the perfumer. It is quality and well-blended, it has that depth to it. I will add more to my review once I have worn it a few times to see how it wears on me personally. But these are my initial thoughts on it. I’m impressed!
Update: I get the fennel, celery seed, orange peel and rhubarb quite strongly. They add a blooming effect to the ‘green tea’. I love how complex this is – it’s beautiful. Its dry down has a citrus-tea scent, orange and lime more than lemon. And were it not for its name, I wouldn’t have picked green tea as its main essence. I am loving this.

    @lhm
The last four reviews you’ve written culminate in the same request to swap the perfume.
Under the circumstances, perhaps you should stop blind buying perfumes.
There’s a forum to use to swap your perfumes. This is the review page. Your comments are hardly helpful to other members (particularly as your comments about very different perfumes are pretty much identical).

The bottle: Too simple and plain.
    Inside the bottle:
Light, fresh, citrus are the words to describe this perfume. When sprayed you get a fresh scent of orange, lime and lemon mix along with tea and mint. When dried you get a hint of spice, jasmine and rhubarb. Longevity is sorta weak but because of how light the perfume is.Sillage is very light and stay close to the skin.
    Overall:
This perfume is perfect for someone who is in the workplace who wants a very light smell because the workplace does’t allow or someone might be sensitive to perfume this would be a great option.

Yes! I remember this scent very well growing up. It’s so familiar. It’s nice I finally got to smell it.
It’s interesting. Lemon Mint Tea leading to musk, gives an effect like wet hair after bathing (with shampoo traces) skin + wet soil like gardening. Smells like humidity of shower water, and somethin grassy.
‘Out of the shower’ scent is quite literal for this. Lovely.

So so feminine, fresh, and pure sweet green tea. And so suitable for summer time!! However, it is not my usual type but I like it…
I have a second bottle of 100ml. If someone interested in getting it, I would be happy to swap 🙂 send me PM if you have questions 🙂

I LOVE this scent for hot Australian days. It smells refreshing. I love anything with a Mint scent and although I smell more Green Tea and Lemon the hint of mint is still there and that gives me the refreshed and clean feeling.

I like this a lot.. what a classic scent. Green and herbal and leaves a lovely little scent trail. Very soothing and really comes alive in hot weather. If you sniff up close to where you sprayed your skin, it is very crisp and green.. but the sillage is a bit more lush and musky as it warms up and mingles with the air. I can see why this is such a popular little fragrance!

My relationship to this TEA longs more than 10 years. And Iam still in Love with it. Fresh and a bit ticklish in the nose. Great to mix it wit floral perfumes . Need to have it for every case in my bath room.

I wear this scent alone or together with green tee honeydrops lotion. I like it, but I do not love it. From my perspective it comes off as very green teaish almost like an old tea bag. BUT and this is partly why I continue to wear it, I get lots of compliments when I do. My man think it smells fresh. But the most internering thing is that a lot of women have said things like : that scent is pleasant, that scent makes me feel relaxed, the scent you wear calm me down (since I work with visitors it is nice if they are calm and Happy)
So, I continue to wear it

This is a fun, lighthearted, clean and generally well tolerated (non-offensive) scent.
I find this good to wear at work on super humid and hot days.
The opening is lots of citrus and tea, but it mellows down to a more powdery and somewhat amber, soapy clean scent.
Interestingly it stays on clothing longer than on skin.

I love Green Tea Lotus, Green Tea Bamboo, I really do like Green Tea Camellia.
I’ve tried original Green Tea many times and now I think there is something disturbing in the base. I feel like I’ve sat in a smokers room? or like sniffing a wet newspaper – a sad, gray note.

I was given this as a gift years ago and thought it was insipid and a bit sickly. Recently revisited it and I’ve changed my mind. It’s a nice, simple summer fragrance – light and refreshing lemon and green tea with a clean, soapy drydown. Perfect for applying just out of the shower and before bed on summer nights.

Taking both the good and bad reviews into consideration I was expecting this to smell pleasant but pretty basic. It’s not basic at all, quite the opposite: very refined and elegant (it is simple, though). If I didn’t know what it was I would’ve thought it was an Hermes fragrance.

Best office scent ever!!! You could walk into the mist, but why bother since it is not really a parfume but an air freshener.

this perfume is one of the first that I ever used, and although I liked it a lot when I was 16, I feel like I’ve sort of grown out of it. First of all, although it smells absolutely delightful, all fresh and green and definitely of green tea, the scent does not last AT ALL. I use it as more of a body spray as a quick pick me up and don’t really rely on it to keep me smelling great because again, it has basically no lasting power.

  19. :

    5 out of 5

I just adore how refreshing this perfume is..i mean all the herbal and green notes blend perfectly….sadly the lasting power is awful..and so is the sillage…as for me the purpose of buying perfumes is that for the people to notice you and admire what youre wearing…so its pointless spending money on smoething that is hardly spot on…by the noses…huhu…5 out of 10 for this one

This is a definite spring/summer favorite. Fresh herbal citrus, light and inoffensive. Refreshing if refrigerated.
    Always a repurchase.

This is so good. Like a tall glass of ice-tea.
I’d bathe in this if I could, and, at least in my experience, it’s physically impossible to overspray this. It’s light and the longevity is not awesome, but I don’t care because you can get a huge bottle for a song and spray away ’til the cows come home.
I love this because it is lemony but mellow, it’s gently sweet but not too sweet, it’s got a delightful clean musk underneath, some whispery white flowers, and it has rhubarb! Why don’t more things have rhubarb without being sour and pissy?
It also has actual green tea in it, it says so right on the box: ‘contains green tea’, and it’s in the ingredients as well (camellia sinensis leaf extract). I thought this was a really cool little detail.
I am most definitely never going to be without a bottle of this nectar. It’s absolutely *made* for the summer heat, but I think it’s great for all year long, whenever you want to be in your happy place.
I have the Green Tea Honey Drops Body Cream as well, a gigantic jar, and use it every day.
This is absolutely unisex lemony goodness.
Well played, to both Arden and Monsieur Kurkdjian!

I have had my eye on this for so long and finally purchased a small bottle when I saw it for $12 at TJ Maxx. I liked it from the very first sniff. It is indeed a very fresh and clean kind of scent. Think, citruses and green tea. Very light. I have been enjoying this as a scent I put on right out of the shower before bed. But I won’t be limiting it to just a bed scent. I can see m yself wearing this for the spring and summer months here in Illinois. It gets so humid and hot, which makes it hard to feel fresh in the humid heat of July and August. This will be a pleasant and easy go to. I’m very happy with this purchase. It’s a great blind buy if you are fresh clean scent lover!
Longevity is moderate and sillage is light.

A classic staple for people that like clean, fresh, green scents.Perfect during summer, very uplifting and refreshing.
The opening is pleasantly tart, very lemony and minty, but it settles down in a rather delicate herbal, fresh composition.
    The notes blend well together.
    Quite unisex and long lasting.
I used this for many years, maybe too long, so now I´m looking for something different. Still a lovely, affordable scent.

Just received the Green Tea Honey Drops Body Cream and all I can say is hmmmmm, what a wonderful scent! I believe it is a little different to the scent mentioned here but must come closest since some of the variations have their own cream (?). There is also a body lotion availabe, so unsure how much the honey drops affect the overall appearance, haven’t smelled the scent in a while.
Fresh, sweet and a little creamy. Perfect for layering with the perfume, Balmain Ivore, Tommy Girl, Iceberg, Bobbi by Bobbi Brown etc. Clean, fresh, polished and womanly, at least to my nose. Can’t wait to use it and pamper myself a little. And for the price I will def get a bottle of the fragrance as well 🙂
Edit: Tested it yesterday and my cream is the 1:1 scent of the perfume. Gorgeous smell that really lifts the mood and wakes the senses!

I’m currently borrowing the body lotion and bodyshampoo at mom’s over Easter. They’re horribly green on me for the first minute or so. I find that if I use the warmth of my hands to rub in the body lotion, then I skip that stage of not-at-all-fresh-greens that I don’t care for (I don’t like green scents on me anyway) but I’m left with a soft, skin close, almond almost faintly marcipan (though not cloyingly sweet) scent for a while after – a couple of hours if I sniff an arm up close. Must be something my skin chemistry does to the fragrance in the body lotion.
I’ll test the scent next time I get the chance. There’s a stage that lasts a few minutes that reminds me of classic Nivea before I’m left with the soft almond creamy scent.

  27. :

I’m a bit undecided on this one. Its scent can best be described as green, fresh and most of all soap-like. A light spray after the shower no doubt leaves one smelling clean and fresh out of the shower for several hours. However, it is rather strong and I kept noticing an annoyingly strong smell of soap on me when I had gotten a little too much on me.
I think this might be a good alternative for those who want a “fresh out of the shower”-scent. I think it comes best to its right when lightly sprayed at the back of the neck, where it doesn’t evaporate as quickly or strongly.
As for the notes, I don’t notice any of the spices or amber, this is mainly green tea, jasmine and lemon on me.

Warning to all you ladies that wear this. I just might try to hit on you. It’s one of my favorite perfumes that a woman can wear. I think it’s sexy AF.

  29. :

Light green Uplifting bright citrus with green tea lightly in the background. I was surprised to not experience any sharpness. It would be a great buy if you are looking for a refreshing citrus that will allow you to wear another perfume later in the day.
It didn’t survive the heat; as it was gone after a 2 hour shopping trip.

This is the greenest and most natural scent i ever smelled Its very leavy sweet green tea Reminds me of hairproducts and moisturising oils like aloe vera I expected something more aromatic and aquatic.more minimalistic suitable for office like many people say in the comments But it reminds me of walking in a forest or at the beach with maxi dress and flowers in the hair.quite youthfull joyfull harmonic yet classic Its a real beachy bohemian scent to me

This smells very complex from the begining. I smell lemon, with subtle mint and just a little bit of bergamot. It presents itself with deep and fresh feeling. As the scent settles a bit, the tea note becomes more prominent – it’s not dark, yet not completely light or only green, it’s just enough strong to keep it the way you need for refreshment. To be honest I can’t tell spices separately, but I don’t really mind as I can still tell the edge is there.
Well, it’s Kurkdjian. No wonder I’m not dissapointed.

A friend got this as a gift but it totally isn’t her style. I was more than happy to take it off her hands! It’s welcomingly refreshing on a humid summer day. I also found it had more staying power on me than some reviews here suggest; I spritzed it in the crooks of my elbows around 4pm and can still smell it now at 2am. The drydown has an almost aquatic scent that reminds me of men’s aftershaves, or Davidoff Cool Water. I would happily spritz this about as room freshener or spray myself before bed. It’s not a perfume to treat preciously but to enjoy generously.

This is a lovely fresh every day scent which does smell of Green Tea but is actually a lot more than just that! I get a lot of cucumber and citrus from this and at £11 for 100ml you can’t really go wrong. It’s something I’ll wear when I want to feel relaxed and if anyone else loves to wear perfume to go to bed like I do then this is a great option. Very pleased with this purchase and the bottle is really elegant.

For a long time this was one of my favorite perfumes. I love light fluffy scented perfumes. Every time I wore this scent the compliments were endless. I haven’t worn it in years but I might introduce it back into my scent catalog. This is scent is very fresh, floral with a hint of green tea. This was mainly a spring scent for me but it can also work in summer.

Elizabeth Arden Green Tea scent spray smells fresh, clean, crisp and soft. To me, it is well worth the price. I usually buy more expensive perfumes, some of which have been huge disappointments. Green Tea is exquisite. I love the citrus; I love the clean and fresh tendrils that intoxicate my senses. I also like that it isn’t an “in your face” perfume. It’s soft and subtle. I don’t mind re-spritzing myself a few times a day – part of the joy of a good perfume is misting it on and luxuriating in the experience. To put it simply – I love everything about this perfume, and I never would have thought I would. So, sometimes we get surprises from unexpected sources.

This is simple and complex at the same time if makes sense, I will buy it because I do like it and it was made by the genious Francis Kurkdjian. I think this scent is fresh, spicy, its like a fresh sweet breeze. I am going to buy it to take on my travels since its very versatile scent. I crave for this sort of perfumes in the winter time as well, specially on those sunny winter days, there is something about this perfume that is uplifting and put me in a good mood.

I had a small bottle of this in 1999 or 2000. I loved it then and at 34, I love it now. I have a large fragrance collection and this is one of the only inexpensive scents I own. It may be inexpensive, but it’s not cheap. I loathe cheap scents. But this? It’s fresh, crisp and lovely. It’s not complicated or sophisticated, but it’s a great fresh day fragrance. Or a just-out-of-the-bath fragrance.

Elizabeth Arden GT is a wonderful green tea scent. It’s a crisp, clean and minimalist fragrance. Great for aromatherapy and meditations. Spray a couple of times in your bath water and you can feel a calmness come over you as you declutter your mind. Once you’re washed up and clean, you spray your body or clothes and you feel like you just had a green tea spa day. Very appropriate for casual white t-shirt and blue jeans days. Elizabeth Arden’s Green Tea is simplistic and pure yet absolutely beautiful.

I used to wear this in high school/to my cafe job. I remember the day I stopped wearing it was when a male friend screwed up his face when I sprayed it and said ugh, smells like toilet freshener. I was very embarrassed, because I’d been wearing it for a year before he’d even said anything. However, in a store the other day, I sprayed some on myself for the first time in about seven years and I thought, what a lovely, basic, fresh fragrance. It really shines here in the hot/tropical climate, your average scents start to gradually become a little disgusting ten degrees below average temp. So what does that guy know? It is what it is, which is a really simple EDT with a couple of notes emphasising freshness and that’s it. I personally find plenty of scents salespeople accost you with in the fragrance section too heavy, too synthetic, too headache inducing. Green Tea is simply not at risk of being mistaken for one of those.

  41. :

    3 out of 5

I love this. Very fresh and comforting, a blast of green tea and lemon, ideal to use after shower. I would love if this lasted longer so I could use it as an actual daytime fragrance.

  42. :

I always find it hilarious to look at the wardrobes of those who critique fragrances like this.
Firstly, to those saying this smells cheap, it’s essentially a soliflore. It’s not going to be complicated. It smells, more or less, like the name suggests. Your wardrobes basically suggest exactly what you’re into. Don’t like Green Tea? Cool. Go wear a Mariah Carey scent or Aquolina’s Gold sugar – they don’t smell cheap at all.
Secondly, the people who are giving this good reviews aren’t simply lying. They either a.) understand good composition and well constructed fragrances, or b.) know how not to complain about every little thing and enjoy a good fresh scent
Not saying people don’t have the right to like this, and valid critique is always enjoyable to read and understand but some is just either harsh and unfair or completely false and unnecessary.

i reached for this today because I wanted to wear a scent but I wanted something light and natural…. at first it was refreshing and “cool” but this quickly dissipated. in fact, after 20 mins I could no longer detect this at all. so….. disappointing.

One of the first perfumes I owned. I kinda wish it had more green tea and less of the sharp citrus. This perfume definitely doesn’t last on the skin but sillage is not too bad. It lasts a bit longer on clothes though. Overall a very refreshing inoffensive summer scent.

  45. :

    5 out of 5

Citrus is definitely the main note showing on my skin. Thankfully it is not too sweet and doesn’t get annoying. I guess the mint helps and probably the green tea note balances it all out. But still – this to me is mainly a citrus scent, green tea is noticeable somewhere in the background.
The freshness of this fragrance is very tasteful, though citruses do tend to get sharper if I apply more than one spray.
Altogether a quite classy and affordable fresh citrus fragrance, great for summer and good for everyday use when I want to feel refreshed – one of my top choices for the warmer weather.

  46. :

    3 out of 5

I would really love to press “love” for this perfume – I’d definitely do that, regarding the scent itself. However, longevity and silage are really poor – of course, it’s natural due to ‘citrusiness’ of the perfume, but it would be great to enjoy the scent a bit longer. Maybe I should try combining the perfume with a body lotion of the same scent?
Although in general I’m a fan of more oriental-like, more intensive and more complex perfumes, “Green Tea” is just perfect for hot summer days when the only olfactory wish is just to refresh yourself with a pleasant scent around. Very light, very optimistic, not offensive at all, and always spreading positive, sunny vibes for me 🙂 For me, it’s summer happiness every time I smell this.

I always have this perfume in my drawer.
I wear it on & off, but i must have it for its so versatile. This is something I wear when I do not want to think what to wear. The opening is sharp, some people hate this citrus bomb opening, but I rather enjoy it. At the later stage I smell something sweet blended with citrus.
This is cannot go wrong fragrance. If I only allow to keep one fragrance, I will definitely keep this one.

  49. :

    3 out of 5

Lovely and fresh but it doesn’t last more than a few hours. An excellent summer scent but for lasting power, layer it with the lotion and soap.

  50. :

On colder days it’s a good fragrance but nothing special at all but as soon as hot weather arrives Green Tea by Elizabeth Arden becomes a very appreciated scent! To my nose it’s very refreshing mix of rhubarb, green tea, mint and lemon. No sugar added. It’s like aromatherapy for my senses overwhelmed by excessive heat. Nothing fancy but very likeable. It lasts on my skin a few hours but it’s very affordable and I like spraying it.

  51. :

    4 out of 5

I dont get any amber or musk from this. Its a sharp, cheap smelling citrus that never changes. It has no longevity & I guess sillage was ok but since I didnt like the scent at all it didnt much matter. It smells like a cheap, body spray you would get at walmart. I couldnt even wear this around the house and threw it away.

  52. :

    3 out of 5

Right after spraying it on my skin the scent is quite sharp and feels almost masculine, because of the combination lemon, orange peel and bergamot but this sharp feeling fades quickly and then sweet mint start showing which makes the sharpness milder and rhubarb, which makes the scent sweeter but not overly sweet. I can feel mostly the smell of mint, rhubarb and bergamot with a little bit of lemon, orange peel is detectable only right after spraying. A few minutes after spraying I feel beautiful jasmine which isn’t overwhelming and strong at all (not like in Alien for example), a little bit of oak moss (I love woody notes ♥ ) and a tiny bit of musk, which isn’t soapy and irritating. At the same time I feel mint, rhubarb and bergamot and I feel lucky that my nose doesn’t detect carnation (which I hate) and fennel (which I hate even more), but I’ve noticed that wearing the fragrance in cooler weather (около 22-24о C) I do detect fennel which stops me from wearing it in any other weather beside really hot. My nose can’t detect neither white nor regular amber during the whole development of the perfume. In the base I feel only green tea and a little bit of celery, no caraway, amber or musk. Green Tea has quite linear development – after the sharp and citrus-y beginning I feel only intensive green tea with mint, bergamot, rhubarb and a tiny bit of oak moss and celery and barely detectable jasmine and musk.
Green Tea EDP’s scent gives me the feeling of green tea with mint, sweetened with a bit of honey and drank in peace in fragrant garden ♥ Green Tea is definitely not a sweet type of perfume – there is a little bit of sweetness that comes from the rhubarb but the fragrance isn’t sweet in generally. Rhubarb is added in the right amount to soften the whole greenness and add the final touch to the perfume composition. Green Tea is really green, light and pure type of scent – the scent of a summer garden after rain. Talking about rain I want to mention that Green Tea has the best development in humidly weather but in dry and hot it’s not getting bitter as well. As I said Green Tea is quite linear type of scent and what you feel 10 minutes after spraying is what you’ll feel till the end – the scent don’t have intense development and surprising notes didn’t show up (beside the fennel I feel whenever I’m wearing it in cool weather).Green Tea isn’t an intensive scent and it doesn’t have sillage or projection – it a close to the skin scent that is perfect to wear in the office or if you’re not into strong and intensive fragrances.
I just can’t imagine wearing such a fresh, light and ‘’green’’ perfume in any other season beside summer. Eventually I’ll make an exception for a really hot and humid spring day, but Green Tea is definitely a summer scent for my taste. Longevity isn’t the best – in hot & dry weather it stays on the skin for about 4 hours, in humid weather around 6 hours and after the first hour it stays close to the skin. If you want to feel the scent during the whole day you must to reapply it at least once.I categorize Green Tea as a daytime scent – I won’t wear it at night even in the summer.

    * These are my personal experiences/thoughts with this fragrance. Yours/others may differ. *
    Initial – mint + lemon + bergamot + orange
Drydown – green tea + carnation + jasmine + musk
    Duration – 1-4 hours
    Projection – soft
Experiences – In cooler weather I can detect this scent for 3-4 hours; in warmer weather it’s gone within 1-2 hours.
Quick Thoughts – fresh, green, utterly lacking in longevity
Why I Keep It – Green Tea is a fragrance that I am biased towards as it is one of my mother’s signature scents. Smelling this fragrance always conjures up images of my mother in the summertime. Not my favorite tea scent in the world, but something I would always keep around for sentimental reasons. If you want more staying power, I would recommend pairing it with the matching lotion.

I can’t believe that this has been around for so long and I am just now trying it. It is very nice, very clean and fresh smelling. I paired with a Rose perfume and they were wonderful together! I can see this perfume going a long way when pairing with another scent because on it’s own it just doesn’t last long. That is the only downside for me. The possibilities are endless when paired with other scents! Have fun with it and spray yourself some happy.. =)

  55. :

    3 out of 5

This is a simple, elegant, fresh scent that, to my perception, could easily be worn by both women and men alike. I do wish that it had more staying power on me, though (unless I’m just going nose-blind to it after wearing it a bit, which happens to me more often than not).
As with any fragrance, if you like it, go for it! I do hope to find an EDP version of this in the hopes that it will have greater longevity on me that way.

  56. :

It’s a bit of a boring scent. More like a deodorant kind of smell than perfume kind of smell. Too fresh maybe? I used to like it but I’ve long grown out of it.

Very clean, fresh scent. It is long-lasting on me. I receive lots of compliments on it and the green tea and lavender. Two of my very favorite scents.

Very fresh spring-summer fragrance. Clean smell. I pare it with Fun di Fendi EDT, for me they go well together.

    It’s fresh, clean, easy, likable
fresh-out-of-the shower fragrance… I didn’t got any of the green tea smell they’re trying to showcase. It kinda reminds me of… A foaming facial cleanser, maybe the neutrogena deep clean one? or maybe the clean & clear foaming face wash, the one that comes in the orange tinted clear bottle.
    7.8/10

Fresh, clean, crisp, elegant, airy, just out of shower, soft and delicate. Brilliant daytime scent, this one will not offend anyone. Very spa-like smell.

I wore Green Tea all this weekend.
I happen to become an owner of this because I had an unfortunate lost of all my fragrance back in 2016. Many of my Euax Fraiches or Fresh Water Scent were lost. So I go this in replacement( use to always get hoards of samples when it first came out)
Green Tea is a great Euax Fraiches. My plan was to purchase this at the Red Door Spa ,but life yet again happen and I was not able to. Green Tea really is the example of Elizabeth Arden Spa Chic. Its light, refreshing and is perfect for when you leave the Red Door- rejuvenation. This is listening to Spa Music or Solo Piano( Calm Radio) in the morning.
However, it took me reading the notes to smell the deepness in it, and yes at the bottom there is clove, anise, mint. Yet at the top initial spritz, it resonates lemon and mint. (This replace Guerlain Herba Fresca, Jo Malone Jasmine and Mint for me, and is presenting question on getting Eau de Coq–just presenting them that all) And I must shout out that it’s thoroughly American.
Yes, it fleeting( much like Guerlain’s Euax Fraiches) ,but part of the fun here is that you playfully have to reapply. In actuality I can smell it the next day. Baby Powder is such a good way to give it longevity and a lemon or lavender or mint lotion helps too.
At its price (29.50 to 45.00 dollars) and for what you get ( 2.5/3.3 fl oz), this is pretty amazing scent and fun but very very tranquil. The bottle is just as serene.

Love this, clean and crisp. I enjoy the tea notes and the citrus . Great summer spring scent. Very light and not overpowering .

Just picked 30ml of this up for 10 euros on holiday in Spain. It’s going to be my travelling fragrance, zero sillage and longevity like everyone else says but a fresh, summery boost that won’t overwhelm in hot climates. I still remember how stunning Catherine Zeta Jones was in the original promos for this scent.
Interesting to note that my packaging says “Green Tea Scent Spray” – alluding to the body spray theme others mention!

This was the first “grown up” perfume I ever wore. Looking back, I can see why I chose it.
On me, this turns into a mint tea bomb, with some musk and Jasmine in the background. It was PERFECT for the hot Arizona weather! And was a pretty intro to perfume.

I like Sunflowers, so decided to try this. Got a 1 oz. bottle for less than $7. I wasn’t sure what to expect. The bottle smelled like tea and mint. I asked my mother if she wanted to try it, so we sprayed it on our wrists. It started out as a blast of citrus-lemon, then orange. There was a little tea. It reminded us of an iced tea smell. Then it changed to something slightly like Sunflowers-the chemical/synthetic quality that I dislike about Sunflowers. For about 10 minutes the smell got stronger, and I worried I might get a headache. But I liked the scent, so I waited for the drydown. A half hour later it calmed down. Lasting a few hours on my wrists. It is now a nice light scent on me. I think this will work well in summer. I like that I smell citrusy instead of florals. I prefer the scent of Sunflowers, but Green Tea is a little less bold, almost as loud as that one. Another family member said it filled the house, and smelled like air freshener. I’m guessing that even though it is not strong to me now, others would notice. This is nice but needs to be sprayed lightly. It is more citrus than tea. I’m getting no mint except on the bottle itself. The bottle is cute. The size is great to fit in my hand and to carry in a purse. I like it.
