Description

Elizabeth Arden Green Tea Cucumber is a limited edition for 2015 of the original Green Tea from 1999. Green Tea Cucumber captures a refreshing drink of water with cucumbers, ideal for hot summer days.

The fragrance celebrates freshness, joy and those cheerful and pleasant summer mornings. Its top notes of sparkling citruses and refreshing cucumber exceed into a summer bouquet of watermelon, green tea and French violet. The base of ambrette seed and amber provides a balance to the composition.

Available as 100 ml Eau de Toilette.

It was like cucumber water you drink. I love that so much. I had 5ml and got through it quickly. I really enjoyed it and might get another spray sample if I see one pop up. So far this, Bamboo and original GT are my favourites.

Kinda bummed this smells almost identical to Clinque Happy Heart on me. While I enjoy HH I already own it. I really don’t smell any green tea in this. It’s light, citrus floral and major cucumber notes. I can see how some may not like the cucumber, it’s kind of on the same lines of seaweed. However, this composition is very fresh and great for the heat. I don’t feel weighed down, it’s just not a spa scent for me and I did BB in hopes it would be. I’ll surely wear it though. I’m having fun collecting this line.
Update ~ wearing side by side I do prefer Green Tea Cucumber over Happy Heart. The drydown in HH has that department store scent trail that I need to be in the mood for. GTC stays fresh and pleasant and I like it better on my skin chemistry more, despite it not projecting as much as HH.

This has to be used EXCESSIVELY to show its full potential. It is perfect for hot, dry weather!

Recently discovered the green tea line looking for some nice, light, cheap summer fragrances…this one is very good – the cucumber takes the astringent bite away and adds a nice balance to the overall fragrance…a really good value and still easy to find…recommended…

Very nice summer fragrance… gives kind of like a “just out of the shower after a whole day at the beach” feeling the whole day long. The cucumber note is strong the first 5 minutes or so and then becomes much quieter and the whole thing turns citrusy. Not as good staying power as the orgiginal green tea but still very recommendable.

Very clean and fresh green citrus scent. No sweetness, no florals. I find the cucumber note to be noticeable, but subtle. Completely unisex in my opinion. Very poor staying power, but refreshing when applied. Perfect for hot, humid weather. I don’t mind the poor staying power because it’s so inexpensive that I can use it liberally.

This is my least favorite of the AAGT’s. Just got it today, & maybe I should try to love it this Spring? It almost knocked me over! My favorite is Green Tea Honeysuckle (by far). I washed it off, & I could still smell it. I’ll try it again tomorrow. If it’s still a bomb, I’ll wait til it gets warm outside. I LOVE strong scents, but this one is TOO sharp & bitter to be as strong as it was. WOW. I def get the masculinity in this. It shocked me.

Very nice fresh clean scent. I love the smell of cucumber and it smells of what it says on the tin. Longevity and projection are beyond ridiculous though. However it is never more than £20 so what can one expect? if it was £40 plus I would be mad.

I’ve wanted to find this ever since it came out and holy crap I finally did! AND it was only $19.99 for the 100mls size!!! I absolutely love it. I mean, it’s similar to others from the Arden Green Tea line, but it’s got this very fresh vibe to it in comparison to others in the line. Green tea Yuzu was my favorite from the line but this is now front runner. The *only* downfall is that the longevity isn’t there, but that’s no big shock when you are a lover of this line. I wouldn’t pay a crazy price for it, only because of the longevity issues. If I could find this in a way to make it last holy crap I think it would be my new go to!!

Refreshing and calming. No one is going to pretend that this is a complex, long lasting fragrance. However, it’s perfect for hot summer days when you want something pleasant to spritz over yourself every few hours. The green tea and cucumber notes are both recognisable and work well together and the scent is clean, fresh and perfectly unisex. Nothing extraordinary, but really nice to have in my collection.

I just got this to wear to the gym as I needed a break from Cool Water which is my usual exercise scent.
Overall,I like it. On me it is rather soft and sweet and the citrus predominates. I kind of wish the cucumber were stronger and more bracing but even so I find it refreshing enough.

It is the French violet that makes it unisex and is quite noticeable in this perfume. So I am surprised at the results. This is a favorite of mine and I see it more feminine than masculine. Definitely fresh and ozonic. Reminds me of eau belle.

Actually the whole Green tea line smells unisex to me and this is no exception. The opening is mostly tea on my skin and it smells masculine and bitter, then it becomes more ozonic and aquatic. The cucumber is prominent, I love cucumber, it always gives a fresh vibe to a fragrance. There is some sweetness in Green tea cucumber, I suppose it’s the watermelon. Nice silage. Actually it’s a very pleasant fragrance, great for summer and I give it a like.
P.S. Someone mentioned galbanum as a non-listed note and I can really smell it in the drydown.

Blind bought based on reviews and notes. At first whiff I was disappointed at how masculine it smelt. Was hoping to get that cucumber accord I found in the now discontinued (in Singapore) the body shop cucumber cleansing milk. Smells a lot more aggressively citrusy than I generally like my fragrances to be. Kept testing it again and again and found it growing on me as there were new things about it to like. Definitely a unisex scent.

I could bathe in this stuff! Love it so much during summer. It’s an instant pick up up treat. Feels so fresh and clean with a touch of sweetness. So addictive to wear and a must have during the warmer months!

Oooo! loving this.. Just arrived in the post this morning..Green tea is a bit of a “thing” for me at the moment, Eau De Gaga, Jennifer Lopez Still and now this!!
Is so fresh and light and sparkling and perfect for warm weather..reminds me a bit of a cucumber toner that Boots used to make years ago. I think I’ll be wearing this a lot over the next few months..

Very well executed fresh, watery cucumber with the original Green Tea scent. I find some cucumber fragrances to be too loud and dry than it should be. This one was well done with the watery and realistic cucumber.

Love this scent. Extremely fresh without having too much emphasis on the citrus. The cucumber note is spot on and blends very well with the tea note. Great to wake up to!

Just bought a bottle online and i think it’s really perfect for tropical summer. This scent also reminds me of Jessica Mcclintock and Benetton B. United. For me, the scent is citrus-floral, very fresh yet classy.

Quite simply the perfect summer scent. Like splashing scented water on your face. So fresh, slightly sweet, delicious, clean, pure.
I have a lot of the Green Tea flankers, and this is my favourite of the lot.

This is a surprise for me that I like it. I don’t usually like that ozonic-aquatic and fresh type of fragrances.
It is something I would like to use as a body splash after the training.
I sense tea notes, citrusy notes and the note that is considered cucumber note, though it’s not how cucumber actually smells.
It reminds me of Garnier’s face tonic’s scent and I like that about it.

I really love this green tea version! The cucumber softens the sharpness and adds an extra element of freshness. It is not significantly different than the majority of its predecessors, but enough of a twist to make me want to add it to the collection.
I bought on a whim in Florence Italy this past summer, although I was looking for more Italian brands and not Elizabeth Arden! The price was right, and it hit the spot during a hot summer. How can one resist that sunny bottle?!
    Here are the expanded notes:
    Fragrance Notes
Top: Green tea vapors, Calabrese bergamot, Florida tangelo, Tunisian neroli and wet cucumber accord
Mid: Watermelon, jasmine petals, galbanum and French violet leaves absolute
Base: Skin musks, ambrette seed, radiant amber and mate absolute from Paraguay
Captures the energy and feel of waking up on a crisp morning

I usually like oakmossier, woodier scents, but the warm summer days here left me wanting something lighter. I never thought I would like this, as the original always has been too harsh on my skin, but this smells just light and fresh! (on maybe it’s an age thing)
Lasts about 4 hours on me, not complaining about that.
