Gold Incense is the new fragrance from Carolina Herrera‘s exclusive perfume line Herrera Confidential, and the first fragrance of its sub-collection Eastern Treasures which celebrates the Arab heritage, alchemy and culture, as well as fragrances that are synonymous with luxury. Gold Incense reportedly fuses power and majestic beauty.

Carolina Herrera de Baez, creative director of the house and the daughter of its founder, evokes memories of her mother with the new fragrance; her admiration for the cultures of the Middle East and scents of timeless elegance. The fragrance is a modern reinterpretation of frankincense as an ancient perfumery ingredient.

The composition is signed by perfumer Pierre Constantin Gueros. The idea was to depict another time and compound materials such as gold and frankincense. The fragrance opens with marigold, angelica seed, bergamot and cinnamon. Its smoky and resinous heart includes Atlas cedar and labdanum, based on incense from Boswellia Sacra tree, sandalwood and vanilla caviar from Madagascar.

The fragrance can be worn alone or combined with oils of the Herrera Confidential line, such as Pure Oil of Rose and Pure Oil of Musk. Available as a 100 ml Eau de Parfum.

Gold Incense was launched in 2017. The nose behind this fragrance is Pierre-Constantin Guéros.
