Bought a gift set of this at Winners today. Could not pass up a bargain. Oh how I regret it 🙁 Really nasty first 20 minutes, the dry down is better but still does not smell nice from upclose. Message me fellow Canadians if you want to swap 🙂

This perfume s a mild one. Not over powering but comforting. At first spray i was disappointed coz i didnt smell the first blast of the notes but after a seconds u can smell the mild scents of sandalwood, pepper, orchid and other notes.. Its a balsamic sweet fragrance with a touch of wood. Its so mild and it doesnt make u sneeze at the first spray. It is also a little powdery. Really mild fragrance that doesnt make me nausea nd headache. I wish it last long on my skin. The drydown is powdery. What i love in this perfume is the box and the bottle. Golden box with an artistic opening. And have a stand where u can put the bottle. The bottle is really beautiful. Gold heart with a black paint. And a lot of black diamonds around the lid and a big heart shape chain with a black diamonds aroud it. I recommend this perfume to all the woman who wants a mild scent.i grab this perfume coz of its cheap price. $20usd for 100ml. Which is not bad compare to the mall price. Btw i avail this perfume from prestige philippines. I like this perfume but not love it… But the designs and artistry about the box and bottle is pretty awesome. My first BEBE perfume.

Omg thank u to all reviewers saying it’s similar to Guess Gold!I’m so happy as Guess Gold is discontinued and cost fortunes now. I will definitely have to try and the prices online are dirt cheap. So Until we meet again Guess Gold!

It is quite spicy yet soft. I get the sweet, woodsy powdery notes. It is a fall/winter scent. I would wear it for the evening

This is a very light floriental, I would suggest it as a light summery scent for oriental lovers or those that don’t like straight floral scents. I can detect a lovely little bit of Amber in the heart of this that I just adore.

I find this to be a pretty simple and linear scent. It opens with 100% pepper and dries down to Sandalwood. I don’t detect any other notes or any real complexity. It’s pleasant, but nothing to write home about.

I too bought this because of Guess Gold, which is amazing on a woman. I think for the money it is a pretty great purchase, but not very similar to Guess Gold really. It has some of the DNA, in the sweetness, but lacks any white floral and the pineapple accord. So in all, without knowing Guess Gold, you may not be too disappointed for the what, 5$ it may cost you. It does have a little cedar hint to it, so that may not have been a bad bottle, you may be sensitive to it.

I love the accords listed here but this was a no for me. Smells just like Heidi Klum Shine and that is even a bit better to me than this one.

Bebe Gold is a very soft woody scent, suited for days when I’m not really feeling strong perfume. It’s a nice alternative to the light florals and soapy scents I usually turn to on those days.
Gold starts out with fruit and pepper. The powder appears early and was still noticeable 20 minutes later. It settles into a dry but still peppery wood on my skin. I can’t really name notes other than pepper, but my impressions make sense in relation to what I see in the note pyramid.
The gold heart bottle is lightweight but still attractive. The scent is probably imperceptible unless you’re up close. Bebe Gold is perfect for when woody oriental lovers are in a “perfume lite” kind of mood.

Very woody at first, then sweeter floral and fruity notes make their way into the mix, along with a slight spiciness. After a short while it turns into a nice soft floral Oriental on me but stays very close to the skin.

Bought this because I loved Guess Gold, and I guess it is similar, but… I have to say I was disappointed. Other reviews have pointed out the small sillage and staying power. I noticed the same thing, and besides which, it’s just a bit boring. I needed to press my nose against my wrist to detect any hint after a couple of hours, and when I did, I just thought, ‘meh.’ It’s warm and sweet and spicey and absolutely and utterly inoffensive – but no wow factor at all. Fine for a safe choice, but I won’t be buying again.

To me this is a less aromatic version of Gucci Rush, also it lacks the depth and white floral of Gucci Rush but shares the spicy sensual smell. Good perfume for those who like spicy warm smells but don’t want to leave a trail behind you, considering the small sillage. This is a unique spicy scent that dries down to a spicy/earthy sweet smell.

Bebe Gold is soft, almost too soft to wear outside to be noticed. It sits very close to the skin, yet lingers for hours. Kumquat, an odd note for me, hovered over the other notes, mixing with pink pepper, sandalwood, and especially opoponax, which I believe is the saving grace of this perfume.
A sensual type of scent. This is one you’d wear with your SO in the evening for close encounters, or perhaps, a comfort scent. It’s also familiar in its fragrance type, reminding me of others that are currently on the market. It’s not that distinctive to set it apart in the crowd.
I like the shape of the bottle, it’s a bit heftier in weight, a little different. With the miniature, I have to use a flashlight to see what exactly is left, since the gold is painted to the top. Shaking it doesn’t tell me.
Unless I find this a great price, I wouldn’t purchase the larger version. It’s just too common.

I bought a small bottle online just to try-total blind buy. I wore it two times and decided if I had the chance to buy a huge bottle, I would. Got it today at TJ Maxx for less than $20! This perfume smells soooo good-it’s sweet but not cloyingly or syrupy and when the amber and sandalwood warm up, it’s warm, inviting and very “approachable” without being flirty. It kind of says to the person who is whiffing, “Can we go somewhere, just the two of us?” It’s a great wear on my body (as my chemistry LOVES amber and sandalwood). I think this is a great choice for day wear, as the sweet, playful scent will last on me for about 2-3 hours, but then the warm, more mature (dare I say seductive) oriental notes kick in and it’s the best thing to wear out for date night after work. I find it to be versatile. Not a man-killer, not even man-bait, but definitely a frag I will be wearing on a frequent basis. I love this perfume!

i bought bebe gold because i miss guess gold, the fragrance is almost identical to guess gold, but the sillage and longevity are extremely weak. Just 1 hour on my skin…it is dissapointing. I guess i should get guess gold online.
The most prominet notes are ambar, sandalwood, opoponax , vanilla and caramel. Delicious as gold guess is, but the longevity..the sillage ..sooo weak!

First try: It dries down to a pretty good flowery scent (maybe very slightly too synthetic) on me, after 3 to 4 hours after the opening. Isn’t it supposed to be much sooner? Unfortunately the strong long opening makes me nauseous, and I’d rather people around don’t notice the smell.
Given the climate here, heavy perfumes can be worn practically only during a very limited time in a year. Maybe I’ll give it another shot to see if this can work out.

this opens up in a spicy way but soon dries down to a warm and sweet scent. smells rich and glamorous, i guess it’s how the color “gold” smells like? lol the warmth and sweetness i mentioned earlier lasts for about 5-6 hours on me :]

I was very sad Guess Gold had been discontinued and then I found this Bebe Gold which seemed to me very similar to Guess. I wasn’t suprised the ‘Silver’ Bebe Bebe had reviews pointing out it was similar to Guess Silver. I liked very much the Bebe Gold and for me is actually what’s next after Guess Gold was discontinued.

I smelled this today while @ the mall and it didn’t exactly move me in either direction… While this isnt exactly a scrubber it definitely is more of a poor mans Allure lol… Its super strong @ 1st but not in a good way… I personally much more prefer Guess Gold which is much softer and definitely more well-blended… Sorry Bebe 🙁

    sampled this today in store.
The bottle is very cute, and has a heavy high quality feel to it.
The scent itself is perfectly pleasant and likable, a soft sweet spicy scent that still manages to maintain a very clean feel to it.
I think it is a little generic smelling, but i suppose they are trying to appeal to the largest market of women.
Since this has a very tame clean spice to it, i think it might be good for someone who wants a slightly sultry night time scent, but can’t stomach the spicy quality of most orientals.
