Description
“Go Ask Alice contemporizes the theme of the 1967 Summer of Love, a time when young Americans protested the Vietnam War, sold flowers, smoked pot, and trailed clouds of patchouli, and raises it to the level of a classy, wearable, and versatile perfume.” – Shelley Waddington

I don’t have much to say except, I swapped it.

I’ve been on a patch kick lately and this is a nice one! The tolu really sets it off, and the subtle floral/vanilla nuances round it out nicely. Mimosa and patch, who knew. Perfectly named.

Go ask Alice, cuz “You can get anything you want at Alice’s Restaurant~”! Here’s a patchouli frag that makes you nostalgic for the Arlo Guthrie song, Thanksgiving dinners, Woodstock, and joyous adventures. A simpler time, with less worries on the mind.
While testing blindly, I would have guessed the driving force behind Alice were patchouli, eucalyptus/menthol, pine/fir, and juniper. Citrus (orange-bergamot) and flora (mimosa-rose) join in for a deliciously-blended serving. The main course, of course, is patchouli. Alice adds a pinch of cacao and spices around the 15-20 minute mark, for this camphoraceous beauty. Vanilla rounds out the feast for dessert.
Longevity and projection are an extremely satisfying 8 hr + affair. Yet, you’ll still be craving for more!
