The aesthetics of the bottle scream ‘Spring / Summer scent’ but after wearing several times in different seasons I’ve come to the conclusion this is one for cooler weather.
In the heat, this performs less well, the notes kind of drift away after the opening.
When used in autumn / winter it’s got a lot more character and seems to last twice as long.
This opens with a fruity fizz of pink pepper (from the notes I guess the fruit is grapefruit) and the pepper dominates until the dry down. I don’t find the pink pepper repellant at all, it’s quite nice. The dry down is lovely, the notes list cedar (I get a hint in the background) and vetiver which personally, I don’t really pick up on. I actually get a kind of fruity vanilla (not listed in notes above) that’s very pleasant and sweet, making this a safe bet for the colder months.
Could definitely work in an office setting too as projection is moderate with 2-3 sprays.
I can also see this as unisex for sure.
Strange how this scent has such variation between seasons, I nearly passed it on in the hot summer but having experienced it’s beauty in cooler weather, this is now a definite keeper.
Pricy at RRP (£90!) but it can be found for less than half that if you shop around.

Simple sweet cedarwood cologne with prominent pink pepper. Grapefruit is rounding off the top notes, and vetiver is definitely in the background.
Very pleasant and clean, suitable for office.
