Every time you opened a new bottle it felt like your Birthday! One of the fragrances that set me one this journey…..of wonder:)
Nogyanneway – :
Nostalgia in a bottle… it used to be mom’s signature perfume back in the 90’s and early 00’s. Now it’s back with me, on my perfume shelf this time. It smells like mid-fall to me. Rich, melancholic, sweet. The sun is still warm, but days are getting shorter, the leaves are all golden and everyone anticipates the cold days ahead. But not now yet. We still have time to enjoy the sunshine and the warmth of October. I can’t think of any notes to describe this fragrance, just emotions, pictures, colors, places… This is how my childhood smelled like, late 90s, early 2000s, my first elementary school crush, my grandmother’s house, my Britney Spears and Shakira posters, my carefree days of happiness in its purest form. And smoky plum jam.
Franck OlivieR, thank you for the memories.

Just bought a 75ml bottle, was trying to get hold of this perfume I believe it had been discontinued and was so excited to finally find it online, I had it around 15 years ago and I loved it so much, and I had this impression that I am still in love with it but once I opened and sprayed it I was like hhmmmmm my taste have changed dramatically haha, unfortunately, I am not impressed anymore.. It lasts ages.. kind of fruity/flowery scent, it is sweet but not sweet enough for me.. if anyone fancy a swap for something else DM me, I am based in London.

A strange and interesting one. Bought it almost two years ago out of curiousity and because of the great reviews here. I have never smelled anything like it before. It is definitely a fruity smell, and I would even say that it smells of very sweet fruit jam. Even though cherry isn’t listed, I would say that there must be a hint of cherry jam in here. But maybe it’s just the plum. A very ripe one that is.
I wouldn’t call it a classy perfume, but rather cheeky and teasy. Suits me well after a work out, and for informal and happy occasions. For me it is a keeper, just because it is so different from everything else I wear, and because no one else has it. I could in fact imagine that if I smelt it on someone else, I would be very curious about what it was, and maybe even ask her about it. It makes definitely an impact and has a clear personality.

I decided to purchase Franck Olivier guided by mostly positive reviews on it. I was sure it’d be a success coz I love all the listed notes especially peach and black currant.
This nice shell is not really popular in my area so it was hard to find it in local stores.
And when I finally got it, it stunned me with its sugary thickness and burnt peach jam), but it was fresh at the same time, I could feel some soap powder notes which thankfully went off closer to the middle.
My love lasted for at most 2 -3 days and then I began to use it for aromatazing my wardrobe-it’s more suitable I think.
I cannot call it my greatest fragrance disappointment,it’s pretty nice but it’s too monotonous and I was expecting something different.
jagdpante – :
Well, this one was a very, very nice surprise. Note to self, slow down on blind buys, will you? Retro perfumes are so underrated. Olivier surely nailed it with this one, it’s high on plum and peach, dense and fleshy, if you dislike any of them, stay away. It also has a creamy undertone (heliotrope+vanilla+sandalwood) which compliments the two fruit stars. Oh yes, and ylang-ylang is a a nice touch to the mixture, no doubt. Great technical performances and price. Totally a winner.

i try it last week in the perfume shop, and spend all the day hanging out i go to home late and i still smell it ,so i bought it ,today i wear this perfume officially ,i spray it 7 AM ,until 3 PM i smell waaw ,sometimes i can smell vanilla and sandalwood but what was soo clear form me is the musk ,
thanks to Franck olivier ,i can have a special perfume even if am broke 🙂

This is a great favourite of mine. Everything from the bottle to the longevity says Quality. It starts out white flowers and citrus, I don’t get too much peach or plum – very nicely balanced. The dry down comes in vanilla and a very soft and gorgeous sandalwood. It all smells very real and natural and that in itself makes it seem like a blast from the past. They don’t make em like this any more.
Brjytnetik – :
O dear, I can hardly recall this smell, but yes: the end of nineties, I was a student and my boyfriend adored this heliotrope-vanilla combo. Sweet and musky, like a powder on a pillow… It was rather cheap (for my pocket that time, not quite my type today), but turned to be a milestone on my way to feminity 🙂

I bought this as a blind buy based on these positive reviews; I’ve been sniffing my wrist – a bit hesitant- for a few days now and just can’t believe how elegant and and classy and powdery delicious it unfolds.
Sweet, not overtly sweet or sexy, but just really lovely and attractive.

This is LOVE at first smell , it was given to me by a very dear friend as a gift for my engagment , and it’s one of the most beautiful gifts I ‘ve ever had , My fiance liked it very much & asked me not to wear it when he is away or when I am around other men 😉 .Nevertheless , he allowed me any other perfume ..This perfume is femininety in a bottle .It is for a FEMALE not a girl nor a woman, just like that very balanced mix of fruits & florals , it will draw love & desire and sweet memories to a woman in a unique romantic way .It’s for a mature female who likes beauty & isn’t afraid of drawing attention but in the right way .

at first it didn’t impress me much when I sniff it, buy it for the great deal small bottle, I just wanted something new, so I gave a try to this white bottle with fantastic bunch of scents. We are in winter now and it’s ideal to use it during this cold and grey days. truthfully i didn’t expect to have compliments since didn’t feel anything special but people around me start saying compliment whenever they are coming close to me. Came back home walk to parents room and mom followed me after saying “what a great scent?!” what you are wearing today? i sprayed in the morning and absolutely forget about it after lunch time but as u see it was still lingering on me with a trail..
its simply feminine scent with fruit and floral notes. To me all perfumes which were created in 90-s were the most unique and this one of those type. You can give a try without a doubt!!!

Apart from one comment that agrees with me,it seems many like it. did i get a dud bottle?

I have “Pearls” by Franck Olivier brought from eastern europe. It is supposed to have the same notes as the original frank olivier. This is a cute girly smell (sweet-fruity and floral) to my nose, but i have not tested the original one…
VLADRA – :
I just love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
mobiopemi – :
Like LEZ 7, I was very disappointed when I got a bottle of this as a blind buy. The reviews made it sound so nice but to me it was so potent and overwhelming! It was heavy, sickly sweet (not in a fruity way but just in a weird spicy’ish sugary way), overpowering, almost impossible to wash off and it made me feel slightly nauseous! It reminded me of perfumes I would smell older women wearing years ago, although I hate to say that it’s a perfume that’s perhaps better suited for mature ladies! Personally, I think it’s a perfume that’s not recommendable for anybody of any age who has any taste!!
So, I knew immediately it wasn’t right for me!! Even the bottle was a letdown. In the picture it looks so nice but in reality it doesn’t look as graceful and elegant and mine was a weird almost ivory color instead of white (maybe I got an old bottle!). Also, I don’t think it smells at all similar to S T Dupont Blanc, which is a perfume I’ve had. S T Dupont Blanc, to my nose, is entirely different (clearer, fresher, lighter and more floral) and a million times better than this perfume!

Was very disappointed with this perfume.I dont get that its floral fruity at all.To me it smells like something my nan would wear.

What is it about you, Mr Franck Olivier, that I am tempted to include your name into my top fav designers????
I have so far tried 5 fragrances from Franck Olivier collection and they all appeal to me like no other!
Franck Olivier signature I have fallen in love after first spray. It feels so good – floral-creamy-fruity-semi sweet. I can’t put it in words any better than this.
The most prominent notes are peach, plum, grapefruit, heliotrope and a stray rose petal and a pinch of vanilla…
Silage and lasting power killer.
The price is a joke – it is as if Franck was paying us to get these bottles off his shelves!
When I opened the box – a huge smile appeared on my face – the box inside had lovely summer orange-green colours and the bottle was wrapped in purple, crispy gift paper. The bottle resembles ivory texture and colour. The atomizer is golden colour – not some tacky plastic – this is Franck’s attitude to his customers – he pampers and nurture them using little charming details from the very moment they unwrap the box!
I am getting myself 2-3 more bottles before they are gone.
This fragrance will be my secret.
I am often asked what I am wearing, even by people who stand behind me in a queue @ the local supermarket but I have never had any intention of revealing who is behind this wonderful gem!!!
I give it 10 out of 10.
I also rate L’Eau De Franck and Blue by Franck just as high!!!!
Oh, and not only my thumbs but also my toes are up for Mr Olivier, since not only does he sign his fragrances, he also creates them himself!!!!
Mr Olivier – I officially adore you.
Keep doing the great job you do!!!

Icekat, à million thanks to you for your wonderful gift as well! You are a WONDERFUL person ! I hope you stay with us here forever! Love!

(This review is for Eau de Perfume)
FRANCK OLIVIER is a rich, classy and complex bouquet of fruits and flowers. The composition is intense, well-balanced and beautiful. The bountiful fruits are sweet and voluptuous in the opening followed by the rich, colorful and strong bouquet of flowers. When I was a teenager I was into drawing fairies representing each season. If this scent can take shape and form, it would look like my imaginative gorgeous summer fairy with roses and jasmine blossoms in her auburn red hair, dressed in vibrant summer colors of green, red and orange, and holding an intricately weaved basket of ripe fruits and berries of the summer.
The first whiff of this fragrance brings gentle grapefruit scent. The blackcurrant and plum appear next with strong and sweet aroma. This fruity-berry mix is quite intense but very delicious at the same time. The floral bouquet in the heart notes is just beautiful. As other reviewers mentioned, it is very well balanced. The individual notes are not designed to stand out but to create one uniform rich and opulent bouquet. The honey like sweetness comes from heliotrope I believe and it is quite nice in this bouquet. The dry down is majestic and beautiful sandalwood, ylang-ylang and musk and perhaps just a hint of vanilla. This is the first fragrance where sandalwood really shines on my skin. I love how it is combined with vanilla and musk.
I would like to say BIG THANK YOU to my dear friend Action for sending me this perfume as a gift. I love it and definitely recommend it if you are into strong sweet fruity floral scents like me. The sillage and longevity are awesome too.

This is one of my favourite fragrances. This is so unique, completely different than today’s parfums. But it is still beautiful and modern. It could be created nowedays and it just would be original.
The smell is more fruity and honey-like than floral for me. It is delicious, creamy sweet, sophisticated and very uplifting scent in the most extraordinary, classy bottle that I’ve ever seen.
First, I smell delicious velvety fruits (peach, plum and black currant). Then, the notes of sweet honey – perhaps it’s heliotrope?- and ylang-ylang are added to the fruits. Finally, a beautiful vanilla embraces the other notes.
It smells heavenly and very expensive on me and on my Grandmother who loves it too. And as Malegria said the staying power is everlasting.
In my coutry it is very difficult to find then it’s an added bonus that not many people wear Franck Olivier.
logun1969 – :
for me this is almost identical to Dupont’s Blanc. Very fresh, flowery and dewy, perfect for casual wear.
I like it, but since I already have Blanc, I’m not considering buying this one..
The bottle, however, is soooooo lovely 🙂
shakal – :
This one is for fruity juice scents fans. 2 sprays are enough, else it will be overwhelming. Not bad but not mine.

this is one of my favourite perfumes ever!!!It is just so perfect,it is so feminine,!!All the fruits and flowers make an extremely ,mild, elegant sweet, nice and well blended aroma …It is really nostalgic.Lasting power is excellent.it is much more better than many other more expensive perfumes made by very famous perfum houses out there
pipindrochka – :
A truly nostalgic fragrance. I don`t know when it was made, but some of my friends wore it in early nineties – lovely, lovely scent, more flowery then fruity. One of a kind! The staying power I remember as being everlasting.Very feminine, yet bold; very noticeable without being loud.A true treasure for the price, too.
A must-have! everyone will be asking what are you wearing…
