I used to love this and I wore it every day before I became a perfumista. This was during the summer of ’07, when my then fiancé, now husband, took me on a trip to Martha’s Vineyard and we “found” this at a Crabtree and Evelyn store. He sniffed it and told me that I must have it. He still loves it, but I now wear it mostly for nostalgic reasons because I find it to be too soapy and synthetic.

I thought I would hate this. I don’t know why, but I just had a hunch. Despite having notes that I adore, when I first got my nose on this stuff I was proven right. This is not pleasant…. and I can’t put my finger on why, but I will start with the one thing I do know, it smells synthetic, sickeningly sweet in a chemically way like a big black sharpie marker. Since I had the hunch that I would hate it, I never spritzed it on myself, just on a card, so for anyone else who dares to give this stuff a chance, let me know if the drydown on skin is more pleasant.

Why do they keep discounting good scents? This being one of them.
