No-surprise fougere with a synth / sharp edge. Not much to add honestly…
Rating: 5.5-6/10

Pineapple dominant fragrances are usually a no-go for me. More often than not I don’t like the way pineapple smells on me, but Jovoy Paris Fougere is different. The pineapple accord is more tame, not nearly as juicy and sour as I expected it to be.
This fragrance is really pleasant, an all season masculine. It opens with some sweet pineapple, crisp lime and a touch of aromatic, green basil. It’s very refreshing but also quite smooth and wearable.
The sandalwood and oakmoss drydown adds a unique creamy aspect to this composition. Nothing clashes, it’s just a harmonious blend from beginning to end.
Fougere is not the most unique fragrance around, but it is a scent of excellent quality. I think it should appeal to almost anyone. All those dislikes surprise me. If you didn’t like it, please elaborate on what it was that you found unpleasant.
The sillage may be weak, but the lasting power is great. I have enjoyed every Jovoy Paris scent I have tried so far. Fougere is an essential addition to any man’s wardrobe. I highly recommend it.

This a classy scent for men, it’s rather sharp at the very beginning, very aromatic, but it becomes calmer and more complex in a few minutes. Very sexy and masculine, it’s tender, but I can’t imagine it on a woman.
