romaxados – :
I get freesia and apple at the beginning. It has some sharpness but it softens after a while. Versatile and long lasting scent best for spring and summer. And it turns more into floral green than floral fruity at least for my nose.
Shnappps – :
I am a little unsure about how to describe this scent, it may pass as a chypre floral despite not containing OBVIOUS citruses.
It could be classified as fruity gourmand but that is far from truth as well as I doubt one feels the urgent need to buy and eat a couple of sour apples when one smells this perfume.
However, the spring scent is a very, very fresh one. I can detect lots of sour green apples; the apples being the loudest note in this perfume.
I detect a hint of tea (more like rosehip, almost like in J Lo’s Still, and deffo no standard English tea) as well which would make sense as the fragrance smells like a granny smith apple ice tea if such a thing existed.
It’s the perfect fragrance for late spring when it is almost summer.
This fragrance perfectly captures those early mornings in late spring, the time when one begins to keep their bedroom windows open at night and when it is still a bit chilly when you get up in the morning, let’s say at 5, because of the fresh air…
You would them have a shower, dress for summer but would still wear a cardi on your way to work. And you would wear this spring fragrance!
Le Nez au Vent au Printemps had good lasting power, too!
I would buy it (and any other Folies de Saisons frags) again.
Recommended!!!
