Say goodbye to this fragrance. It’s now discontinued and no longer in production. The fragrance is in sell through mode and is being replaced with Nectar. If you love this one, stock up while you can still find it.

I think that this Flowerbomb Extreme is likely similar to the case of Tom Ford Noir Extreme EDP. They are both extremely good and pleasant to my nose. “Extreme” in these cases does not mean louder, bolder, or will project stronger. It actually means smoother, creamier, rounder, deeper and more developed.
The scent and notes pretty much stay the same, but certain ones were added and stand out a little more to give the composition a much better feel. It is more “mature” and “perfected” than the original I suppose. I really enjoy this one especially for evening events and wear Flowerbomb for day time now.

Delicious. Great balance. Never too sweet, rather edible in a good way. Definitive flourmand, I’d say. Grown up LVEB. This will get you loads of compliments girls. Just saying!!! 🙂

I really love this. It’s not a Flowerbomb, but a floral gourmand. Somewhere, something in it reminds me of Jimmy Choo. The patchouli is beautifully blended in and it keeps the perfume from getting sickly sweet. If I imagined a woman wearing this, she’d be spontaneous, friendly and generous and wouldn’t mind wearing this both on a morning as on an evening, both in spring and fall. This is not a pretentious smell, but it’s definitely not anonymous. Very powerful, yet honest frag.

I really do like this fragrance and I think it’s a very mature(in a good way) spicy floral. It certainly is my kind of floral… It’s bold and unique. But, the performance and longevity are really poor on my skin… I didn’t test on paper or fabric so I wouldn’t know about that. Such a shame…
    ————————————————–
I’ve got a sample of this so I could test it properly. It had moderate longevity and sillage on my skin, so it wasn’t weak like I initially thought. It smells really similar to La vie est belle EDP; which in my opinion, is a very strong, “in your face” kind of fragrance. It’s the kind of perfume you can only wear in the winter. Unfortunately, both Flowerbomb Extreme and LVEB are too cloying and warm to my nose. But I think Flowerbomb certainly smells better in comparison to LVEB,

I think this is the one I tested in a perfume shop. Well, the notes list the same as in Flowerbomb Original but with added benzoin and vanilla. Let me tell you that it is not extreme. As a scent it is not more intense, as for longevity neither. Neither is sillage extreme. I can’t really tell you if it’s better than the Original, because we are talking about different perfumes.
It is soft, round, with a SEAMLESS blend, all notes develop, no need to refer to any of them. It’s balmy, the sweetness of the vanilla is not gourmand in my opinion and the benzoin is more pronounced than patchouli. A soft elastic benzoin that adds sensuality. You might sneeze in the opening of the perfume; medicinal patch, it tames quickly
A very ladylike, not loud, well-behaved springy and summery perfume.
    A yes from me.

A sweeter, smoother, “night time” version of Flowerbomb with less sharp patchouli. Great “going out” scent that’s not too formal or heavy.

@assbleeder,you took the words from my mouth.I completely agree with your review
When first sprayed,I find it has a lot in common with original flower bomb but as time passes, familiar scent of flower bomb gets more rounded and finds a warm, soft balsamic undertone
Flowerbomb was a love at first sniff for me.I added it to my collection after a longtime but I don’t use it as much as I thought I’d do.I crave it rarely because it’s very sharp sweetness is usually nauseating(and I have a huge sweet tooth!) it’s patchouli sometimes feels too much and a tad dirty.I always thought it needs something to become perfect.something like vanilla
And now I have it.flowerbomb extreme is exactly what I wished flowebomb to be.it has beautiful flowers of flowerbomb,a floral bouquet that you don’t need to be a floral fan to love it.patchouli is there but less dirty and less in your face.warm and creamy base notes of vanilla, benzoin, amber and musk ground flower-patchouli combo and make it smooth.my beloved sugary bergamot tea which makes flowebomb a love for me is still detectable here and I can enjoy it even more.now that vanilla and benzoin have softened edges of patchouli, this honeyed bergamot tea has more place to show up and add a pleasant edge to this creamy, delicious concoction
All in all Flowebomb extreme is too much similar to flowerbomb,so there’s no need to buy both of them(unless flowerbomb I’d among your top favorites)now that I have them both(and also flower bomb rose expulsion)if I had to choose just one of them to keep I’d choose extreme.it has a powdery, cuddly, delicious and enveloping drydown which forces me to smell myself like crazy. It’s a fall/winter fragrance and more of a night scent.it’s sultry, inviting and while being deliciously sweet,it’s definitely an adult fragrance
On my skin Longevity is great, much more than flowerbomb but it’s not as loud and screamy as it’s sharper sibling.still it has very good projection.you can’t go unnoticed wearing it and it’s a true compliment getter
If you like flowerbomb but feel something is missing so you can’t fully like it,also if you’re into floriental vanillas make sure to try this one
By the way it can’t be a limited edition since I see it around almost everywhere for a couple of years
    ❤❤❤❤❤

Hmmm. For me-as we will all “smell” a perfume differently…this perfume is a sweet sexy floral. Heady at first, I detect jasmine freesia and orchid, loads of sweet tea and vanilla.
After dry down I smell a rich benzoin and amber heart, freshen with orange blossom-which is still very potent.
For me-this settles into a skin scent. Not sure why, but I’m not picking it up after a couple of hours. It’s gone. On a hot day-I get a subtle lingering plume, maybe 3 hours later-but by evening I’m ready to put on more, or try another perfume. (Which I don’t like doing!)
Of course this means a low score for sillage.
So because I really do adore this perfume I’m mindful of how it “wears” on me.
For a romantic fun day with the family or husband…this is my go to scent. Especially as an every day scent and great for ballroom-(I’m a dancer) not too strong for others.
For a more outgoing dramatic adventure choose something more provocative and loud!

Sexy describes how this fragrance makes you feel. The original flowerbomb is a feminine, flirty, feel-good type of perfume appropriate for day time; whereas this is suitable for night time. This version is sexier, more sensual and sophisticated.
You have the floral notes as the name implies but it’s complimented with vanilla and amber. It’s creamy and somewhat sweet. The fragrance lasts well and the inital spray isn’t much of a change from the dry down. Testing on paper doesn’t do this justice!

Can i say that this perfume is sexiness in a bottle?! Maybe not pure sexiness, maybe a mix of it and something else…but this perfume Smells amazing. The only thing is it doesnt stay on me for a long time which is strange because it feels like one that will last. I can smell berries, especiaily blackcurrant, but not those cheap berries perfumes. It is an Expensive smell. It is deffenetly a fall time perfume, one that will cover you like a soft blanket. I can imagine nice black lace lenjerie and this perfume toghether. I can imagine a little bit of tension between two persons and the expectation of a passionale kiss.

I’m reviewing the 2016 version I found today at Sephora. The bottle looks exactly the same but the notes list, according to Sephora is a bit different:
Bergamot, Sambac Jasmine, Freesia, Centifolia Rose, Patchouli, Benzoin, Vanilla Absolute, Woody Notes.
I’m sorry for putting this review here but a page for the 2016 version doesn’t exist and I figure someone thinking of buying it might want to read this.
Unlike the original Flowerbomb, this one packed a muted-yet-cloying punch of vanilla-benzoin that really made my nose unhappy. They’d do better to name this Flowerbomb Gourmand or Flowerbomb Bonbon. Especially in hot, humid weather, this is a bad idea. The only flower that really made it through past the vanilla-benzoin smoke cloud was the freesia and somehow the whole thing just felt incomplete. Like someone tried to bake a cake, added too much sugar and not enough butter and the whole thing came out weird.
I guess I was hoping Flowerbomb “Extreme” would be more ‘extreme’ in terms of flowers so my disappointment comes from there. You should still try it out but I suggest highly against blind-buying.

Despite it’s name “Flowerbomb Extreme”, it is the more sensual, creamy version of the original. They both smell very similar, but FE is more heavy on the vanilla and benzoin, and the patchouli is cleaner, which takes away some of the cloying sharpness of the original. I also get a “honey” accord from this, which probably comes from the benzoin and bergamot. The clean patchouli + honey note kind of gives off an English tea-like smell. Think of the creamiest, most decadent Earl Grey splashed with a bit of honey. Needless to say, I prefer this one much more and it is also less strong and more of skin-scent.

To me it smells like the EDP, only the begginning is sharper, darker, louder. Other than that I see no difference. It’s a lovely creamy scent that resembles a shower cream. Sillage on me is discrete (as with all perfumes), longevity is good (7+ hours of wear).

  16. :

    5 out of 5

This is sweeter than the EDP it is gorgeous but has low longevity so I layer it with the EDP and it smells amazing. highly complimented fragrance

I got this when it was on sale and I absolutely adore it ! It has everything I love in the original minus the harsh tea. It’s creamier and more pleasant to the nose when smelled up close. But don’t go expecting a very different scent, it’s actually pretty similar to EDP, just a bit rounder due to the vanilla. If I smelled it on a stranger, I would assume it was the original.
All in all, I’m very happy with this one. Victor&Rolf have never dissapointed me with their fragrances, even the new one, Bonbon smells very nice.
Longevity: Pretty good, last a lot on clothes.
Sillage: I’d say moderate to heavy if sprayed more than twice.

I bought this because I love the original Flowerbomb. I don’t love the extreme version, I only like it. It is more like a vanilla bomb on me. The vanilla comes out on this, and that is all I can smell. It just doesn’t have that “something special” about it that I find in Flowerbomb. This scent is done, and done better by LVEB. Feels like FB without its soul. I am going to see if I can return it and get the original. This doesn’t last as long or smell as pretty. Sometimes the original can’t be topped. Happy smelling! 🙂

Since this is up on Sephora for the moment…I thought I’d get my review up before it sells out again.
So I’ll start with the fact that I put this on 24 hours ago and it’s still going…which is impressive. On me this is definitely a skin scent and clothing does not do it justice…if you want the full experience. When it comes to notes, I love how this fragrance evolves…on me it starts out with a rich vanilla-ey fruity-floral that jumps straight to the middle. In the beginning I get a sweet fruity note (I’d say is the osmanthus), the vanilla comes in with a bang, so does the orchid. I only get a touch of jasmine and patchouli…just enough to play but not enough to take over. As this fragrance progresses, the vanilla sticks around for a long while and so does the orchid but the fruiti-ness starts to die down. Here is where the amber and benzoin come in and become the key players for the final round. Meanwhile…the vanilla and orchid take a back seat and the jasmine/patchouli essentially bow out.
This is a beautifully and well blended fruity-floral fragrance that’s anchored by vanilla, amber and benzoin- giving a warm and cozy feeling…just like your favorite sweater.
P.S. I agree with the review below…it is expensive yes but it’s impeccably blended and gives a bang for your buck. I sprayed one spritz on each wrist (enough for a moderate sillage) and it’s STILL GOING 24 hours later…very happy with this purchase!

I have the original Flowerbomb. It’s delicious. This Extreme version is serious! Takes no prisoners. . Hits all the bells and whistles. You want sexy, its got it. Attitude? Yep its got that too!..Great for the evening into early morning;) Beware: IT’S ADDICTIVE and EXPENSIVE 《but worth it》
    HAPPY NEW YEAR FRAGRANTICANS!!!

I’ve been using Flowerbomb for a while now but started getting tired of it a little. I got La Vie en Rose for a change, and, to tell you the truth, liked it even more than original. But it had no staying power and I’ve used it all within days.
I decided to try the Extreme version because I’ve read some good reviews about it. What can I say, I love it! It’s very similar to the original, but there is something in base notes that makes me wanna keep smelling it over and over again!
I had a perfume with similar notes at some point and I’ve been looking for something similar for a while now. I don’t remember the name or notes, but I remember the smell. And one of those base notes is the same! I don’t know if it’s Amber, or a combination of a couple of them. But I love it!
Great perfume. Perfect for Flowerbomb lovers!

    I absolutely adore Flowerbomb extreme!
it smells amazing, from beginning to end it is perfection, to me its got a kind of berry smell, vanilla, sweet, but not too sweet(i find Black Opium reminds me of a much sweeter more basic and weaker version of FB Extreme) and there’s also some warm rich elements in there also which I can’t name. Subtle patchouli which I love(I often wear straight up patchouli and think its a very sexy, in your face, scent), and my mother always comments that I am wearing bergamot but I am not familiar with that scent, but it appears she is right after reading the notes on this page.
I I instantly fell in love with it, I sprayed 3 different V+R fragrances onto identical cards one day, and one of them I could not stop sniffing, and it took me probably over a month to find out that it was the EXTREME variety I was looking for, as many stores in my city only seemed to carry the original flowerbomb and the bow shaped fragrance of which I can’t think of the name. I’m going into every store and saying ‘No, I know its not flower bomb, it was different and way better’. Thankfully I eventually found it again, and the 30ml bottle lasted me well over a year with me wearing it about twice a week. Will definitely n get the big bottle when I purchase again which I need to do right now.
Extreme makes me feel so sexy, and its like a love potion to my husband… he thinks its as delicious as I do.

Perfection pure. Sparkly yet smoky and still sweet! The mixture is hard to beat. One of the sexiest perfumes out there!!! Heavenly….

  24. :

    4 out of 5

I do love this. As others have already pointed out, it is Flowerbomb plus vanilla. It’s better in terms of blending and I think it is more mature and more respectable, if that makes sense! It would work for more women who were turned off by the spun sugar aspect of the original. I can’t help but want to try the golden bottle version for comparison though….never happy, are we??? 😉 But I am glad I have this and will likely wear it during cooler months instead of the original. Neither have lasted more than four hours on my skin so no improvements in that department and over spraying is NOT the solution! Learned that the hard way. Keeping a smaller purse spray for reapplication is the only way to keep this fresh on a long day. But, it’s worth it. I’m happy with it!

  25. :

    3 out of 5

Now, don’t get me wrong. I absolutely love flowerbomb with all my heart. I will probably always wear it. I read reviews about flowerbomb extreme and decided to try for myself. I got the 50 ml bottle. And it smells very similar, with maybe a touch more vanilla than the original. But on my skin, it doesn’t last nearly as long as the original edp. Maybe 5 hours compared to the 10+that I am used to with my original bottle. While I will enjoy using up the bottle I have, I will not be repurchasing.
    Keep shining, you beautiful people!

  26. :

    4 out of 5

I love this!!! It’s so beautiful and reminds me of the original. I just can’t put my finger on how it’s different. It seems creamier, but extreme? Hmmm. I feel that if you can’t afford this one then you aren’t missing out by just getting the original. – Still, I can’t stop smelling myself so I guess my reaction to smelling this is why it is called extreme.

  27. :

    3 out of 5

Wow, this is gorgeous. Like Flowerbomb but better- smoother, better blended, creamier and a little stronger. I do think the sillage is a little closer to skin than the original, but it’s not a skin scent- more more just moderate projection. There is definitely a nice amount of vanilla in this. Longevity is great.. I’m really impressed, hit the “love” button like so many others have done 🙂

  28. :

    5 out of 5

This is pure perfection. It has that gorgeous signature Flowerbomb scent, but is creamier and softer than the original. It’s simply delicious. I will always love Flowerbomb Extreme.

oh my god. must be the best perfume EVEEEEER. the smell- oh my god. theres nothing like flowerbomb and its flankers! its fun to see that so many have pushed the button “love” on this:D i am one of them!

There is nothing “extreme” about this perfume, in fact its proof that if something is perfect, dont mess with it!
Yes the smell is heaven. Like Flowerbomb but the dry down is creamier and a tad less floral.
Problem? An hour later the perfume has all but disappeared from my wrist. Perhaps its just my chemistry but i had Flowerbomb on the other wrist and it was still going strong hours later.
Stick to the original, perfect scent, perfect longevity, perfect sillage…. if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it! 🙂

Delicious sweetness! It is just as divine as the original. Seductive, sensual, comforting, magical… good words doesn’t want to end. Just perfect.
Orchid, vanilla and patchouli are nicely mixed together in this sweet dreamy scent.
    Simply stunning!

  33. :

    5 out of 5

Extreme smells almost the same as the orig EDP but it wears closer to the skin , its a touch creamier and a little more sweet yet. It actually has vanilla were as the other one just smells of vanilla. Together the benzoin and vanilla make this a little thicker and more cloying. I like both. I slighlty prefer this one but on a different day at a different time I may like the original just as much !
Both are a vanilla cotton candy smell for all the gourmand lovers out there. It wears nice and pretty and sure gets compliments. Its a tamer Angel , a softer coco Mademoiselle , its a little girls dream and a woman’s best friend. Its flowerbomb !

  34. :

    3 out of 5

Definitely better than the original Flowerbomb, which basically smells like a sharp sweet tea to me. The Extreme is smoother, more centered on vanilla, patchouli and benzoin. I wouldn’t call it delicious or gourmand, but the scent is sweet and creamy; the dry-down is the best part.

  35. :

    5 out of 5

Much smoother fragrance than the original, lacks a bit of the bite of the original so if you like that real patchouli nose tingling smell, you might prefer that one. This one is much more gourmand and creamy, I smell a lot less of the floral notes here. I kind of imagine that if Prada ever made a ‘Prada Candy Night’ this is what it might smell like (probably the benzoin note.) I know other reviewers feel it packs more of a punch, but for me the creamy-ness makes it more cozy, and on my skin it is much less spicy. I think it differs from La Vie Est Belle in that the patchouli is much more clean than the almost dirty patchouli in the latter, and lacks the fruity notes. I really like it, but I need to wear it for a bit longer to see how I really feel. I loved La vie est belle so much I grew tired of it, so perhaps this one might be better for me. However with the similarities I’m not sure if I would pick this over Jimmy Choo. Will have to keep wearing it and see!

i smell some chocolate in there similiar to Loverdose. I like the vanilla and the “darkness” in this one over the original. to me, a perfect going out fragrance.

  37. :

The original eau de parfum smells different than this one. Extreme is better.
Can be worn to work without fumigating the office due to its creaminess…. and beyond work.

I own the original Flowerbomb Extreme that came out before 2013, and it looks exactly like this one. did they do a 2013 version that looks exactly the same or something? im really confused now.

  40. :

Love this one! Smells amazing. The rep told me this was a 20% concentrate, which is comparable to a pure parfum. It’s definitely stronger than the original. I think it smells a little smoother and more well blended, like dannysmom said. I would actually consider shelling out the money for this one, to be honest. Love it.

  41. :

    4 out of 5

The only thing EXTREME about this perfume is the price,LOL!

  42. :

    3 out of 5

While spraying Flowerbomb Extreme 2013, the scent is reminescent of the original Flowerbomb, only much more intense and more rounded. However, with time it becomes sweeter and develops into a praline scent which is very close to Lancôme La Vie est Belle.
The sillage of this edition is quite good, better than the origianl. The longevity is 12h+. This is a pretty adorable gourmand fragrance and I prefer this extreme edition to the original Flowerbomb. If I hadn’t already got La Vie est Belle, I’d probably go for this one.

  43. :

    5 out of 5

I did not like the original Flowerbomb , but love the extreme 2013. Fruity, vanilla, a virtual smorgasbord of great smells. I did a lot os sniffing to get to this treasure.

  44. :

    5 out of 5

The previous extreme is yummy, its a touch stronger on the vanilla creamy notes and lasts longer and is warmer as the original is lil fruity creamy floral sweet…so i believe this 2013 extreme is gonna be just a re-vamp of the old one…i do love it!

  45. :

    5 out of 5

I bought this, and I absolutely love it. Unfortunately, I cannot compare it to the previous extreme because I’ve never smelled that version. I don’t know if it’s the same or different, but I do know that I love this one.
Original flowerbomb sometimes goes harsh on me with the patchouli. This is a similar scent, but better blended and smoother. It’s creamier, and more delicious. Longevity and sillage is about the same as the original on me.
I now own both original and extreme, and this version is a great buy for me.
