Here i am with my third review, more than a year after my last one. And now, in winter time.
Thanks to the fragrance goddesses, this one behave completely different in colder months (since in the heat, it turns into a choke monster to my nose).
Now i can “see” the beautiful winter forest. The spicy-woody air, the green all around me, the sweetness of the little flowers when i reach for them.

“Walking Path” **
I meant a walk through an equatorial forest. Woods and resins, and tropical flowers, is what your nose would get from life.
Not in this scent though, my expectations thumbed down.
Just a powdery concoction, that’s all you get here.
Move away.

Update from my last review: Recently i tried Terre D’Hermès, and loved it, and it made me remember of Floresta.
They’re not the same, they don’t smell alike, maybe they don’t even share the same intentions, but it made me remember.
The same “in with the nature” feeling, with fresh woods and spices, river running along, flowers in the background kind of thing. But Floresta slaps you in the face with that feeling and keeps kicking you with it even after you’re laying down on the ground holding yourself, then dragging you to the woods, while Terre comes a little shyer and embraces you till you look around and see you’ve been left in the middle of a forest.

I agree with everything @Physalis said, but the flower part. Maybe i’m too used to sweet flowers, so i don’t identify them a lot in this one.
I would just add that the start, at least for me, is kinda mossy. Kinda ‘old’, but not in a bad way. Is kinda traditional, herbal, reminds me of that nice cozy sweater you left in the wardrobe, and now that the weather is getting cold, you pick it up again.
This herbal thing sticks a lot in my skin. After a while, you can feel the dry woody notes, and than, the powdery ones (probably the flowers standing out).
Anyway, is an AMAZING fragrance. I can see myself wearing this both in winter or summer.
Maybe it lacks the character to be a signature scent, but still, a must-have.

It is a pleasure to review this fragrance.
I will start by saying that Amazonia Viva fragrances are petroleum free and made with natural botanical ingredients from Amazonian Rainforest.
FLORESTA has one of the most interesting developments I have experienced.
It opens up in a very refreshing way, somehow camphorated, resinous and herbal as if we had bathed in cold waterfalls. This effect lasts for about five minutes when we realize the stimulating outcome provided for Ylang-Ylang, oriza (amazonian patchouli) and aromatic notes. Slowly the fragrance fades its invigorating and intense character and approachs a floral, slightly woody (due to copaiba essential oil) and absolutely powdery drydown conferred particularly by Bulgarian Rose note.
It seems that our refreshing bath in waterfalls was transformed into a delicate floral bouquet, gingerly sweet, powdery and refined that can last for hours on skin and clothes.
A surprising, high quality fragrance, nurtured on principles of sustainability and respect for biodiversity.
