This perfume reminds me of my grandmother’s house, filled to the hall with bouquets of carnations and smelling wonderful. Her friend used to work at the flower market and brought her all the bouquets that weren’t sold so the scent of carnation takes me back to my youth. Another perfume that lasts all day and is pure quality.

I don’t have a very well trained nose, but I pick up different things whenever I wear this. There is a mixture of floral notes for sure but often it smells like a lovely fresh and vibrant bunch of carnations (yes I know they do not always have a strong smell) wrapped in paper….or a mixed bunch of smaller flowers like freesias and little roses next to an old paperback book. I love it and have not smelled anything else like it. Very clever and I like the story that goes with it too. A scent with character… Certainly far from run of the mill designer scents in department stores. Worth seeking out and if you get the samples you can tell the are there before you open them! Lasts well on me too… Which is rare!
