Description
Fleur de Lys is a new flower in fragrant collection by Princesse Marina de Bourbon.
Fleur de Lys was created as the key which opens the door to magic garden full of greenery and flowers. Refreshing, tart notes add a feeling of joy and grace, while a floral heart is built around lilies, the whole edition was dedicated to.
Composition of Fleur de Lys aims at cheerful and smiling woman who enjoys nature and finds harmony of body and spirit in it.
Top notes announce a fresh and green opening – apple zest is mixed with bamboo leaves and ripe lemons. A heart features floral notes of white lily surrounded with jasmine, hyacinth and white roses. A base is elegant, intense, warm and woody. Highlighted notes of cedar and precious wood are accompanied by amber and sensual musk.
The fragrance is arriving in a traditional flacon with bright green liquid. Its outer carton is decorated with white and pale green lily and charming lady bugs. Fleur de Lys is available as 30 and 50 ml EDP from summer 2010.

I’m glad I held off on reviewing this one, as it’s slowly grown on me. I’m not sure what it is about Marina perfumes, but they all look and smell rather cheap to me, despite a relatively high price point. Even their newer ones just look dated.
I’ve tried several of their fragrances and found them all pleasant, but generic and a bit boring.
This one, on the other hand, was interesting enough for me to give it a second and third chance. It’s soft and fresh without being too sweet. I don’t think it will ever draw any sort of attention, it’s more the sort of thing for enjoying a book by yourself in the sunshine.

Most of all I feel in this fragrance the sourness of the lemon and green apple notes and the white flowers notes (in general, but none of them alone).
It’s fresh, light, sour and long-lasting. The sillage of it is nice enough.
Not great, but not bad. I rather like it than don’t.
De Shu – :
nice scent, very refreshing, perfect for hot summer days & nights, I have just tried a sample and IMO it’s similiar to Lanvin Eclat D’Arpege
grid2008 – :
Fresh Lemon for a sunny day of summer.

After 2 hours on my skin I still can smell only citrus, just less intensive than at the beginning. In the first moment it strongly reminded me Light Blue of Dolce and Gabbana, but Light Blue modificates by the time and one can smell various parts of the parfume. Fleur de Lys in mono scent. Citrus.

Versace Versence is almost identical, but obviously better quality.

The more I smell this perfume on my skin and in comparison to other fragrances along the same lines but higher quality ( Oscar Bamboo, Absolutely Givenchy and florals from YSL), the more i realize how mediocre it is…..sharp, very flat and linear. I seams like there is only one note in it….a citrusy smell of dishwashing liquid or all purpose cleaner.
Marina de Bourbon perfumes smell wondefully in the bottle…but on the skin it’s a disaster! I ordered Lys, eau de Lys and Lys paradise, but i know they are going back right away. I would rather spend more on D&G and Gucci. In this case you get what you pay for..cheap stuff

Starts with bright citrus at the top. Then the lily and hyacinth starts to dominate at the center stage, but still subtly covered by the citrus. I can’t smell any roses here. the drydown is smells like clean musk with a little touch of woodsy notes.
Very refreshing, clean and uplifting. Perfect for hot summer days. Very Miss Dior Cherie L’eau-esque in IMO.
