I have both Fleur de Chocolat and Silk, Lace & Chocolate by 4160 Tuesdays, and on my skin they are very similar. The only difference is I find 4160T to be fuller bodied and rounder in composition. There is something sharp that comes out on my skin with the Molinard. However, it is still a lovely fragrance and now almost impossible to find, so I would definitely recommend you seek out 4160T to replace that chocolate strawberry milkshake with a dash of Baileys.

Smells like Bailey’s. Good for the winter holidays.
dav275 – :
I detect the very weak blackcurrant and the tangerine acting like an accent to largely a chocolate caramel fragrance. Its a very pretty light chocolate and caramel fragrance that sadly is very weak and very fleeting!
Tortik – :
This smells like Mars chocolate
levko11 – :
if anyone is interested, I have a bottle of Fleur de Chocolat. Got it as a gift, but its not really my style((( I have listed it on Ebay, Im located in CA, check it. Theres only one bottle i guess and its mine.
kaimetov77 – :
i’m picking up a more notes than the three that are listed, or maybe i’m just weird??
at first, it is this burst of newly unwrapped chocolate. after that, comes the warm spice, musk and fragrant vanilla. the drydown on me is more of a chocolate caramel, with whiffs of blackcurrant. it’s a journey, albeit a quick one, but at least the drydown is nice.
sadly, the projection is laughable. i can barely smell it when i put my arms down.

I guess, the name “Fleur de Chocolat” lets every single one dream of their own special chocolate dream, for some it might be floral, for some it might be milk chocolate, for some it might be Angel, for me it is the dark chocolate of Neonatura Cocoon (have I recently shouted out loud enaugh on this website about the stupidity of discontinuing it? No? Now I did.) or Borneo 1834.
Guess what? We are all let down! Dissappointment. It is a very badly made and not good smelling floral. Meh… Molinard, the enigma: Sometimes they hit hard, more often they fail big time.
koppin – :
Nothing special. A weak chocolatenote mixed with
a bit of vanilla. I get a bitter touch to it.
And as it is to weak even if you spray several times it is just useless to buy it.
A pitty Chokolovers by Aquolina is discontinued as it was a really good chocolate perfume.
lin22 – :
nice very soft milky chocolate which will not offend others but not satisfying my chocolate craving 🙁 i’m wearing it to the office and i find it very safe and BORING. no caramel at all and sits very close to skin
walkman88 – :
Not bad .. But different then i expected it to be . I can not see fruts listed , but this smells kind off fruity chocolate to me. light sweet chocolate. not dark and rich . more like a milky chocolat shake purhaps.. at least in the begining, It sits pretty close to skin . at least on me. When it dryes down abot the vanilla and caramell steps forward and makes it wonderfull.
i ca not compare it to that many other chocolate perfumes , but the closes is Egeo Choc.. this to me is nothing like Chocolate greedy
I got a bottle but think it will go for swapps.. at least i finaly got to try it. but it does not suit me .. to close to skin , a bit to fruity for my taste

If I can save anyone from a disappointing blind-buy of this discontinued and hard-to-come-by fragrance, then my time writing this review will not be wasted.
I always try to avoid making statements like the one I’m about to make, because we all have our own taste and who am I to call into question anyone else’s taste, but here goes:
I don’t see what the fuss is about. This perfume is extremely simple and unexciting to me, a very light and unsubstantial dusting of cocoa powder (like what you mix with milk and give to kids for a snack) with a very faint fruity/floral/musky something or other in the background. Very light and polite. (It seems to have something in common with the pleasant base of Oriflame Amber Elixir, I’m guessing it’s the black current/musk combination?)
I feel confident in stating that anyone looking for a nice, pleasant, chocolate scent can do much better than this one, without chasing ghosts of the discontinued across the globe on Ebay.

I am not fond of chocolates scents, but Molinard is a brand that carries excellent fragrances, and Fleur de Chocolat is one of them. It smells of a good quality chocolate, with a hint of spices, not thick or syrupy, simply fingerlicking good. Light , very wearable, more than Chocolovers which was heavy on cocoa powder. Nicely done.
Pasheco5 – :
you can get this on ebay…its $30 tho for 50ml its from an international seller from poland
shahdav – :
Habanita is my beloved fragrance from Molinard.
I had high hopes about Fleur de Chocolat, maybe too high.
I throught it would be very sweet and warm, it would be the best chocolate scent I could imagine but on me it’s quite fresh, delicate and light.
Just after application I do feel yummy dark chocolate aroma. That phase is mouthwatering, I would love to feel it much longer.
But after a while all I can smell is slightly sweet tangerine and brackcurrant. It turns into fruity aroma on me.
Lasting power and sillage are unfortunately week.
I like Fleur de Chocolat but we don’t love each other.
dt75max – :
Could anybody tell me where I can find this?
oplan – :
This was my second blind buy after reading awesome reviews on here. I LOVE this perfume! Worn it three times and had male compliments three times! Delicious smell and has reasonable lasting power but only if i spray it about 5 times (initial application).
arkdev – :
Yummy, breathtaking, addictive, unbelievably delicious! It is like sipping a cup of cocoa or a delicious truffle.
electrospeed – :
Surprisingly… nice. Very natural [not synthetic or plastic] and literal milk chocolate with hints of red fruits’ marmalade. Base notes are more powdery and dry, but still smelling tasty ;]
RhineeRibia – :
Wearing this perfume is like climbing inside a very fragrant, extravagantly expensive box of chocolates.
It’s a veritable selection box of plain dark chocolates, caramel creams, rum and cognac candies and luscious fruit centers.
After the inital boozy and fruity opening fades, what ensues is the stunning aroma of decadent and delightful dark chocolate.
It’s thick and rich, and yet not at all cloying, even in the heat. Probably because it never gets too sweet, but maintains a subtle chocolatey bitterness all the way throgh.
It smells very natural and realistic, and lasts well. The sillage isn’t too strong, but this is a “come closer” scent, that will make you appear edible.
Unfortunately Molinard seems to have discontinued this fragrance (for some reason that I can’t fathom). But if you find a bottle for sale, then snap it up!
Fleur de Chocolat is in my top three scents from the house of Molinard. A beautiful gourmand. Perfect for winter.
e008ee – :
The opening is boozy sweet and simple – you can not say, what it is. The opening is not so breathtaking than the develop. After 10 minutes I detected heavenly nice dark chocolate smell, not sweet in sugary way but sweet in the spicy way. Yummy!!!!
It stay on me from the evening to the morning, even if this is only EdT. A fragrance with high quality – typical Molinard. Mouthwatering. Even the thinking of this makes me mouthwatering. Now, I have to go to my closet and put it on again. Addictive. Ahhhh!
kenlod – :
This is a yummy and good-to-wear-scent. When I had it, people asked me what I was wearing. It’s a good chocolate scent without being girlish. Though I find it very similar to Daniel Jouvance Expeau² (aka Galerie Noemie aka Yves Rocher). So if you can get your hand on that one better or cheaper, they seem quite close in scent.
magery – :
I sent for a 2.5ml sample…OMG!!! I wanted to eat my wrist after spraying it!!! This smells good enough to eat!!! A MUST for chocolate lovers!!!
tzon – :
A nice, light, refined chocolate scent. Lillybee & Amanda say it all 🙂
Delicate, not too heavy, sweet or cloying. Slightly lifted by a whisper of floral notes & smoothed by musk, this is exactly what you would expect to find from a nice upper class chocolate scent.
Personally, I prefer the nutty, intense Chocolovers – heavier & more direct, it packs a punch & has a better lasting power.
SeiYA – :
I bought this with Mirea, also a Molinard offering, I discovered on a trip to Grasse, the perfume capital of France. The chocolate aroma is sweet and creamy as opposed to e.g. Avon Extraordinary where it is bitter and citrusy. The heart does smell even softer with the caramel and vanilla. Initially I though I captured some floral notes but that may be the connotations to the name of the fragrance. By the way, chocolate flower does exist, its Latin name is Berlandiera lyrata, it apparently has a delicious chocolate aroma especially in the morning. Fleur de chocolat is a light, buttery soft and gourmand scent, the only problem is it doesn’t seem to last longer than 4 – 5 hours on my skin.
sergious – :
Fleur de Chocolat smells more like chocolate raspberries rather than blackcurrant. But as far as the other notes they come through on me equally; dark chocolate, vanilla, cocoa, caramel, musk and sandlewood. All very subtle. I’m getting a very faint smell of the tonka bean and frangipani compared to the other notes. Light, airy and fun! Could stand better lasting power though. The silage smells like creamy dark chocolate covered raspberries and lots of musk. The bottle is really cool and retro.
Canada Goose Down – :
I want this one!
The fragrance notes include powdered chocolate, tangerine, blackcurrant, dark chocolate, vanilla, frangipani, cocoa, caramel, tonka bean, musk and sandalwood.
csander – :
this is a GOURGEOUS chocolate aroma! not too sweet either, just the warmth of chocolate, with the caramel and vanilla just in there slightly. i might buy a bottle of this for the winter. WARNING: may make you hunt through your cupboards looking for chocolate bars!
