Description

Eau de toilette Fleur Cherie belongs to the cosmetic with the same name which arrives on the market in November 2010. The collection encompasses 75 ml eau de toilette, 250 ml body cream, 250 ml shower gel, 75 g soap and 30 ml hand cream.

Fleur Cherie EDT is created as an ode to white flowers growing at the Mediterranean and out of respect and admiration to their delicate sweet floral essences which decorate and highlight many compositions.

In the Middle Ages in Provence, brides used to wear garlands of orange blossom on the head, which further inspired the creators of the new edition of the house. All magic of this fragrance is based on the scent of orange blossom that blends with aromas of wood. This vibrant fragrance that brings calming notes includes neroli, blackcurrant buds, citrus, green notes in a top of the composition. A heart features orange blossom absolute, orange blossom water absolute, Sambac jasmine, while a base closes with patchouli, cedar and musk.

The fragrance is available in a glass bottle of 75ml EDT. The entire collection is expected on the market in November 2010.

I have a little decant of this that I got quite by chance, and I think it must have gone off at least a little, because I’m not getting much of anything out of it, much less the loveliness that others on this page have described. On me it’s mostly pretty sour and a little sharp, which could very well be a “fresh” aspect gone wrong. There’s a nice orange blossom note underneath to be sure, but it’s quite weak. And after an hour or so, it’s gone entirely.
So only the faintest echo of that lovely spring-appropriate note pyramid for me, which is just as well since it’s discontinued. I have to say I’m getting a little hesitant to try anything from l’Occitane; they’re worse than most when it comes to keeping things around (and this seems to apply to the longevity of their perfumes as well as to their lineup!)

Longing for it sadly. Why discontinue such treasures and carry on with the commoner gourmand fruities!!
Hermes le jardin de monseur li resembles it luckily

Yet another fragrance ruined for me by musk and patchouli. The creamy flowers are there, but standing behind a thick veil of musk and patchouli, giving it a scent of pleasant but very generic soapy musk. Not a successful blind buy for me.

I have such fond memories of this scent. Everytime I smell it, it takes me back to Paris to the l’occitane store by the Notre dame. I’m instantly transported to that cold autumn Sunday after mass, hearing the bells of the cathedral ringing, the cold winters air mixed with the smell of banana chocolate crepes next door and then this scent. Such a beautiful nostalgic smell. Pleasant perfume and long lasting on my skin.

It’s lovely, I’ve only half a bottle left so treasuring it and using sparingly.

At last I tried this fragrance last night at my local L’occitane shop & it’s not that close to dior j’adore l’eau cologne floral. It’s refreshing, lemoney & flowery yes but still not close enough to consider it as a dupe as the latter one discontined from the market to launch the new flanker of j’adore sadly. I don’t think I will give this fragrance another chance but the whole visit to l’occitane shop was such a pleasure & great experience & I’ll be getting some other fragrances specially the new rose one but this one, I don’t think so.

Ok. It´s lovely. But lasts for a mere minute. I have NO patience with this anymore. I could write interestingly ab it and why it is as good as Lancome´s LÓrangerie, but because it doesn´t last at ALL, it makes me angry, so bye-bye LÓccitane and all of your scents. This is the sixth rollerball from LÓccitane thar I have tried and all of them are loevly, but NONE last. To me that is a company that disrespect their customers. I am so pissed off at this company for over charging and over promising as a matter of fact I will call their head manager in EU and tell them so.

I got this from a friend who asked me to choose between a few l’Occitane fragrances. I chose Fleur Cherie based solely on the notes and it was pretty much what I expected, so I’m glad to say I like it.
Nice to wear on a Spring/Summer day, sweet, casual. makes a good office scent. Relatively long lasting on my skin and very soft. Barely noticeable by anyone else but myself.

Fresh and feminine, but without being overly sweet. An undistinctive yet eminently wearable fragrance. What I like so much is how natural it smells, so different to all those sugary artificial perfumes currently on the market.
But I heard today (on QVC) that Fleur Cherie will be discontinued? Might need to stock up!

I have not one, but two, favorite fragrance shops. The first one is Bath and Body Works. And just recently at my local mall, I have discovered L’Occitane en Provence. The background music is in French, the staff is warm, friendly, and speak French to you, and the fragrances as well as the staff are more mature than Bath and Body. My first and favorite fragrance is the light-smelling Fleur Cherie. I wear the roll-on every day now, and I will keep coming back. Merci beaucoup.

It was on sale in a French pharmacy in France so I bought it , it smells nice ,pretty. Clean, it is unremarkable nor is it a staple of haute parfumerie. Nonentheless, it is pleasant enough that I wear it once in a while. This is feminine. And casual, easy to wear on a spring day. Well done in its simplicity, but also very forgettable.

It’s a fresh and clean floral, but not something I’d pay 45 euros for. I’d suggest that one can buy something more original for the same price.

Fleur Cherie is quite a crisp and citrusy white floral. It’s fun, feminine and uplifting; the perfect fragrance for Spring or Summer.
Fleur Cherie tends to smell more like neroli than orange blossom to my nose. It doesn’t have that creamy, almost medicinal orange blossom note that I’m so used to smelling in perfume. The scent overall is quite green, citrusy and fresh. The dominant citrus blend is what makes this fragrance so summery.
It may not be the most unique fragrance from L’Occitane, but it sure is easy to like. It comes complete with many layering options. I really like Fleur Cherie’s matching hand soap and body lotion.
Fleur Cherie tends to sparkle on the skin, in a rather invigorating way. It’d be good to start the day wearing a fresh floral like Fleur Cherie. I’m actually quite impressed by how long this fragrance lasts on the skin. It is possible to get a full eight or more hours wear out of Fleur Cherie, without having to re-apply of course.
L’Occitane is known for discontinuing many of their fragrances, so it’s good to see Fleur Cherie on the shelves a few years after its release. Let’s hope that this pretty and crisp floral sticks around for a few more hot seasons.

And this one is a white flowers shower in a warm summer afternoon: fresh, flowery, romantic and light. It just pleases and pleases. so beautiful. I adore. It’s close to the skin and lasts about three hours, then needs another spray.

Nice one. Like a combination of pure poison and dolce gabanna light blue. Sweet and fresh. Reminds me of a warm spring day. But it definitely doesn’t last so long.

This’s the best perfume that I have. I don’t how to describe it. it smells like a fragrance from my childhood. It reminds me to someone in my childhood. But I think that this one is not too outdated. I like it so much. But I’m confused about when we can wear this perfume, day or night ? because I guess it’s too strong for day

kinda powdery, not really my style but bf got for me and i use it sometimes. its not too bad, ends up smelling clean, fresh smelling I guess because of the powder but for some, it probably seems more ‘mature’ than they might like.

This frag triggers me to inspire…Again and again, one more breath and once again…
Every sniff enlarges my lungs, lifts my mood up!!!
And it makes me thinkin’ of a bride’s hairs flowing on the spring wind…

I bought this perfume a while ago when on vacation in Hawaii from L’Occitane’s boutique. I love the smell of orange blossoms…but it unfortunately doesn’t last very long. It’s great for day wear, and has a sweet, clean, fresh scent. But I think next time, if I want a floral, orange blossom scent, I’ll go for L’O de L’Orangerie from Lancome.

DresdenDoll summed it up perfectly–pretty and light but shallow. Too mild for my tastes.

To me this fragrance is candied orange and freshly sharpened pencil; a counterpoint between sweet citrus and dry wood. I find that to be a very agreeable combination not just because it makes for a balanced scent, but also because it has an internal top-to-bottom logic which creates the effect of smelling an orange tree, the fruit and the branches together in one sweep. The scent is well-anchored and delicious. It recalls all the joyous things in life and gives you an appetite for them. The overall effect is naive and good-humored, reminiscent of a day at school when the summer holiday is fast approaching.
I think this fragrance falls within the European eau de cologne tradition as it is refreshing to respray when it starts to fade in 3-4 hours. Layering the scented shower gel with the eau de toilette feels luxurious.

I have the solid version. I like it that it is very smooth and easy to apply. Easy to carry around. I would carry as a travel perfume. It’s very feminine – more like girly, but not teen-pop girly. Very lovely, sweet kinda girly. Definetely floral- white floral. Has a nice touch of musk and maybe a hint of wood and vanilla (there’s something really warm, soft and comforting to this scent after the crisp white floral opening).

  23. :

I don’t like the opening. It’s like so many other perfumes, cheap perfumes. Much like a cheap deodorant or a sharp soap.
It’s supposed to be fresh and girly but to me, on my skin, it smells like something a much more mature woman might wear. The “matureness” (I really have no idea how I should say it differently) combined with the fake roomspray freshness make it something horrible to me.
The drydown however, is so much nicer. It is a warm sweet musk playing with little hints of really sharp citrus. It still smells quite soapy, but not as unpleasant as the opening.
Oh I wanted to like this, the bottle is so cute and the fragrance could be so fresh and light, but not for me unfortunately.

i bought this perfume because of i think i should have one fresh fragrance(my collection is full of heavy fragrances), at the first smell i love it.but sometimes citruses are smell more sharp and dominating the other notes.

I tryed it just on a strip of papir, it was fresh and nice, but rather sharp for me. I think is was Cassis and Neroli, which came throught rather sharp. And it may be the papir which gave its undertone..
But I think it was a good one for summer or spring 🙂
It was released in winter to fresh up the coldness, I think.

This is pretty and light, but rather a shallow fragrance. Orange, a bit of musk and a kind of floral hint that softens it. Linear really. Nice for daytime and spring though.

  27. :

A darling fragrance, fresh and clean, with the orange blossom coming out very well, keeping the overly-floral, sweet jasmine under control. It is green, crisp and clean. It smells of spring blossoms after a rain and used in the daytime or at bedtime evokes a feeling of happiness and peace.

A very refreshing, floral fragrance. Ideal for hot sunny days!

  29. :

Starts out kind of nice, fresh and floral, but soon that floralness turns into something a bit masculine and colognish.. Not my style, but fine for someone who wants something casual and easy to wear.

I wonder why they launched this one in winter, too!
It’s a lovely orange flower scent, very feminine, fresh with a strong citrus opening that reminds of Citrus Verbena and sweet with flowers. The drydown is smoother and a little warmer with soft woods as it sets on skin. As many L’Occitane is not a complex fragrance but it doesn’t smell cheap either.
It would be a nice scent to wear in spring. The sillage is quite good and also lasting power is long.
I tried it again. I still like it very much, but I noticed that it’s quite similar to D&G Light Blue, lacking originality.

    Wonderful! Just lovely.
Similar in mood to Miss Dior Cherie L’Eau and J’adore l’Eau Cologne Florale.
Beautiful light jasmine, no hint of bitterness from orange blossom and neroli, very airy and sparkling!
    A perfect spring fragrance.
    Love at first smell!
I wonder why they are launching it in winter. Maybe they want to go against the trend.

A truly feminine, delicate fragrance made of white flowers and oranges. Pure, innocent, fresh, casual. Great for day ware.
