Got this as a blind purchase on auction, with the lotion. Love the Philosophy products, and especially this one. It is softly present, clean and feminine. Can wear this anytime. Have layered with my R&G Blue Carnation and they go well together.

My first review…this seems as good a place to start as any. I love this fragrance, it’s so peaceful and calming to me. I get really bright peony (I think) at first, then it settles down to a creamy tuberose, but whatever the “green” note is keeps it super fresh and light. The whole effect is spring-y, fresh, and happy! I especially like this for daytime when I’m going to be outside in warm weather–it’s not too much and makes me feel fresh and feminine. It doesn’t last a long time on skin, but does seem to stick to my clothing.

I have many Philosophy fragrances including this one. I love all the ones I own. They are such an affordable, quality brand. All the ones I own have good to better sillage and longevity. Application in the AM for me will last an entire work day. If going out for the evening I might reapply, but it woukdnt be necessary.
Field of Flowers is fresh and pretty. It smells of pure flowers. No wood, grasses or foods. I would not use the word ‘soft’ to describe her, but gentle. ‘Soft’ indicates to me, powdery or light in weight. FoF is not a heavy perfume, but it definitely has presence. The scent smells the same from application to dry down, which is fine for me. Not every perfume I own needs to evolve.
FoF is great for a younger female, but don’t be surprised if older females who have access to your collection borrow it. It is a great every day fragrance. It will be noticed, but not introduce itself before you do. I know a lot of women who have jobs where they are in close contact with clients and they prefer Philosophy as their perfumes aren’t overpowering. I wear FoF in all seasons except winter (US/Midwest) unless I’m trying to give myself a reminder of what I have to look forward to in the Spring while I endure the long miserable winters where I live. FoF gets 4/4 stars from me.

The Peony bursts thru incredibly strong for the first 20 minutes. After the dry down this mellows out into a lovely Micheal Kors-esq creamy tuberose white flower extravaganza. On its own the sillage and longevity is poor, but layered over the lotion and / or Shower-gel it can last the day. It is a bright spring day scent that should bring a smile to even the most jaded among us. Caution if you are allergic to pollen- the scent is so realistic it makes me think I need to take an Allegra. Luckily, no runny nose or watery eyes occur, but it is a very realistic and lifelike scent. No artificial or plastic notes here.

I love it! It reminds me of my childhood and the perfumes I would wear when I was a little girl in the 80s. Very nostalgic.

I agree with both reviews below. Field Of Flowers DOES beat out alot of BBW’s latest offerings, (although through the years there have been some lovely ones,) and YES! It does smell just like its name.
This simple yet magical scent has the ablity to stimulate the imagination. (It smells that much like the real thing!)
while the company claims that “Field of Flowers” is prominent peony, (and probably it is, if they say so,) To me, it smells more like a generous mixture of freshly bloomed, earthy, stemy wild flowers bursting with fragrance from the warmth of the summer sun.
Simple, lovely, magical!

This is a light, pretty, refreshing peony and honeysuckle fragrance. It’s a great choice for an inexpensive summer spritz (in fact, I prefer the body spritz to the edt). The lasting power is excellent. Field of Flowers isn’t groundbreaking, or original, but it’s lovely, and flowery, and cheap. It beats the caps off the majority of Bath and Body Works aromas, and it’s uplifting, yet subtle. None of your co-workers is going to keel over if they manage to get a whiff of Field of Flowers, and it’s highly unlikely that even those “allergic-to-everything-including-air-and-water” types will complain about this one.

This really does smell like a field of flowers, dirt and all =) That’s why I like it. It’s poetic, to me.
