Description

A new version of the popular perfume for women Ferre Rose, named Ferré Rose Princesse
was announced as the ‘undisputed symbol of femininity’.

Its flacon is coloured in gentle, pastel pink, and has a strict, rectangular shape with a square stopper decorated with silver border. Logo of the perfume house is written in a darker shade of pink on the flacon.

Composition of this fragrance was created by Karine Dubreuil as a fruity-floral, which is based on beautiful, aristocratic Princesse (de Monaco) Rose. The perfume opens with sweet-sourish notes of Sicilian bergamot, Spanish sweet orange, Mexican lemon, wild blackberries and green apple. The heart blooms with wood lilac, pear flowers, rose princesse, damascena rose, white magnolia and violet leaves, while the base is composed of tender musk and woody aromas – sandalwood and palissander wood.

Ferré Rose Princesse will be available as 30ml, 50ml and 100ml edt natural spray. Gianfranco Ferre offers also a 200 ml body lotion with the same scent as an accompanying product.
Ferré Rose Princesse was launched in 2008.

I’m a rose lover, magnolia and lilac are my other floral faves,I also like apple dominant floralfruitys and blueberry looks interesting so I thought I’m gonna love this but I don’t,I don’t dislike it either but it’s not what I’ve imagined at all..they could make a rose, magnolia, lilac, apple, blueberry scent much, much better than this blah
They are no citrus notes to my nose, not even slightest hint of citruses or anything juicy, tart, crisp and refreshing and I think this is my biggest problem with ferre rose princess, lack of freshness..I can detect a dominant apple note,it’s sweet and lacks apple’s usual crispness..there is also a berrylike scent but not atall what I’ve imagined as a real blueberry, berry scent is sweet, overripe AND syntethic IMO,it’s more like the blueberry flavor they add to jellys not the real fruit
It’s heart is floral, rose, magnolia and lilac are all detectable and I’m really surprised to see my beloved notes in this non-lovely condition, syntethic berry note and lack of freshness, makes these lovely florals to look like dead flowers not fresh, dewy florals petals..there is almost no changes accruing in drydown, just small amount of sweet musk is added to soulless florals
Ferre princess rose doesn’t smell bad,it’s inoffensive,it may be a good spring scent for a young girl, who is new to fragrances and rose dominant florals with a slight, sweet fruity twist, but they could make it unbelievably better by adding some sparkly fruit notes, not syntethic ones and some clean, airy musk and soft woods as stronger base,I won’t purchase it even for my young, teenage sister,I know she may love it now, because she loves rose, magnolia and apple in perfumes, but I’m affraid this may cause her hate floralfruitys in longterm
Longevity and sillage are moderate, acceptable as a girly floralfruity
I’m gonna give oriental ferre rose a fair chance,I really hope that one would be better
    ❤❤

When I first smelled it I was enchanted. It is a rose perfume but it’s also as much a magnolia. My 2 favorite flowers yes! The opening is a blue berry sweet and soft, delicious. The heart is rose and magnolia and that’s all I could smell. The dry down is woodsy. Simple and subtle. I love how it smells on others as well and everyone gets closer to me when I wear it. Unmistakably feminine and sexy. Pretty. I love to wear this when I perform/sing during my gigs. If you love rose perfumes this one is very nice.

This one is awfully synthetic. I’d say it’s not good for people prone to perfume-induced headaches, even though it’s relatively “quiet”. Lanvin’s Marry Me does exactly the same thing to me.
On my skin, Rose Princesse smells much like air freshener. Rose, green apple, some lemon and musk. I detect no blueberry whatsoever.
If you’re looking for a light, rosy fruity-floral, I’d recommed Trussardi’s Delicate Rose instead (somewhat less sweet and less synthetic than Rose Princesse, but also consisting of rose, citrus, green apple and musk).

It’s nice and spring-ish, but I honestly expected a lot more from Ferre.
I didn’t like it too much, so I sold it recently. It kinda smelled like my grandmother’s air freshener! :((
It’s definitely not my type of fragrance. I don’t feel any warmth or spiciness in it, but it radiates just -cold floral spring smell- .

Delicate, modern rose scent, very fresh due to citrus background. Name is quite accurate, cause fragrance is classy, princess like.
Recommended for rose lovers, who try to find fresh, not sultry rose.

Bought this perfume blindly because of a good deal on the net. From the review on this site, I decided to buy this, and didn’t regret it. It’s floral fruity, and reminds me of my toned down guess for women perfume. Love it, and great for collection especially if you like floral fruity scent.

Got this perfume as a gift. At first I thought I’m not gonna like it coz just by the looks of the box and bottle it’s all pink. Now I’m not really a crazy fan of pink. I thought that this perfume is the sweet type just by hearing the name. After trying it does last long and there’s some sophistication to the scent as well. In the end I really like it. Two thumbs up!!

Maybe it was created for younger girls, but as an adult fragrance it’s a pretty mediocre flanker. All I get is a pink, extremely watery composition with no discernible notes, with almost no sillage, and longevity of about 30 minutes. I wore it a few times and no matter how much you spray, it just keeps disappearing. I am gald i got it by mistake when purchasing the original Ferre Rose…..at least i got a chance to try it. That being said, I love the original Ferre Rose, which has more depth and intensity. Princesse is a kind of fragrance I would probably consider when buying the first perfume for my daughter. Purchase for yourself at your own risk.

Ferre ROSE PRINCESS basically ratchets up the fruitiness of Ferre ROSE a couple of notches. This has a similar demeanor, though. Sweet and likeable, but not very profound. These fragrances remind me of members of the Salvatore Ferragamo INCANTO series and FERRE ROSE PRINCESS, in particular reminds me of the fruitier members of that SF series. So, yes, they are fairly synthetic, but also reasonably well made. On good days, these sorts of compositions smell very good. On bad days, they are not so good. It’s touch and go…
So, do I like this fruity FERRE ROSE PRINCESS? Well, I’m afraid that my fondness for these flankers diminishes in direct proportion to their distance from the original namesake, FERRE edp, which I love. FERRE ROSE I like, and FERRE ROSE PRINCESS I find just okay. It’s a bit too juvenile for my tastes. If they make another derivative member of this series, it could actually be hate.
Anyway, I’ve learned my lesson: no conclusion can be drawn from an iconic perfume about any of its flankers!
(I just took a look at the perfumer’s (Karine Dubreuil’s) oeuvre, and it appears that she designed Salvatore Ferragamo SHINE as well. Like I was saying…)

at the beginning, the fragrance is kind of spicy on my skin. later, it becomes soft and comfortable and u can really get the rose. the lasting power is not good, but ok. to me it the fragrance is kind of soapy but in a good way. it is not great but ok.

This is pure, sweet rose, and nothing but it. Those who don’t like sweet perfumes, stay away from it. Even though there is citrus, I can’t smell it. Vey feminine.

Tried on it and bought a very small one (5ml). I’m a fan of rose perfume so I thought this one would also be kinda rosy.
No. It’s more like a floral perfume( not rose) and it smells quite sweet. The tiny hint of citrus prevent it from being a cheap sweet perfume.

(This review is for Eau de Toilette)
FERRE ROSE PRINCESSE is pretty and young, dressed up in a cute pink mini-dress driving pink mini-convertible. This rose princess never even saw a garden. She was created in a lab along with the perfect pink high heeled shoes, pink purse and pink lip gloss. Yes, she is lovely, light and easy to like but she is far from what I would call a perfect natural rose scent.
The fragrance opens with nice green apple and lemon notes. The scent is light and conveys the fresh feelings of coming straight out of the shower. In fact, this scent could fit the family of D&G Anthology series scents I have been recently reviewing. The scent continues developing into very light but pleasant scent with rose and magnolia notes. The scent stays linear with rosy light notes and light musk on the dry down.
If you are looking for light and pleasant floral scent with some rose notes then this one will be a good fit. But my preference for more natural youthful rose scent is STELLA NUDE.

Princess is greater than the original one,it’s not sweet and sharp but tender and young, very light and pure rose with lovely fruits.

Pleasant, light rose scent. Not powdery, not very fruity, just rose. Not sweet, just…rose.Pretty linear, note does not change much.
No strong presence. It’s the type of perfume to make the wearer happy. Other people may not notice. Doesn’t last very long.
Despite lacking complexity, I quite like this perfume. Pure and pleasant.

Take everything that you like about spring and summer [berries, lilac, apples, cute stuff, name, cologne lemons x3], pour over ethanol and after few days get your spring fragrant spring spirit. Or just buy Ferre Rose Princess.
It’s typical cutesy rose perfume that is appropriate for almost anyone unless you’re feeling too old for it [or let’s better say ‘mature’].
A soury floral with drop of spice. Perfect for hawt summer and spring days.

I entirely agree with TSOFA: first I was a little reluctant to a base note – I feared it would become obsessive and annoying – but it prooved to remain fresh and pleasantly-obsessive.
Many congratulations and thanks to Mrs. DUBREUIL for this perfume.
One problem, still: it seems to me that its persistance is very poor, thou, on my skin… Nevertheless, this will only make me buy larger bottles :-))

another lovely version of Ferre Rose…this is better than the original rose, while diamond edition is still my favorite.
it starts with obvious berries notes.I can hardly detect any citruses, but it’s very fruity and girlish.it’s a bit more sour than the other versions, but it softens when it remains.
the heart is just the same romantic rose, which is not overpowering nor powdery, just a modern girlish rose.
I agree with the reviewer that it reminds me a bit “baby doll” by YSL,but it starts better.
smart name, because all of ferre rose perfumes are like living as a Barbie or princess in a pink world.

“Don’t be afraid of the Roses!” say the little pink heads of millions of little fairies. “Don’t combine us with another fragrances, we know we are so powerful and we don’t need make-up or luxurious dresses to be beautiful, as we are princesses, and our elegance and grace and class comes through even when we are growing in the dust. It’s us, who contribute our petals to make the most of the perfumes and cosmetics you use, and we give ourselves truly, not like the pretentious lily-of-the valley or gardenia, who fake their contribution to the distillation. Some creators made us seem dangerously heavy, but in fact we love sun and happiness, smiling all day and all seasons.” Thus spoke the Roses, and probably the author of Ferre Rose Princesse has heard them and made them justice, letting the glorious, simple yet magnifique fragrance to live freely, without complications, in a sincere, simple and noble perfume, like only a princesse can be.
This Rose Princesse comes closest to the Rosa Damascena extract that I have from Bulgaria, that is pure delight of rose power. Compared with other complicated modern and pyramidal scents, this extract is like seeing for the first time Mona Lisa by Da Vinci live, after knowing it from albums, photos or fame. Or smelling for the first time a rose, in the sunny valley where it grows, knowing it only from perfumes and cosmetics.

The PINKiest scent I’ve ever tried!
Really girly, happy, bright… Reminds me of Baby doll without the citruses & spicy background.
It’s softer, but so care-free – like a princess in her pink lovely court. Romantic, even a bit infantile. Good staying power. It’s tender, but not descrete in my opinion: it’s like a smile on a young girl’s face – evident & simple 🙂

I was looking for a fragrance with a basic “rose” smell, but nothing had pleased me so far until one day, reading through some magazines, I caught a glimpse at “FERRE Rose Princess”…
This perfume is created so well that its notes come in full harmony with the “rose” basic I was looking for. I must admit that, at first, I got a little scared at one of its other ingredient, the “sandal wood” basic, but somehow it was very light… I believe that Mrs. Dubreuil was in her best mood while creating this perfume and, finally, I am very pleased with its purchase (started with a 30 ml bottle)! After “Maîtresse – by Agent Provocateur” (my all time favorite!), this is the second perfume I will further buy a full 100 ml bottle.
Discrete scent, beautiful bottle and a perfect result combine to a perfume that calls for a magical journey to… Monaco! Will you join?

I had the opportunity to smell this perfume in preview. it is very young and girlish. A very fresh top notes, full of citrus fruity notes, plus an accord of wild berries. The core is very floral, intense notes of roses and delicate violet. The bottom is very soft and gentle, with a strong musky-powdery feeling.
