Description

Fragrance FATALE surprised us with new bottle design which changed the characteristic form drastically, leaving glass completely transparent and glittery, additionally highlighted with smooth facettes. Fragrance flacon is crowned with a transparent stopper following the same flacon form, reminding us of a skillfully polished gem. Composition of the new fragrance Fatale provokes with pink pepper and black currant announcing a seductive heart of creamy gardenia gently sweetened with mango. Base of the composition warms the skin in sensual way with vanilla orchid and velvety musk. The fragrance arrives as 50 and 100ml Eau de Parfum.

Advertising campaign features Monica Cruz (Mónica Cruz Sánchez), Spanish actress, professional dancer and model, best known from the series ‘A step ahead’ (Un Paso Adelante) where she played one of the main roles, which made her famous. Her sister is famous Spanish actress Penelope Cruz. Fatale can be expected on the market in June 2014.
The nose behind this fragrance is Jean-Marc Chaillan.

Very nice fragrance, which smells a lot like La Vie Est Belle. The chocolate smells very sweet, more like praline. I also get soft and creamy orchid and sweet fruits, mostly black currant. In the drydown the gardenia and musk are noticeable, but Fatale keeps smelling very sweet and gourmand.
Sillage is moderate, longevity is about 6 hours.
    A lovely perfume!

A very good budget version of LVEB. In fact, it’s a bit warmer than LVEB..and more inviting. Longevity not as good, but I’ll be buying this rather than LVEB.

    The scent of temptation.
Delicious sweet peach, mango, vanilla and hint of chocolate – a complete presentation of sweet desserts in a bottle, with a promise of perpetual addiction.
The sex appeal is not overbearing, instead Fatale present the right amount of mysterious allure, gradual intoxication and delicate seduction you won’t able to resist.

This is interesting-I got a tester in a swap and the perfume in the tester is a very rich deep golden-orange, not at all like the photo here. I don’t know if its EDP or EDT, or how old it is.
On me, this opens up as a rich, deep fruit. Its mango and over-ripe peaches, very warm and cosy. The sweetness is that of fruit, not chocolate or vanilla, and its absolutely nothing like LVEB (on me at least). It dries down to a skin scent of warm and slightly spiced musk, smooth and gentle, nothing to loud, but cosy and intimate. I really liked this-its feminine, graceful and even though it doesn’t last too long (2 hours tops) its good to wear.

On me, opens smelling very much like LVEB, but quickly changes. The chocolate has almost a licorice quality with florals presenting in the background. My boyfriend’s favorite is LVEB, and I purchased this hoping to find a less expensive substitute. I will update on how well this goes. As for me, I like the fragrance and am still getting to know it.

It really reminds La Vie Est Belle, only more interesting and catchy. The base is sweet and truly charming.

    nothing like LVEB
    a bit like Sofia Vergara
    but not totally the same
i was expecting a patchouli bomb
but here the patchouli is smooth and soft
a hidden gem in the background
    almost creamy with the chocolate
    not a dirt earthy patchouli
i like dirt earthy patchouli more to be honest
    orchid ? couldn’t smell it
with so many patchouli+sweet scent in the market nowadays
i can say Jimmy Choo edp and Mugler Angel are still my fav
others are just bunch of copies

I agree this smells nothing like LVEB to my nose either. I do smell a strange similarity to lipstick on though! It’s not exactly the same but that powdery cosmetic scent is there. I love it!!! It’s a gorgeous fragrance. I’m super happy with this blind buy!!!

This is nothing like La Vie Est Belle to my nose. Maybe a distant relative. It opens pretty citrusy and light actually then gradually turns into sweet, chocolatey, musky, floral scent. I like it. It’s a decent autumn/winter fragrance that is also very wallet friendly. Flirty & sexy.

Neither me or my GF loved it but as i took it in closely on her neck i was hit with the image of her on our future wedding day in a beautiful slinky white gown … yeah , this is wedding day / bride worthy 🙂

This is just so beautiful and a perfect Autumn scent. I don’t smell any similarities to La Vie est Belle, it does have very similar notes to Arbre D’Or by Simply Argan, which isn’t in the Fragrantica database, but Fatale has more to it which I find beautiful. I bought this after reading the reviews, I had a bad experience with the Original Agent Provocateur which I found just awful and vowed not to buy anything else from Agent Provocateur but this sounded too good not to try, very glad I took the plunge 🙂
Update: The longevity of this is amazing. I sprayed a small amount this morning, it’s now nearly 5pm and it’s still going good. Really impressed with everything about this perfume, I’m glad my first impressions of Agent Provocateur have changed, maybe I won’t be so scared of trying another sometime.

I love this! It does smell very similar to lancome la vie est belle, but less sweet. I actually prefer this one. You do get chocolate and you do get a little floral and citrus, it’s a good, modern scent, very girly, but also ladylike, playful I guess. Not agent provocateurs usual, but a hit for me.
This does have good projection and lasts almost all day on my skin. I’ve bought a few bottles incase it suddenly dissapears

This is a sort of lighter Angel, the fatale scents definitely have some mugler similarities (fatale intense smells a lot like A-Men) this one has the chocolate and patch of Angel but much more subdued. the silage is pretty decent and it has good longevity. While AP isn’t breaking any new ground here, this does smell pretty and it’s a great chocolate- patch that isn’t too heavy or cloying.

Mmmm…chocolate and orchids. I smell nummy. Hugged a work colleague at an event today and she remarked “you smell so good!” Had another female colleague exclaim “You smell divine!” while standing in my office door. Definitely a close ringer for La Vie Est Belle. In fact, think I much prefer Fatale, as LVEB can be a little cloying for me. Definitely soft and in no way cloying or overpowering. Acquired for a steal from TJ Maxx, blind-bought actually, before I read here it was similar to LVEB. A definite “like”!

I thought I could smell really intense raspberry – must be the blackcurrant. Didn’t realise there was a chocolate note until I got onto this page.
    Extremely sweet.

  16. :

Where are mango or black currant??? It’s LVEB, which I hate and think it’s Lancome’s worst perfume after Poem. I so regret I bought it blind, relying on my general love of AP’s perfume. It also doesn’t stay long, which is probably not a bad thing. It smells like all those cheap pharmacy brands. It’s place is in pharmacy at $15 a bottle.

Some scents u like right off the bat. Some scents u spray u get worried at first like this is too sweet then you end up loving as the days go by u find yourself reaching for it more…ENTER Agent Provocateur Fatale. Upon first spray I was like dang another Sofia Vergara love type perfume with that sweet cordial opening raspberry cherry syrupy opening. However quickly it settles into the skin and reminds me of Coco mademoiselle and La Vie est belle type perfume. It’s sexy and a delight. And the price is phenomenal. At the end the chocolate and patchouli stand out and warm to the skin creating the la vie est Belle type base. AGent Provocateur Fatale is la vie est Belle “fast” wanna be grown daughter. La Vie est belle is the more refined a little less fruity of the two. I highly recommend Fatale if u want a sweet sexy warm fragrance for these upcoming cold weather approaching

Before I make a blind purchase I check out the reviews on fragrantica.com and the comments and opinions are spot on. I took a chance based on the comments and I’m glad I did. Agent Provocateur Fatale is grown and sexy which is what I look for in a fragrance. I don’t know about notes and I’m not a fan of the Pop Star fragrances which to me smells sweet and fruity. I just know what smells good to me. This fragrance reminds me of Lancôme’s La vie eat belle.

awesome blind buy. I found this beauty for a super cheap price; 15$ to be exact! I love it!!! i have always liked LVEB but never enough to buy it, especially for the price tag it holds (it just wasn’t unique enough to pay more than $40 for).
I never expected this beauty to have that similar, beautiful, girly dry down as LVEB at this price point. This is absolutely worth so much more than the $15 I paid (I would have gladly paid up to $40, again just because its really pretty but it isn’t very unique). I’m glad its so affordable though 🙂 I wore this after my shower this morning and I can still smell the sweet, soft, feminine, and creamy base after 10 hours (I do layer this on top of an odorless lotion and find that even my weaker scents last longer after i do this trick).
Ok, so the first initial spray is strong and it almost felt like it was stinging my nose in a not pleasant and very harsh way. HOWEVER! after just a few SECONDS of hitting my skin and warming up a bit, it changed to that very LVEB-esque sweet, soft beauty.
This is one I can use without fear of offending anyone. It has medium to light projection. Sillage is also around the same.
It is cooler outside right now, and this scent just makes me feel warm and sweet. If you find this, DO get it! you definitely won’t lose. Especially at a lower price.

I’ve been wearing this one for a while and as far as descriptions go, everyone below me has pretty much summed it up. This smells like a lighter, fruitier, LVEB with a toned down patchouli. If you like LVEB, but think it’s too heavy…this one would be a great fragrance for you to try.
The initial spray is black current that transitions to mango shortly after. During the middle phase you smell the chocolate and orris root, and finally it dries to a chocolate orchid musk.
This is a nice perfume, but I find it kind of boring. It doesn’t rock my world like L’Agent does or at least pique my interest like Maitresse or Eau Emotionelle. To be completely honest, in a world full of so many different fragrance options…I’m not quite sure I want to continue to be bothered with this one. I have 1 full bottle unused and a second bottle that’s about 98% full. They both still have their boxes and retail sleeves. PM me if anyone in the US would be interested in doing a swap.

I absolutely 100% agree with the reviewer below who describes it as Gres Lumiere Noire wrapped in candy floss. That is spot on!
I was a bit sceptic, but seemed to gravitate towards it quite often after I bought it. Why? It`s so easy to wear and smells good!
To me it`s praline sweetness with a shade of patchouli in the background. It`s not annoyingly sweet. Some people seem to get a heavy cacao vibe, but I don`t. It`s actually more of a “fresh” sweetness than I normally would expect from a praline/vanilla combo.
I will happily finish my bottle, but won`t rebuy.

  22. :

    5 out of 5

I’ve tried this one in a shop. After few minutes, I realised it smells similar to GRES Lumiere Noire but wrapped in candy floss. Patchouli, sweet but gentle floral, a hint of possibly chocolate and wrapped in candy floss, eventually toning down to gentle warmth. I agree with those who said the perfume is no Va Va Voom. It’s like turning a Barbie but playing in the corner, not becoming a real one. It’s more a calming perfume, wrapping you in its own dream world. The silage is gentle.

I blind bought this perfume because I am a fan of the Agent Provocateur line of fragrances. I get this is new direction for the line, different bottles and all, and venturing into the more gourmand side which let’s face it is the current craze. Not crazy about gourmands, but as most of the fragrances from this line have been good, I had high expectations. Frankly as it seems to be compared to LVEB, I prefer LVEB because of the prominent patchouli. This reminds me of opening a big bag of sweets / candies, that delicious sweet smell. How does it fit in with the Fatale aspect? I wish it had a bit more ‘va-va voom’. Just a little something to amp up the ‘femme Fatale’ aspect.

  24. :

    3 out of 5

Blind buy…wasn’t crazy about it at first, but then the more I wore it, the better I liked it. The initial spray is kind of ugh…but then it softens up into a sweet feminine scent that I have grown to like. 🙂

  25. :

    4 out of 5

What I get from this perfume is DESSERT. On my skin this perfume is pure gourmand. I don’t get much florals. It smells like a Latin dessert called “Arros con leche” similar to rice pudding. It’s sweet and thick like condensed milk. It has rice undertones that come off as powdery. I also get a lot of vanilla and chocolate, which makes it extra decadent. I can see the similar otitis between LVEB. But LVEB’s patchouli note is way more prominent with gourmand undertones. Fatale is more of a gourmand with a soft patchouli undertone.

  26. :

    5 out of 5

I get the comparison to LVEB – but to me this is a more ‘Summer Friendly’ fragrance. It’s not as sweet on me as many describe, but then I have to add, I really love my sickly sweet fragrances. This is the ‘watered down’ version of LVEB I was looking for during the Summer months. LVEB and even Black Opium are just way too much for me during a heat wave. This is sweet, but also has a strong almost ‘bitter’ note to it, which makes it much easier to wear in the heat 🙂 I’ll add that I got this at a steal!

  27. :

    5 out of 5

Sickly sweet, nothing interesting like 10000000 other perfumes on the earth. Agent, its a shame create something too boring stuff like this.

  28. :

I purchased my 100ml bottle because of the reviews here..yes, the dry down is very similar to LVEB, but I’m not impressed with its longevity and sillage..
I am not a perfume snob, although I have to admit that I have this thing for lancome frags because of the lasting power and superb sillage..after trying both Fatale and LVEB, the winner is the latter one to me..it’s just smells more dreamy and pleasant
overall Fatale is not bad, but nothing spectacular..I won’t re-purchase it..

  29. :

It’s like a mix between Katy Perry Killer Queen and Rihanna Rouge Love
An ok fragrance, not very special yet not bad.

  30. :

    3 out of 5

Oh yeah, this is def a lighter LVEB. No doubt about that. For the $29 I paid for a 3.3 new tester, it’s a win. For an even cheaper option, try Perpetual Pearl by Jeanne Arthes… that is about $10-20 and is also a LVEB dupe.
I don’t get a whole lot of Flowerbomb.
This Fatale does have something “more” than LVEB? The Florals?
It’s sweet and wearable, much less potent than LVEB. I like it. But I also like LVEB and Flowerbomb.

  31. :

    4 out of 5

In addition to the fact that “Fatal” also refers to stockings by Wolford and is therefore confusing as you would have thought that AP and Wolford are to some extent competitors, the scent as such has nothing new to say. It appears to be a blend of best selling fragrances that arrived on the market over the past 5-10 years, in particular Manifesto and some from the Dior range.
Although quality is reasonable, this one is nothing in comparison to the original AP scent, but rather uninspired sweetness without depth or subtlety.
    **

  32. :

    3 out of 5

I’ve only had this two days. I think I love it. Yes, it is in a similar vein to Flowerbomb and La Vie but neither of these sit well on my skin and both become unbearably cloying despite smelling gorgeous on others.
At first spray, this is much lighter than FB and La Vie but is still a tad too cloying for me. However, Fatale settles into a truly beautiful creamy gardenia, chocolate musk. The dry-down is slightly reminiscent of Narciso (in the white cube bottle). Must be the milky gardenia musk that appears in Narciso that is comparable here. I also detect strong similarities between this and Beckham Signature but thankfully Fatale lacks the sickly star anise and apple notes.
I think I’ll be wearing this a lot during the cooler months in the UK. This is a wonderfully feminine and sensual fragrance. I’ll be ordering a larger bottle for Christmas!

  33. :

    3 out of 5

this does smell identical to La Vie Est belle, however this (on me) lasts about an hour where La Vie Est Belle lasts about 12+ hours. that aside its a nice fragrance, if you like La Vie then you’ll like/love this one. if it lasted even half as long on me as i wish it did it’d be a top favourite.

  34. :

    4 out of 5

    Joyful oriental
Another wonderful perfume from Agent Provocateur. Oriental, sweet, aromatic with the chocolate and vanilla accord which makes it wearable even in spring and summer. Long lasting, AP perfumes never let you down, with decent sillage and nice glass bottle. Fatale is in the same vibe of Flowerbomb and La vie est belle. Try it and will not be disappointed.

  35. :

    5 out of 5

I agree that this smells like a crossover of La Vie Est Belle and Flowerbomb. I think it’s because of the sweet and patchoulie notes that it bears a resemblance to them.
Unfortunately, the lasting power of this isn’t very good on me. I’d say it lasted around two hours before it faded away completely which is every disappointing as it’s such a nice scent.

  36. :

    3 out of 5

    CLOYING CACAO
Every shop I’ve seen this perfume the juice is dark orange, however my bottle is colourless. I bought the 30ml and wore it almost every day for a month.
This is lovely but I wont be re-purchasing… I’m not blown away with it and I have plenty of other scents in my collection which I connect with more.
I agree that this is a crossover of Flowerbomb and La Vie Est Belle.

  37. :

    3 out of 5

Chocolate and vanilla orchid are the most noticeble notes in Fatale. It reminds me of a lighter version of Lancôme La Vie Est Belle . The bottle, lid and packaging is so pretty and luxurious ..

  38. :

    5 out of 5

Amazing! I just picked this up today, and it is every bit as good as I thought it was going to be! It smells so yummy, I can really pick up the chocolate and vanilla orchid, with just a hint of patchouli and mango in the background. I can’t smell the pepper which is a good thing, as i’m not too keen on peppery perfumes, but it probably keeps the perfume from being too overpoweringly sweet.
I can’t compare to La Vie Est Belle as I have never smelled it, but it does remind me ever so slightly of Giorgio Armani Si, one of my favourite perfumes.
This is such a soft floaty scent, good for daytime use, and velvety-rich enough for evening too. The sillage seems good so far, but can’t comment on longevity yet as I only sprayed it an hour ago.
All in all, a beautiful scent, one that I look forward to wearing much more.
Edit; after wearing it all day, I can STILL smell it faintly twelve hours later!! Love it!

  39. :

    4 out of 5

I can see why a lot of women would like this, it’s a cousin of the insanely popular Flowerbomb. The chocolate is incredible, but it just has too much going on, and the patchouli turns it into sickly sweet baby powder in short order. It is admittedly quite sexy though. Pass. This much patchouli for me is a sinus infection in a bottle unfortunately.

  40. :

    3 out of 5

Smells uplifting and feminine with almost a cute mature quality to it. For optimistic sweetness lovers that don’t want to smell like a sugar-bomb. It’s just so pretty!
I personally couldn’t detect it anymore after 4 hours, but others could still smell it after 8 hours which is very impressive. But.. I guess not smelling it after a while is a good thing since it’s so yummy it makes me want to eat myself. A wrist-sniffer for sure.

  41. :

This is one of the scents I grab during those Grab Your Big Girl Panties / Time to Act Your Age moments. I typically gravitate towards sugary floral/fruity scents but every now and then I like acknowledge that I am in my mid-thirties, and this is one of the fragrances I go for. This is clearly fruity/floral if I like it, but it is not as saccharine as others out there, I would say this is along the same lines of my other not-quite-sugarbomb go-tos : Coco Mademoiselle and Jimmy Choo.
EDIT: I swear, the more I wear this the more I love it!

  42. :

    3 out of 5

This is Va Va Voom on me 🙂
Delicious! Lekker! very seductive smell… Fantastic chocolate mix with gardenia and vanilla orchid… see… I want to lick my body when I spray this 🙂

  43. :

This is La Vie Est Belle light.
Fatale is more office friendly and appropriate for the weather at the moment (between 10-20 degrees) than LVEB which really shines in the freezing cold.
That’s how I justify owning both!

  44. :

The bottle in our store is such a dark orange colour, but the lady that takes care of it won’t change it and will be offended if someone else changes it for her -_-‘

  45. :

Ummmm….nope. On me it is just another gourmand that I love to hate. Leaving to all you gourmand lovers.

  46. :

    5 out of 5

For me this was one of those scents I fell immediately in love with and had to buy the next day, because I couldn’t help myself (plus it’s pretty cheap!).
I have to agree with previous reviews; it does remind me of something else so I wouldn’t call it unique, but I want to say it’s more of a cross between several scents (if they were mixed together AND TONED DOWN quite a bit): La Vie Est Belle by Lancome, Black Opium by YSL, V&R’s Flowerbomb, Jimmy Choo and maybe a tiny, tiny hint of Velvet Orchid by Tom Ford. To be honest, the only fragrance of them I’ve actually gone out and bought is the latter, as I’m not a huge fan of the first mentioned but to me FATALE is the best of all of them combined (I only wish it was a bit more potent).
I think the reason I like FATALE so much is because the patchouli is there but silent, bringing forward all the other yummy notes without screaming: “HERE I AM! Look at me! Smell me!”
The only downside is that I kinda wish it was a little bit more: “HERE I AM!” because on my skin the sillage could be better. Longevity is OK (4 hours?), but I would love for it to last even a little bit longer. But, oh well.. what can you do. For the pricetag I don’t mind respraying a bit throughout the day. I think it’s delicious and sensual and yummy! Just the way I like it.
All in all: FATALE is a great and very likeable scent that I would recommend you to try out if you’re not into LVEB or Flowerbomb, but you would like something “similar/in those lines”. FATALE would be a great alternative.
BTW, my friends LOVE it too! 🙂

  47. :

    5 out of 5

It totally smells like La Vie est Belle, but toned down, not as sweet and less headache inducing.
I would recommend it to everyone who likes LVEB but want a softer version of it.

  48. :

    4 out of 5

Delicious! Fruits, Chocolate & Orchid. It’s sweet & juicy, warm & sensual, alluring & playful…
It does bring to mind La Vie Est Belle, but it’s definitely not that similar (to me at least). LVEB is much more about patchouli than Fatale.
Fatale is very enjoyable and easier to wear than LVEB.

  49. :

    4 out of 5

Yes it is similar to La vie est Belle edp… but the AG fatale is so much more toned down and a little less sweet..This one is perfect if you love LVEB but find it to strong or too much. Fatale also has got a much more subtle chocolate patchouli from the first spray, it ‘almost’ borders to powdery which makes it so much gentler than LVEB. Which, in turn, also makes me wonder weather the two should swap names…there is certainly nothing fatale going on here to me. But I like it. Nothing outstanding, but very nice and likeable.
I still can smell a hint of this one on the sleeve of my coat tree days after testing it on my wrist, and what is left seems to be a tad more peachy or fruity version of LVEB.
Its futile to compare it to the pink fatale by the way, they are completely different.

  50. :

    3 out of 5

“I disagree with the majority of reviews. To me, this is SEX IN A BOTTLE!
    Enough said!!”
—-Must be some sweet candy type sex 😉
I’ll admit that this is a very easy to like perfume. Easy to like, easy to wear…. It’s definitely sweet yet sensual. Not at all cloying. Has a nice balance of girlish charm mingled with the maturity of musk and gardenia to ground all the yummy sweetness. The black current is nice and tangy in the opening which softly settles into a nicely crafted chocolety orchid with musky hints. the patch is there but only a whisper, not nearly as much as in flowerbomb. I can sense the resemblance to lancome belle as well but I find this one less loud, and with rounded edges.

  51. :

    4 out of 5

Agent Provocateur Fatale is a slightly powdery fruity floral on me. The blackcurrant is prominent, but not dominating. And it feels very smooth among the creamy orchid and gardenia.
The chocolate is relatively subtle on me, but it complements the slightly powdery texture very well, and adds a bit of gourmand touch. The other seemingly deep base notes are not noticeable to me, so Fatale feels sensual but with a light heart.
The sillage is soft on me, and the longevity is around 8 hours. I can see the reference with Lancôme La Vie est Belle, although it feels decidely much more gourmand than Fatale. I do find this fragrance very enjoyable, but it doesn’t feel like ‘Femme Fatale’ to me, and less edgy than previous AP offerings as well. A relatively affordable fruity floral fragrance, and far from being childish.

  52. :

    5 out of 5

Oh.My.God.Now this is what I call a sexy perfume! You need to try this choclate-y,senzual,velvet-y fume, this is like you’ve been wrapped in the most delicious chocolate sauce.I love it!

  53. :

    4 out of 5

Definitely a gourmand scent in my view. Imagine a fine chocolate shell filled with generous layers of soft caramel and mango purée and topped with vanilla cream , and to add a sophisticated touch decorated with sprinkling of pink pepper and a sprig of juicy black currants. Does it work? We’ll not for me but then I am not a fan of anything overly sweet. I found the top notes of pink pepper and black currant delightful but they were soon lost. The over sweetness of the heart was quickly compounded by the chocolate caramel of the base. I really felt like I had eaten a large portion of a very rich dessert which stayed with me for many hours.
I think lovers of sweet perfumes will find this one very tempting

  54. :

I can’t help it, I just LOVE fragrances like this one!
Similar to many other great sweet bombs like La vie est belle and it’s flankers, also Pierre Balmain’s Extactic and Flowerbomb.
This is just deliciously sweet orchid, cacao and patchouli scent with some lovely gardenia and black currants.
This has so many qualities I love, I’m considering buying it.
The best thing is, this one is quite affordable compared to my other sweet favorites!
Need to have it in my collection!

I have a sample of this, my mothers reaction when I spritzed it on the skin…
    WHOW!
Yes, you could hear the H!
My first impression on inhaling from the card was BAILEYS the cream irish liquer scent that I love so much. Bailey’s is my poison after all!
That was because of the chocolate. The fragrance quickly changes notes the way a Beethoven Symphony can. One second all the instruments are playing at their loudest inducing tinnitus to anyone hearing it, then once your attention is caught, the ochestral movements glide smoothly into a sublime melody invoking an image of floral sweets, like Turkish Delights. Eating them in a garden surrounded by rose bushes with a gentle breeze urging the perfume to wrap a hand on your wrist.
The final movement is that warm musky hold that slips a finger further up your arm whilst leaning over and whispers: “You know you want more!”
If this is what La Vie Est Belle is like I must have that… but first, I think the Fatale has a little knowing smile on her big, beautiful lips…

on me at the opening it is berry-patchouli scent with a hint of gardenia. then it turns to chocomusky smell.
its phases are very successful. so i cant compare it with LVEB. the main difference is LVEB is comfy, smells good but isnt a headturner scent. but this one(somehow) makes me and the others crazy 🙂 so if i label LVEB as urban chic, this one is surely a dirty chic who has blonde hair, black fur coat, spoiled black eyeliner, and of course with a red lipstick.
on me its sillage moderate but longevity is more than 12 hours. i love the last phase.

A gorgeous fragrance that is far away from APs previous scents. I cant get over how it smells just like La Vie est Belle. The sillage is moderate but the longevity is really long. I could still smell it on my wrists after 12 hours! My oh really likes the scent as well. He soon picked up on it when he arrived home from work. It is a rather sweet gourmand but sadly I wont purchase as I already have La Vie est Belle! There are just so many of these sweet fragrances

Another sickly sweet, one dimensional, sinus headache of a scent, destined to drive sensitive noses mad this Christmas. Bleurgh. If you can stretch to Tom Ford’s Velvet Orchid, I would get that as a much better cold weather, sweet evening scent with orchid.

It’s a love child of Viktor&Rolf Flowerbomb and Lancome La Vie Est Belle 🙂 Nice frangrance

I tried this new Fatale by AP in a rare perfume shop that still carries AP here and I was very curious, but I was disappointed. One try is not maybe enough to give a full opinion, but my first impression is that of a mishmash of notes put together without much care or blending mastery.
Not a stink yet not pleasant. I see many smells the cacao. It took me several sniffing to get the cacao and when I did it was not for the best.
I was quite a fan of original AP, but the following launches left me a little cold. Some very original and some other just flat.
I tried Miatresse again on the other arm and it was not as I remember it. Chemistry, reformulation?
Fatale becomes better after a few minutes. The zesting opening calms down, the flowers come in and are perhaps the best part of the perfume, then it’s faint cacao and unfortunately not well blended with labdanum.
It’s an original scent, notes are very creative and it’s very longlasting, but not really for me.

This is one gorgeous perfume! I bought it today and I’m so happy because it smells so beautiful and sexy.
It is def a soft gourmand with excellent longevity and superb sillage.
It does resemble LVEB a bi tbut Fatale shines of its own light.
It is very different from the usual AP offerings which I love, Fatale is very sweet and snuggly but also very feminine and sensual

I disagree with the majority of reviews. To me, this is SEX IN A BOTTLE!
    Enough said!!

On me this is identical with la vie est belle, i can not detect any differences. I was expecting more from AP. Not bad but definately doesnt have the same vibe with their other fragrances. Unexpectedly mainstream.

Not impressed, but to be fair, it’s one my most long lasting fragrances. It is too much sweet and tacky, but it’s a fruity floral of course, with comforting notes of vanilla and cocoa, but on me it turns really just a common undefinable modern feminine scent.

What a shame! I was hoping for another masterpiece of AP and instead I was a little ‘disappointed. It ‘a good scent, sweet, warm, comforting but not very original. Too similar to many others.
I love AP and recently have been in a wonderful corner in Berlin to test the new parfums and I finally chose “Petale Noir”, much more complex, mysterious, dirty and sensual.
“Fatale” is a fragrance easy to wear for everyday or for when you fancy a sweet cuddle as long as you do not already have anything like it.
Unfortunately it does not add anything new to the world of gourmands.

I’ve managed to get hold of a sample of Fatale so can now write a review based on my experience of actually wearing it, rather than just smelling it from a paper strip.
This is a beautiful fragrance and to my nose is like a cross between La Vie Est Belle and Angel Eau Sucree. So similar in fact, that if you already own one or both of those, I really don’t think you’d need Fatale as well. Lasting power is very good and you’re left with a subtle chocolatey dry-down. I’m just a little disappointed that the new perfume launches I’ve liked the most recently seem to be almost identical to other popular fragrances on the market (which I already own). Nice as this is, I just don’t feel the desire to own it.

I’m a bit confused about this one! I think I tested this the other day in a department store but I’m sure it was in a different bottle from the one pictured here (a black bottle, although the backdrop and picture behind the bottle was black so maybe that’s what it was!) but the description of the smell of this one in some of the reviews fits the smell of the AP perfume I tested. So, I’m sure it is this one. I might just be confused because I tested several per
